This was my second time here, I ordered the fish sauce wings, brisket and flank small pho and pork steam rice dumpling. I didn't care for the pork steam rice dumpling, only took two bites and left it there. I let the server know I didn't like it that's why it was still there. Good food, but concerning service experience The pho is always delicious, so it's disappointing that we've had such inconsistent service. We've been here a few times when it's just the two of us and have been served fine. But last night we went with a friend and had a very different experience. We walked in and were completely ignored by staff--no greeting, no menu, nothing. Other customers who arrived after us were immediately attended to. We waited 15 minutes with zero acknowledgment from anyone on the staff. The entire time we were there, staff seemed to be watching us rather than helping us. When we left, they just stared as we walked out. What stood out to us is how differently we were treated. When we come in alone, service is normal. But yesterday when we came in with our friend--who is a gay man--we were completely ignored while other customers were immediately greeted. We're concerned this wasn't coincidence. read more

It tasted fresh; the small bowl is actually decent size and easy to finish. Liked the amount of meat given with the pho; it was well balanced. Good overall ratio of broth, noodle, veggies and meat. Split the Korean bbq short rib and rice with a friend which was very good and liked the amount provided. Would try this again, however, this is a pho place. Love Pho is the new kid on the block here in the westside. I'm not sure how many times I've driven by but...I knew I wanted to try it when it opened. It's like 2 minutes away from my house! We did a pickup order on their second day of being open. The young man who took my order over the phone was polite and kind. I had a few questions about what to order and he answered them. I ordered a rolled pork sandwich, shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice. Since they have a meatball pho, I was hoping they had a meatball sandwich but unfortunately they didn't. I'm not really a fan of pho so I wanted something else to eat. Yes, I go to a pho restaurant and usually order something different! I'm that weirdo! :) My bf went to pick up the order. I told him Love Pho was in the same shopping center as Supreme Laundry. I guess he forgot or didn't hear me so he went to another nearby shopping center! He finally found it! Unfortunately, some of the order wasn't ready to go when he got there. The young man on the phone told me it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. It took about 45 minutes for it to be ready. I know they just opened so I'm keeping that in mind with this review. Also, their system that takes orders wasn't working that well. That sucks! The good news is that the order was 50 percent off! At Love Pho again to try their vegetarian tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce. Her sauce has hints of coconut. Very tasty! One of my favorite items is the rice paper with patty roll. It's super refreshing and her sauce is amazing. I literally want to drink it up. Wow, I haven't had good Vietnamese food in Texas for a while now. This has went beyond my expectations. I got the shrimp spring rolls, they were generous on the protein. The food and flavor profile was superb! The woman answering the phone did not take my order correctly. I asked for the banh mi cha lua and she was adamant that it was the "steam pork". Love Pho just another mediocre tasting Pho spot in town. If you go, don't expect to write home about anything. It also took me quite a long time to get my food but I am putting that the sheer amount of people that came with us to try it out (literally had a group of 20 which they were not staffed well enough for.) The only thing that seemed good were the egg rolls. For a reference, I got the pho with rare beef and meatballs. The beef was actually rare when it came out which is nice and the meatballs were warm unlike many restaurants here but that standard is obviously very low. The taste was almost nothing. The broth was under salted and lacked any flavor at all and was surprisingly lukewarm when it came out. I put some Sriracha in it to try to give it some taste but even that didn't help it and actually made it taste weird. I doubt I will be coming back but if I do I will be trying something besides the pho. read more

If you love Pho, I hands down recommend this spot here. I have never seen a spot here in EP that serves dim sum and chicken feet served of course Asian style. Typically you'd have to travel out of town to get something like this. The dim sum is limited but my goodness was so good and the chicken feet let me tell you if you haven't tried it!! GGOOO... !! Ok it was beyond delicious. The pho of course was great. I will definitely be coming back. Honestly I think this is going to be my favorite PHO spot in EP. The owner was very sweet as well and so passionate about his restaurant and menu. I'm even more glad that this is located in the northeast 5022 Dyer St, El Paso, TX. If you live far, I promise you it's worth the drive. I've never been so satisfied with a pho spot here and especially with the menu - due to it not being pretty much the same menu choices as every other spot here.
