    Beef teriyaki

I tried the beef teriyaki through door dash. I really wanted to like this place because I love teriyaki and pho but had heard mixed things about this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not good. Plain beef and rice with teriyaki sauce poured on top is not the same as beef teriyaki. Teriyaki is about how ithe meat is cooked. This was a thick layer of rice, covered with a layer of sliced beef that was bland and kinda odd tasting, covered in a tick layer of "teriyaki" sauce. Bummer.

Absolutely! Here's a glowing review for Pho and Teriyaki: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho and Teriyaki, and it was truly a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the inviting ambiance set a relaxing tone for the evening. The staff greeted us with friendly smiles and prompt service, making us feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety of options, showcasing the best of Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. My son chose the classic pho, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The broth was rich and flavorful, packed with aromatic herbs and spices, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The portion size was generous, making it a comforting dish that I savored until the last drop. For my main course, I tried the teriyaki chicken, which was beautifully glazed and grilled to perfection. The balance of sweet and savory flavors was spot on, and it paired wonderfully with the steamed rice and fresh salad. The dressing was mind blowing! It's clear that the chefs take great care in preparing each dish with high-quality ingredients. My husband had the orange chicken and it was absolutely fantastic as well. Beyond anything we have had before. My youngest, age 6, got the Tonkatsu chicken and everyone at the table agreed it was the absolute best! While breading was crispy and light. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful. Overall, Pho and Teriyaki exceeded my expectations with its delicious food, attentive service, and cozy atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for a warm bowl of pho or a flavorful teriyaki dish, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

I heard that this place was under new ownership so I decided to try it out! The food was excellent and came quickly. I would describe the portion size as "average", but it was adequate for lunch and was not expensive.

Had dirty utensils mixed with clean ones and tables were dirty.

Would give 0 stars but that's not an option. Our order was wrong, ordered pho w/meatballs for extra $3.99 for 4 pieces (2 meatballs that he forgot to add and it only had like 6 small pieces of steak), got a teriyaki chicken was dry and rice was cold the only thing warm was the gyoza. He had visitors when we went in and they sat at the table before making it into the kitchen. Fyi dirty utensils and dirty tables. The health department needs to come and check this place out!

I'd give this a 3.5 if I could, but I believe a 4.0 is more deserving than a 3.0. The inside is run down, somewhat of a typical "out of the way" restaurant. The few times I've went, I ordered the same pho broth with either beef, shrimp or chicken. This time I ordered the beef rare, but I couldn't tell the difference between the rare & well done. My brother ordered the teriyaki chicken w rice, he gave it a "7 or 8.0/10". The portion was good everytime I ate inside the restaurant but this time they were almost at closing time, so we waited about 20-25 min for takeout. The portions were almost outrageous for the $13 price point. I had about 6 thin small slices of beef & the container to go was probably half the size of the bowls I would get awhile ago when I'd eat at a table, there was a good amount of noodles though. The chicken teriyaki w rice had probably $7-8 amount of portion for $13 also. - The reason I put down a 4/5 stars is because, besides the complaints I've stated, the ambience of this tucked away food joint gives me a nostalgic feeling, I enjoyed the times I've been here where there were barely any folk inside. I never found any hairs, any flys or eggs in my food, I was satisfied with the service & the broth was (as always) the star of the show. I can't lie, when I judge the food (price & portion) & this restaurant based on appearance, it gives me low expectations... but as soon as you get comfortable, as soon as you start mixing in your ingredients/condiments into the broth & start to chow down... your perspective begins to morph into what I believe this restaurant offers, a heart full of gratitude for the ambience, an appreciation for the time it takes to make this broth & a belly full of delicious Pho

    Sweet & Sour Chicken

3.5 Stars due to price Haven't been here for a while, and I decided to get something different. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken for takeout. The chicken was moist, tender, and flavorful with the perfect amount of sauce. The rice was sticky and a bit chewy (how I like it). And the lettuce for the side salad was chopped up into manageable size pieces (last time it was just big leaves). While the meal was great, I feel like $14.12 (total) is simply too expensive for the amount of food you get. For the same price, I could get a Bento meal from Nami with much more food/greater variety or go to the Wonderful buffet and eat as much as I possibly could. For $8-10, I could buy a plate (2 entrees/side) @ Panda Express where they stuff full the same take-out container to it's max capacity. Because of this, I wouldn't order this meal again unless it was at or below $10.

Chicken Katsu vegetable fried rice and far is what we ordered tonight.

I am sad to say that I have grown disappointed of this restaurant. It was one of the closest and go to for restaurants that me and my family would dine in. Over the years, we've noticed possible changes in management. Sometimes it would be for the good, but tonight was the fair opposite. My fried chicken Katsu tasted of frozen chicken. I was very disappointed. That dish was $13.99, and you would think that for frozen food it would be less than that. The two beef Phô bowls that we ordered, was about $10.99 and only had three pieces of beef.

I found this " vegetable and tofu" roll the most bland I've had. No herb, sauce , crunch.... I am a fresh roll lover, so a little discerning, but this was truly flavorless. Tofu, rice noodles, leaf lettuce and rice paper. Thats it. Like eating a carrier for too little peanut sauce. The pho was filling and came with a plate of bean sprouts referred to as "the vegetables" . The Vietnamese coffee was tasty but presentation awkward. It came as Condensed milk in a cup with a pour- over atop this and the separate glass of ice. I'm no expert in this ritual but I am accustomed to having the milk cold in the ice and the brewed coffee in a spouted vessel for easy pouring into the iced milk. Here we had to mix the brewed coffee, then add it dribbling and spilling to the ice. No big deal but awkward. It tasted good. The prices were reasonable and parking a lot shared with the strip mall . Not within the restaurant's control , but in circling for a spot around one lane, I was nearly backed into by not 2 not 3 but 4 cars. I think I recall a cannabis shop being in the mall or nearby. This may explain that. The service was friendly throughout. The place was empty but the time was odd. I don't think we'd return based upon the fresh rolls alone.
