Food was really good. Kinda a hole in the wall place but quick to get to from the military base. The high chair I had to use was really really sticky and dirty. That's always a huge let down. You order at the computer at the front and they bring it out. Simple but good. read more

Came bc I saw some fried egg rolls that are fire, sold out. In that sense, must of been good. Service, quick. Food, mid. Meat was thicker than I'd like in pho. Ambiance, better than others. read more

We love Pho Tre Bien... just not this location... we ordered Pho to go this evening and the gave us two plastic baggies (with the jalapeño, lime, cilantro, etc.) that the items on the inside were rotten. It resembled weeds that I had pulled from the yard and put in a plastic shopping bag and let it out in the hot sun for a couple of days. This was not the first time this has happened either. If their quality control is that poor with the greens, it makes you question what else may be going on there. We will not be going to this location again. read more

I ordered takeout through their website/app and it said that it would be ready in 30 minutes. I got to the restaurant in 15 minutes and I checked in to let the server know that I'll wait at the table for my order and they said that it'll be ready soon. So then 20 minutes went by, and it still wasn't ready but I didn't sweat it because I thought they were busy (the restaurant was empty). After another 10 minutes went by two customers walked in and placed their order then sat down. Not even 15 minutes their order was ready which was great, but I still didn't get my order. I went up to the counter and I asked the server if my order was ready because by then I'd been waiting for almost an hour. She looked at me and said sorry that I'll start working on it. I didn't even say anything and I just walked out to wait in my car and eventually they brought it out. This place is nice and I enjoy pho but if there were only 3 people in the restaurant it shouldn't take them almost an hour to make 4 lumpia's and chicken and rice plate. Just sayin... read more

This is a cute little Vietnamese restaurant with friendly counter help. I ordered brisket Pho, which was very disappointing. The brisket was too thick and a bit tough, the broth seemed to be very light compared to other Pho restaurants. The overall taste is sub par for $15. read more

This the last time I will go here. I ordered shrimp and chicken fried rice, but that's not what I got, I did not want to get back so I reviewed my order and NO that not what I wanted!!!! They give me shrimp skewers and the chicken skewers were so tough and dry. They had no flavor. I'm not going back there as you can see in the two pictures. The vegetables they gave me were near rotting. It looks like terrible. read more

I love the pho that is served here! Portions are very big for the bowl. And the lemonade is delicious! All natural and fresh cant get better

We thought this place was great, the Pho had flavor and the portions were good. You can't go wrong with a bowl of Rare Steak and Brisket, filling and flavorful. They have a dish for everyone and not just Pho, from fried rice to vermicelli noodles they have it all. Also if it's your first time here go straight to the counter and order them and let them know what table you are going to sit at. read more

I came to this location wanting some pho for lunch. First off, I don't recommend coming here to sit down and eat. There isn't a lot of room. Plus they get slammed with orders so there are a lot of people standing around waiting on to go orders. Call ahead if your ordering from here. I ordered the chicken pho and fried egg rolls. They told me they just got some egg rolls in so that tells me not house made. When I received them (after 25 mins) they were soggy with grease and really had no flavor. The pho came out the same time and was good. Nothing to write home about though. The name is deceiving cause you think you'll get in and out quickly but that is not the case. Probably won't be back to this location. read more

I'm not sure if it's sign of the times or I came in on a bad day, but some items were not available, and I was told that the combination is out of tendons. The taste and texture of the noodles and meat itself were OK, but this was the only time I've ever been served pho without basil leaves (only sprigs of cilantro and bean sprouts), and the broth was lukewarm. read more

The last time I was here, every table in the place was dirty with dishes and food just sitting on the table. I literally had to ask someone to bus the table. And tonight I came in to grab me a to go and every table in the place is dirty with dishes and food just sitting. The guy in the back just brings out the food and leaves all the dishes sitting on the table. The blonde behind the counter is not even remotely concerned about cleaning the dining room so customers can sit and enjoy a meal. Very disappointing. The foods good or don't would seem. Makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. read more

I understand its COVID-19, but at the same time, when someone orders the same thing two days in a row, and you don't tell the customer that items for the pho are missing; instead, you expect the customer to accept it, when you know you are in the wrong!! Furthermore, I called this place right after I got my order to speak to a manager, and the cashier said no one was there. Ok, what kind of business operates without a manager there. I know they were there. They just didn't want to get on the phone. This was always my to place, but it looks like I will have to find a new one. read more

The only thing consistent about this place is being consistently let down. Used to be amazing. Now they always mess up my orders. SUPER SLOW. For the price I shouldn't have to realize my order is effed when I'm home. LONG WAIT TIMES. They only hire incompetent slow people. How hard is it to be just a little more effective. I invite you to go into the restroom. If their restroom is disgusting with diluted soap, just imagine how their kitchen is. Diluted soap! Absolutely disgusting. There is no product consistency. It's really sad because it used to be amazing and I've been giving them chances over the years, but I'm finally done. I will never go to them ever again. I will tell everyone who asked me to go. I'm so tired of wasting my time, money, and being let down. I'm done. I'd rather eat food because I know at least that's consistent. read more

