This by far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in El Paso! I am a little dumbfounded with myself that I have yet to write a review about this place. It is THE go to spot for my wife and I. It is the type of place we go to as a food refuge. A place where you go to in order to enjoy and immerse yourself into something as the "best of!" You go there to "take care of business" (i.e. a food craving). You think of nothing else while you're there, but just savoring the food. No talk, no eye contact, just indulgence. I guess this explains no review until now. No longer dumbfounded. Hmmm, go figure. This is the place that you go to for the phó. The best broth in town. Healthy meat portions and fresh herbal accoutrement. Look, here's the deal: Just go! You won't be disappointed. Try everything on the menu. They do everything well. I have tried a few Vietnamese restaurants in El Paso and this has been the best so far. The Pho was delicious and priced well. We enjoyed the fried wontons as an appetizer and the veggies were fresh. The food came out rather quickly as well. You can order a small or large portion, which is perfect if you have kids. Our waiter Christian was phenomenal. He was kind and attentive despite being busy. There is plenty of seating inside but the restaurant was a bit warm inside. The only negative I have is being charged for to go boxes. It was $1.50 but I have never been charged for to go containers and I'm not a fan of it personally. I do look forward to going back and trying other things off their menu. read more

I've had my share of bland overpriced pho and Viet Restaurant is neither of those things. Quick, affordable,and deliciously comforting, this place knows what they're doing. The place is casual and cozy and has tons of tables. The service is friendly and efficient and we were seated immediately. Our party of four got the spring roll appetizer to share (comes with three rolls but one person in our party is allergic to shrimp) and three of us got the pho with eye round steak. The spring roll appetizer is nice and crispy and a good start to the meal. The pho came out piping hot with a standard plate of beansprouts, lime, and cilantro. We were so hungry and the pho was so good that all of us scarfed it down without taking a picture (oops!). Just remember to ask for the chili oil (which they don't have on the table) because it gives the broth an extra layer of depth. I'm still praying that a great affordable pho spot will magically materialize itself near me, but until then I'll be thinking of this bowl of pho. read more

My wife and I visited Viet with our family on a Wednesday Evening, around 6 PM. It was fairly busy with half of the restaurant's tables being filled. They do have large and small table options and our party of 7 was able to get seated right away. My wife and I shared a meal--we ordered a rice vermicelli plate: the plate included rice vermicelli with charbroiled beef, a grilled shrimp skewer and an egg roll. In addition to the plate we ordered an order of spring rolls which were filled with shrimp and a variety of vegetables. The food was delicious and it was perfect for 2. My wife and I were looking for a meal that evening that wasn't going to make us feel super full or bloated, this meal was it!! The shrimp and beef was well-seasoned and the egg roll was also very flavorful. It came with a tangy sauce that we drizzled all over. It was a perfect combination. This is a hidden vietnamese gem in the upper east side / 375 loop area. The broth is authentic and traditional. It has a perfect balance layering delicate flavors like ginger, fish sauce, marrow-rich beef bones and beef knuckle bones into each spoonful. The service was very attentive and friendly. It's been a while since I've had a good bowl of Pho, and what better time of year to try this spot than in the winter. It was recommended by my Vietnamese nail technician, so I had high hopes that she knew what was up! Upon entering we weren't sure what to do, so I asked and was told we could seat ourselves. It's such a great soup to have if feeling under the weather. Bone broth is excellent for health and the fresh ingredients (basil, jalapeños, bean sprouts, and lime) are just what the body needs, not to mention the warmth just gives all the good feels! My husband tried it and said it was good too. He ordered the Vietnamese fried rice and thought it was decent enough to eat again. I tried it and agree. Their spicy beef pho or Bún Bò Huế is a spicy Vietnamese noodle soup that is absolutely addictive! I personally consider it to be one of the best noodle soups in the world. I know everyone goes for the well-loved traditional pho, bun to be the Bun Bo hue is where it's at. It takes time to prepare a good broth and this restaurant takes around 16 hours to prepare the base of the soup. Although I haven't tried every spot, this is my favorite Viet spot in El Paso. After going there the first time, I haven't tried any other spots. They offer the main Viet dishes that every restaurant should have and they make them well! I don't tend to order pho, so I can't say too much about their soup, but their rice dishes are great! They serve good portion sizes with a good price. There is a lot of seating and parking, so we've never had to wait that long either. read more

