It's official - Simply Pho is my favourite Pho place! Nobody does it like them - their food is clean, delicious, affordable and their service is always incredible! We never get tired of it and we noticed their cleanliness and quality service is always consistent! My beef brisket and rare beef pho was amazing! My other half loved his pork and spring rolls vermicelli bowl. We simply love this place!

How on Earth does this place have 4.5 stars? We arrived for lunch on a Sunday, there were several tables, but we were seated promptly. This place is strange - a faux Vietnamese restaurant run by white people for white people. I don't think there was a single Vietnamese person in the restaurant. We were served large glasses of hot tea, weird, but welcome as we were pretty thirsty. We ordered some spring rolls, a large bowl of rare beef pho, and tofu vermicelli. The spring rolls arrived but were only cut into two pieces, which are too heavy to handle with chopsticks. This is why other Vietnamese restaurants cut them into four pieces. They tasted ok though. The waitress also dropped off a small plate containing bean sprouts, fresh basil, and a sad decomposing lime slice (the kitchen tried to cut the decomposing area off, but didn't get it all - see photo. Eww.). My dining partner's tofu vermicelli arrived, and she was disappointed to find that it didn't come with the sauce for pouring over the vermicelli, nor did it have chopped peanuts. Again, weird. The noodles were not actually vermicelli noodles, they were much thicker, and unlike any we've had before. Strange. She had to add table condiments to the dish since she found it bland. My rare beef pho never arrived. After waiting for 15 minutes or so, I flagged the waitress down, and she claimed the kitchen must have missed it. That's understandable, mistakes happen, but it would have been a non-issue had the waitress been doing her job. The problem is that she never returned to our table to check that things were ok after the one dish arrived, nor did she didn't realize that one dish was missing. She ultimately offered me the pho for free, saying "it only takes two minutes", but that just highlighted what an utter fail this experience was. Dining partner requested a box to take the rest of her meal home, and the take out box never arrived. By this point we just wanted to get out of there, so told her to forget about the pho. I went next door to Donair Affair and grabbed my lunch there. Overall a very disappointing experience. Was looking forward to a hot bowl of soup on a cold day, but our Sunday lunch was ruined by several staff incompentencies. With hundreds of excellent Vietnamese restaurants in the lower mainland, I can't imagine we will ever return to this joke of a restaurant.

Ordered take out and was so amaze of their packaging, I like that they separate all the additional side in one container and the soup is separated from the noodles, meat and veggies. The soup was so tasty even after it cooled down and we need to reheat it. We also had the lemon grass chicken which is definitely savoury, lemony and gingerly tasty.

I'm heading to Vietnam in a few weeks and it's like my belly knows because I've been craving Vietnamese food so much in the last few days. I didn't want to travel far to get it, so I hopped on Yelp and saw that Simply Pho was open close by. The good thing: it was only a 3 minute drive from my house. Simply Pho opened up within the last year, but this was my first time visiting. Keep in mind, this review is based on a take out experience. I called to place my order and the staff member on the phone was polite and efficient, making sure to repeat my order back to me. I ordered the #33: vermicelli bowl with lemongrass chicken and deep fried spring roll and the prawn salad spring rolls. Wow, the portions were generous! I couldn't even finish it (but, it'll be great for lunch tomorrow!). The lemongrass chicken was delicious and the spring rolls were filling! I'd happily order both of these dishes again. Now that this spot is on my radar, I'll be visiting more often!

My friends and I came here after a wedding rehearsal at Tsawassen Springs and Simply Pho was a convenient 5 minute drive away. We had a large party of 8 adults and 4 kids and we came an hour before closing, but the staff there were super accommodating and welcoming. Simply Pho is a family run business, with Mom at the back cooking and prepping the food and the Daughter in the front managing the tables and service. Even with our large table, she was very organized and polite and everything was done correctly. I had the brisket and beef ball pho. The broth was one of the best I ever had from a restaurant - I've had traditional homemade pho broth and this hit the mark! So much richness and depth in flavour. The noodles were perfectly al dente and the MEAT! There was so much meat! There were layers of thinly sliced, tender brisket. Our spring rolls were crispy and filled with tender and yummy pork filling, with a dip in the fish sauce that fulfills your spring roll craving. They aren't skimpy on their ingredients and they definitely aren't skimpy on their hospitality. Atmosphere and decor is fresh and bright. Service was quick and clean. Lots of free parking and they accept credit cards. Overall, I simply love Simply Pho!

