Awesome food, lots of choices. Freshly made and the restaurant is very clean. Not your typical hole in the wall pho joint. Will return!

This is my go to place for pho. They have the best lemon grass chicken on rice ($11.50). It's soooo flavourful and the portion is big! You always get two pieces of chicken with rice and some salad on the side. Their pho is also very good, authentic broth and you can't taste the msg although I'm sure they put it in there..... service can be hit n miss. The older lady with blonde hair is really nice, would start a conversation with you but the rest kind of just look like they want to work and go home. Strongly recommend, decent price and very good food!

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch. We ordered two bowls of pho and an iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. We were seated promptly and given menus. Orders were taken as soon as we flagged a server's attention. Then it went downhill from there. Pho arrived in about 15 minutes later. Good portion for the price. Decent amount of meat. Broth tasted light and did not have a strong fish sauce flavour. We asked the server where was the ice coffee and she said it takes time to make the drink. We kept eating until we finished our meal only to see a server drop off iced coffee at a different table. It took the other customer some time to flag the server that it was not his coffee. The server picked up the coffee and proceeded to drop the coffee off to us. At that point, we refused to take the coffee and asked for the item to remove from our bill. We also realized that the coffee was made in the kitchen. Unlike most restaurants, they do not provide a coffee filter to brew the coffee at the table side. Then you would pour the freshly brewed coffee over a glass of condensed milk and mix the two before pouring into a glass of ice. Who knows how fresh that coffee was? And why would it take over 30 minutes to make? The drinks should always be served early into the meal. The servers did not seem to care about the service they provided. I will not return. I suggest Super Pho VN for similarly loaded pho at a better price and service.

This was my second experience with a subpar bun dish. Sadness. First of all parking here is…read moreatrocious during the lunch hour. There are only 5 spots in front of this little strip mall and then the sign on their door says "parking in back." When I drove back there it was labeled a loading area for the party supply store next to the restaurant. There was also a huge sign painted across the fence stating "NO PARKING." I finally parked way down the street and walked over. When I asked the girl working there what the deal with the parking in back was, she went to ask the guy cooking in back. She seemed pretty clueless. Anyway I sat down and she came back to tell me I could park in one area just next to the black car back there, but only one spot is available. Some guys at a table nearby overheard and I could hear them saying "yeah, that's not a good idea. There isn't even room to turn around back there. Someone is likely going to wreck back there." Anyway, I was hungry so I ordered my usual grilled shrimp bun - added bonus were the spring rolls on top. I wasn't a huge fan of the garlic ginger satay on the shrimp skewers but it was edible. The disappointing factor was the vermicelli noodles all clumped together. The fish sauce did nothing to alleviate the problem and the noodles seemed to soak the sauce right up - a good indicator that your noodles are way too dry! On top of the food just being meh, the decor in the restaurant looked like somebody's Grammy got sick and their grandkids took over running the biz. Writing all over the walls in marker really brought the class down in this place. The only girl working there in front was also wearing a see-thru button up shirt tied at the waist with a black bra, belly ring, and tight Lulu yoga leggings. Not something I want to see at lunch. The odd pairing of apparel went right along with the decor of the place. Needless to say, avoid this place. There are too many other good options in BC to waste your time here.

She even checked with us again because she forgot, and I repeatedly mentioned shrimp. But we decided to just eat them since we had already waited so long, even though we were the only new customers and the other two tables were already eating. The egg rolls were extremely greasy, had very little flavor, and barely any filling -- basically just fried rice paper. * I ordered pho with brisket and rare steak, but only got brisket. Again, I had clearly ordered the combo. After a couple spoonfuls, I suddenly felt very sick and nauseous and couldn't eat it. When I mentioned it to the staff, they suggested maybe it was "too spicy" or that I "didn't like the shrimp paste taste." I've been eating all kinds of pho for over 30+ years, so that definitely wasn't the issue. Also, the broth lacked depth and flavor and the color of the meat was weird - like grayish blue? (see photo). * They also never brought bean sprouts or the usual pho garnishes to our table, so I assumed they just didn't serve them. But every table seated after us received them with their pho. * The pork banh mi was just okay. The pickled radish was way too sweet, and there was no cilantro. * FYI: they do not provide cilantro. The place got busy with four more tables with 2+ people and the server seemed new, but service was very disorganized overall. Food took so long and we never even got a refill on our tea. However, the place is clean and bright.
