Superb performance Pho broth. Good portions and quick friendly service . The server even checked with us later if we were enjoying our meal . One of the best pho places in vancouver hands down. I also enjoyed their deep fried chicken appetizer.

Got a banh mi from this neighbourhood restaurant and although it wasn't bad, there was definitely nothing that stood out other than the crispy bread (which was likely purchased from the supermarket next door). There wasnt quite enough chicken in the banh mi and their picked veggies did not have very much flavour. It was an average price at 5.50 but you can't expect too much from a place that doesn't specialize in banh mis! Overall, I would return due to how close it is but probably not for a banh mi.

Vegetable pho (with veggie broth; vegan)

Very bland vegetable pho, but a good portion and tons of veggies. I stopped in to try their vegetable pho (you have to ask for veggie broth; $13.50). The soup came out in about 5 minutes. You get a massive portion of medium width rice noodles and a huge portion of veggies (broccoli, bok choy, green cabbage, carrot and onion) -- no tofu though, which would've been nice. The broth was very mild, without much depth at all. At least they had homemade chili oil sitting on the side to amp things up, which does make it pretty nice. Loved that I got so many veggies, but would've liked some tofu and a more interesting broth. OK veggie pho; there are many better places in Greater Van.

No desire to come back unfortunately. Stopped by cause my family and I were in the area. Food was decent nothing really stood out. My Stepmom's grilled lemongrass chicken vermicelli looked dried as heck and she confirmed it was extremely over cooked and flavourless. They also forgot to give her fish sauce. Bbh was basically a beef pho with a tint of mildest spice and bland in flavour. Their salad rolls were wrapped nicely and thick but very little prawn mostly filler like vermicelli and shredded carrots. The tea cups were dirty so that was also off putting. I overheard the older lady working there tell a customer how much to tip and to tip first which was odd and rude.

Special Spring Roll (4 pieces, ate one before taking photo)

I came here looking for a quick dinner after visiting the nearby Fair Haven nursing home at 7 p.m. on a weekday evening, the small space without much room for distancing was almost full. Since I visit nursing home frequently, I waited outside until there was only one table of customers left. I ordered the Steak Garlic Pho as it seemed to be the special dish of this restaurant, I also added a Special Spring Roll. The Steak Garlic Pho was indeed quite good, the steak is tastier than having rare beef in pho. However, because it was near closing time, there was no bean sprouts left. Another disappointment is that some of the noodles stuck together. The Special Spring Roll was also well done, it is tasty but not oily. Both dishes were priced affordably. I will certainly come back to this restaurant again.

Pho Thai Ha is located in the Killarney Centre on 49th and Elliot in Vancouver. I decided to try this place out because the ratings were pretty good and I've been craving banh mi sandwiches again. However, instead of just ordering a banh mi, I also ordered the Garlic Butter Chicken Wings ($12.50). The wings were okay but nothing special. The House Special Viet Sub ($5.50) wasn't the best that I've had. While the baguette was definitely crusty, I found the inside of the bread was almost a bit stale. Also, there really wasn't much meat in the filling (although the price point does make up for that a bit). The price point here is pretty good but there are better options available nearby.

Happened to drive by during dinner time & noticed this tiny Pho place. I haven't got high expectations when I entered only find the place is quite spacious, minimal decor and well-lit in "orange/green" wall. The menu is just like the name, as simple as it can be- in black & white, English only with 2 page, no combos & really not much to choose. I am impressed when my food arrives coz they have put an effort to touch up the presentation and make it look nice on every dish. Taste is alright & definitely not MSG free. Service is a-ok. Price is a little above average. I like the washroom roomy & clean & in "apple" green. All in all, three & half star solid.

Came on a weekday afternoon so there was plenty of room. Service is similar to most pho places. I tired the large chef's special and it was yummy. The broth had more flavor than usual. I think it was infused with garlic. Also, the meat was cooked and marinated which added more flavor. I have yet to try to the other dishes, but was very satisfied with the chef's special pho. Overall, it seems like your usual pho restaurant.

I've had this place bookmarked for the longest time and I have to admit that the only reason why I wanted to eat at this place was because of the restaurant name. The service was alright (it's a small family joint). We walked in about 20 minutes before closing so maybe we caught them by surprise. As usual I ordered my BBH and it was decent. Nothing spectacular but also no complaints. My friend had their regular Pho and loved it. Would I come back? Maybe (it's the only Pho option in this complex.