We also have a friend in our group with celiac disease (gluten allergy) and she was able to order from this menu. The staff were very accommodating and accepted our reservation a few days in advance. Awesome pho broth. Get the large- it isn't that much more. I got the normal garnish of basil, jalapeños, bean sprouts and bonus cilantro to make my soup next level. What was so yummy was the iced vietnamese coffee. Service was good. The lady making the iced coffees let me take a picture of the coffee they use also. Looking for lunch in all the wrong places; found this -great- Vietnamese place after the former veggie buffet place across the street seemed to have gone hipster instead of good, telling me they were closed when they were clearly open for business (their loss). Ordered spring rolls and pho, both from the vegetarian menu on the back of the roughly eight page dine-in menu. Pho had veggie broth (by my request, and actually offered on the menu), and the spring rolls had tofu. Both had the tofu fried (was given the option for fried or non-fried) and were not skimpy with any of the ingredients. Both were plentifully-sized portions, and tasted great; I left feeling really full. Service was speedy and attentive. Decor was all tables and chairs (no booths), and the chop sticks are all disposable, but good and long (unlike some). Restroom was clean. Seems like a place to come as you are or to come in your finest attire, with both (and in-between) being acceptable. Not quiet or overly intimate, but able to hear others at the same table. Parking is in a parking lot, and the restaurant is in a strip mall. I wish they had a few more items on the menu, and that their bubble tea flavors were more plentiful. That said, I'll -happily- eat here again when in El Paso. Four stars out of five, only because I've had slightly better Vietnamese food before in other cities, but the food here is definitely no slouch. read more

There are a few places to get Vietnamese food in town, and everyone will have their own preference, but if you ask me, and when it comes specifically to Phô, THIS is the only place you'll find me. I absolutely love the Phô here. Top notch. And their fried rice to be honest. I normally order both. Whether I'm eating alone, or meeting friends here, this place is always a hit; never a miss. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The TVs are always on and playing something worth watching (I mention this because I eat alone a lot), and they even have my favorite Thai Tea with boba! A huge plus. As per standard operations, each table has a bottle of Sriracha that I use to flood my Phô (I like it spicy). Prices are very fair. Food is always fresh and quality. The place does get busy though (a sign of how good it is), so try to go during off-peak hours of you want to just sit and chill for awhile, while eating. read more

When visiting, this is one of our favorite El Paso restaurants. We have eaten here pre, during, and post-ish (things opening back up) Covid. On our latest visit, they did not disappoint. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted and told to find a seat where we would be comfortable. Although the restaurant was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon a waitress came straight over and took drink orders as well as delivered menus. What I truly enjoy about this restaurant from beginning to end, is how fresh everything tastes. From the Thai iced tea to the entrees. On top of that, they have the best customer service! Since I visited multiple times my recommendations are to start with the spring rolls; shrimp is my favorite. Next, a pork or beef vermicelli. The chicken pho was so absolutely delicious!!!! To start, our waitress was so sweet and kind. She came around three times to refill our water and we weren't even here that long. With the hot hot days you can get here in El Paso, it was definitely a welcomed visit each time she refilled our water. She has an amazing attitude and was wonderful to have little chats with when she stopped by to check on us. Our food came out so quick and was so fresh and delicious! Vegetarian/Vegan Options: #47 tofu spring rolls - a great starter to enjoy! So refreshing with the peanut sauce provided! #48 The pho Chay can be served with veggie broth or meat broth. You also have the option of having steamed tofu or fried which is a great option as we each have our preferred preference. Standard serving which is fulfilling with the veggies served and to top it off they also serve Thai basil with the garnishes they provide, unlike other pho restaurants in the area. #49 another family favorite which is a tofu lemon grass rice vermicelli dish. If you like lemon grass this is a refreshing dish to enjoy! #50 tofu and veggies with rice dish. The classic tofu and veggies with white rice cannot go wrong! A favorite for our younger children. #51 is my personal favorite and go to which is a stir fried rice noodles and tofu dish. I love pad Thai so it is like their spin of their own noodle dish. For meat eaters: My husband loves their Banh Mi Viet Sandwiches!! We are from the Bay Area where diversity and authentic food thrives in such a melting pot! He says it's the best he has ever had so that says a lot! We arrived at the restaurant at around 9:15 and they were closing at 10:00. We were seated immediately, and received our menu. The service was fairly quick, considering there was only 2 servers and a pretty busy lobby. The pho was good the broth tasted a bit like Filipino nilaga. We got the steak, tendon and tripe( no. 14) The Banh mi was delicious! It's the pork bbq, it was so flavorful. I will probably get the bbq pork plate next time. The bun Bo hue was also delicious although I was a bit disappointed it didn't have congealed blood with it. Maybe it's not for everyone so it's safer for the restaurant not to serve it. That's the reason I gave a 4 ); I want to go back and try something else and give a proper 5! I saw Thai tea on the menu and different flavor of boba so that's my next victim!