We found this place last yr when working in the area. Been a few times now and it seems to run quite smoothly, at least when we were there Food comes out quickly, with a real fresh flavour. Great soup, broth is very good & not too salty only thing is no ginger sauce. Salad rolls were some of the best ever. Can't get enough of the peanut sauce, it's the best part !! Nice clean open space, great stop for lunch. Really nice place with good food, we will be back for sure.

I was shopping in the area and decided to stop by here for lunch instead of the busy food court at the nearby mall. There was plenty of parking. The restaurant was not busy with only a couple tables of customers. We shared a house special pho ($10.95) and a grilled lemongrass chicken and deep fried spring rolls vermicelli bowl ($12.95). Food arrived quickly after we placed our order. The pho broth was pretty good. It was light without being greasy. There was a lot of noodles and toppings. The vermicelli bowl was made well. Chicken was flavourful. Deep fried spring roll was good although I prefer the rice wrapper over the wheat wrapper. Restaurant was clean and spacious. Restrooms were clean although they did not have a kids change table. There were kids high chairs available. Prices are a bit higher but food portions are filling.

There are only 5 spots in front of this little strip mall and then the sign on their door says "parking in back." When I drove back there it was labeled a loading area for the party supply store next to the restaurant. There was also a huge sign painted across the fence stating "NO PARKING." I finally parked way down the street and walked over. When I asked the girl working there what the deal with the parking in back was, she went to ask the guy cooking in back. She seemed pretty clueless. Anyway I sat down and she came back to tell me I could park in one area just next to the black car back there, but only one spot is available. Some guys at a table nearby overheard and I could hear them saying "yeah, that's not a good idea. There isn't even room to turn around back there. Someone is likely going to wreck back there." Anyway, I was hungry so I ordered my usual grilled shrimp bun - added bonus were the spring rolls on top. I wasn't a huge fan of the garlic ginger satay on the shrimp skewers but it was edible. The disappointing factor was the vermicelli noodles all clumped together. The fish sauce did nothing to alleviate the problem and the noodles seemed to soak the sauce right up - a good indicator that your noodles are way too dry! On top of the food just being meh, the decor in the restaurant looked like somebody's Grammy got sick and their grandkids took over running the biz. Writing all over the walls in marker really brought the class down in this place. The only girl working there in front was also wearing a see-thru button up shirt tied at the waist with a black bra, belly ring, and tight Lulu yoga leggings. Not something I want to see at lunch. The odd pairing of apparel went right along with the decor of the place. Needless to say, avoid this place. There are too many other good options in BC to waste your time here.

I found this " vegetable and tofu" roll the most bland I've had. No herb, sauce , crunch.... I am a fresh roll lover, so a little discerning, but this was truly flavorless. Tofu, rice noodles, leaf lettuce and rice paper. Thats it. Like eating a carrier for too little peanut sauce. The pho was filling and came with a plate of bean sprouts referred to as "the vegetables" . The Vietnamese coffee was tasty but presentation awkward. It came as Condensed milk in a cup with a pour- over atop this and the separate glass of ice. I'm no expert in this ritual but I am accustomed to having the milk cold in the ice and the brewed coffee in a spouted vessel for easy pouring into the iced milk. Here we had to mix the brewed coffee, then add it dribbling and spilling to the ice. No big deal but awkward. It tasted good. The prices were reasonable and parking a lot shared with the strip mall . Not within the restaurant's control , but in circling for a spot around one lane, I was nearly backed into by not 2 not 3 but 4 cars. I think I recall a cannabis shop being in the mall or nearby. This may explain that. The service was friendly throughout. The place was empty but the time was odd. I don't think we'd return based upon the fresh rolls alone.