Clean decor, fast service and delicious food. I find the price bit expensive than other places I've been to. Soup was delicious, fresh and not too salty. I've been waiting for this restaurant to open for a long time and was worth to visit. I'll go back soon.

    Pho and Bun Cha!
    Tú Đ.

THIS PLACE HAS CHANGED TO NEW OWNERS in 2017!!!! it is WAY BETTER!!!!!! Just ate Pho and Bun Cha today at this place, I was born and raised in Hanoi before moving to Canada so I can tell you that Pho here is good. It almost has the same taste of some famous Pho places in Hanoi. I have tried many Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver, I would rank this place as top 3 best Pho in Vancouver. The noodles are wider than the usual Pho in Vancouver, yes, it tastes better, this kind of noodle is more expense that the more rounded noodles that we see in other Vietnamese restaurant. This place bought more expense beefs so the quality is better than others. The toilet is super clean. I would absolutely come back to this place again.

The chili-lime tofu, my go-to, is grilled fresh and juicy with a tangy marinade. I find these bowls very filling, but the price adds up quickly as you add more salad scoops, so I find it best to be conservative with my estimate of how much I think I need to eat. Besides the salad bowls, they have some hot entrees. I tried the Moroccan chickpea hot bowl and the tomato soup and both were a little bland, which was especially disappointing for something labelled "Moroccan". I would go back and try some different entrees to see if anything else is better, but I would say the salads are likely the best choice here. They have a very limited selection of "healthy" baked goods too. I really liked the chocolate pistachio cookie. As you would expect, it's significantly less sweet and has a slightly drier texture than a regular cookie, but if you like that kind of "better for you" treat, it's good. Very cocoa-forward. I've had good experiences with the service. The staff is friendly enough and usually pretty fast. It's counter service, but they'll usually bring your food to you at your table. There's a good amount of seating inside and a few tables outside when the weather allows. It's minimalist but clean.

Korean guy at the front waves at us, asks how many people, and directs us to a seat. Then another Korean guy comes over and scolds us, telling us to next time please wait at the front until being seated. Clearly they have some organizational issues here and not a great start to this visit. We place our order. Food for 2 of our 4 arrive about 10 mins later. The food for the other 2 people arrive another 20 mins later. Meanwhile the food for the first 2 ppl just sit there. Thankfully they were in clay pots so it was still warm at least, but this is ridiculous. There is no reason for this. If you're slow to get food out, fine, but bring it all out at once. The restaurant itself is huge, looks like a lounge and bar but mostly empty. The staff are all dressed differently too in street clothes so its hard to tell who works there. They are clearly struggling with understaffing. We had a caucasian waitress who came by to deliver food. She was very nice and friendly. About the food. We ordered: kimchi soondubu - asked for extra spicy, it was barely spicy. beef/seafood mixed soondubu - asked for spicy, it was straight up not spicy. The broth base was the same for each, and lacked depth of flavour. The tofu itself was pretty good, silky smooth, but tofu takes on the flavours of whatever it's cooked with and in this case, not much... The beef in these was just ok and there wasnt much of it. The seafood in the mixed one amounted to 1 clam and 1 shrimp shell-on. There was nothing else in it. 2/5 for both of these. Gamjatang - medium sized portion, good for 2, maybe 3 people. Meat was ok, broth was not bad. Solid average. 3/5. banchan served with the meals were the biggest disappointment. 2/5. This might be the most disappointing banchan ive had in a Korean restaurant in a long time. They served regular cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, and bean sprouts. thats it. None of them were particularly good (not bad, just nothing great). And for a party of 4, they served a single portion of each banchan for the whole table. We had to ask for refills 3 more times. You have 4 diners, all with food that comes with Banchan normally. Wouldnt it be reasonable to bring out 4 portions of banchan right off the bat? Especially when you're understaffed? Overall: Main dishes 2.5/5. Banchan 2/5 for overall selection and quality. Service 2/5 - really comes down to severe understaffing and really poor management of how the kitchen is run. The staff there do their best but they need help. Venue 3/5. Overall, 2 to 2.5/5. This place might be the worst Korean place on the Robson strip of all the ones Ive been to. That's saying a lot, since Vancouver doesnt have amazing Korean food to begin with, and this is one of the worst of the bunch.