The Brisket Pho and Lumpia are always great. I never have any issue other than parking which SUCKS! SUCKS! SUCKS! During lunch especially. Located in a small busy corner off the freeway; this Pho Tre Bien Express has limited parking space in a busy shopping/gas center. The location is very small and meant to be an express experience but most of the seating is always filled with customers waiting for their to go orders. The food is good when it's good but the quality is not consistent. Not the best Vietnamese food offered in El Paso. I have tried to give this place many chances especially living in the NE with limited vegan/vegetarian options but the consistency is not there to bargain with my time, appetite, and money. Please beware; I would like to note that if you are vegan/vegetarian the pho broth is meat broth. I am unsure if they have made a note of it yet with their menu but definitely is misleading with it being a vegetarian option when it is in fact not a vegetarian option with the meat broth used. read more

This place used to be good but it's definitely gone downhill. This time I ordered ahead 20+ minutes and still waited over 30 mins for it to be ready sitting inside And on top of that I got super spoiled nasty sprouts. That's my favorite part of pho too. other food I ordered was fine but curry was super oily. Not a bad flavor though. I've had other ridiculously long wait times there but the spoiled food was it for me this time. Finding a new place to go read more

Food is always good, parking is shared with other stores in the strip mall so it gets crowded. Usually at lunchtime during the week.

My grandma has gone for years for the boba. Finally got to go for food! We got the pork with rice and grilled shrimp with rice. I called in and picked up. Since it was lunch time it was a 25 minute wait but since I called in I knew how to time it. FYI they don't make your boba until you get there! They were short staffed at the front so the line moved a little slow- but again it's lunch, I expect things to be busy. This is the express location so seating is limited- most orders are pickup. The food is excellent and I look forward to trying more menu items! read more

We walked in at 8:00 p.m., girl at the register said you just made it in time to dine in. Sat down and made a comment "I want to leave early, but I can't" . Also, 4 people ahead of us who placed their order sitting down. At 8:50 she came to our table to let us know that they closed at 9:00. People wonder why their businesses never make it. I am shocked they belong to the Pho Tre Bien system. Very sad. Food wasn't up to other Pho Tre Bien standards. read more

I had love for the Tre Bien chain but the banh mi (sandwich) I had today was horrible. The pate tasted funky and sour like it was spoiled and i'm concerned i just got food poisoning. I had three bites and had to throw it away. The baguette was stale , the 'pickled carrot/jicama' that should be called 'corn syrup carrot/jicama' was hfcs sweet and soggy. I ordered the viet special, which is ham and headcheese. instead of headcheese, they used viet meatball, which was old and like crusted over dry. Not even using the right meat, how dumb do you think your customers are? all these corners cut suggest that this isn't a popular dish. that isn't an excuse to serve customers food that is passed expired. the $1.50 banh mi in LA is way fresher than the $6 banh mi here. the head chef really needs to get some quality control going on. I also had the brisket and rare steak pho, which was served without onion in the soup or basil on the side. the errors just rampaged. however, one good thing i'll say is that the brisket was really good, like fresh bbq brisket, not the usual boiled kind. read more

Food was 20 mins late! Girl was on her phone the whole time. Never again! The rest of our food was cold

This is our first time in El Paso and first experienced with Pho Tre Bien Express. I called and ordered for spring rolls. Unfortunately, I came to the wrong location, and this my fault. So I made a new order of pork and shrimp spring rolls. I asked them if they have egg-drop-soup, and they said they do. Even when I carefully showed the chef the picture of the soup that I want. My soup is ready in 15 minutes. And I had to wait 20 more minutes to get my spring rolls. (WHY SOUP COME BEFORE APPETIZER?) I ended up receiving a salty broth with two raw eggs, noddles and vegetables were on the side (almost $9.74) The spring rolls came out with some shrimp shells left over. ($7.78) And there was no pork add-in. I wondered why this restaurant is busy... is it because there are not a lot of Vietnamese restaurants around? Dear, the owner of Pho Tre Bien, I know that you are too busy to manage four business in one time. But please make good management of your own business. Pretty good! It was a lot of food for a good price. Couldn't eat it all. We were the only customers in there during most of our stay. Right when we were leaving the place got flooded with people. The only reason they're not getting 5 stars is because we ordered takeout & the food was late. My husband was in there for like 30 min. (We ordered from the website & got there about 15 min after ordering) & then they told him they were out of steak (we both ordered the rare steak & brisket pho). They only gave us brisket. There was people that walked in after us & they got out first. Other than that the food was amazing! It was my hubby's first time getting pho & he loves it now. read more
