Excellent Vietnamese restaurant by my standards. I eat Vietnamese once a week in Atlanta and this restaurant is slightly better than my favorite spot. Stopped in for lunch and I ordered a Pho dish, no. 23, recommended by the waitress. Delicious. Very lean cuts of flank steak no fat!! Just enough veggies to not be overwhelming. Location is really off the beaten path in the landslide of Daytona immediately after crossing the causeway. My only constructive criticism was using a clean but danky mens restroom. I recommend avoiding the disgusting American greasy spoon options and trying something different for lunch. This place is a HIDDEN GEM, that I will return to. read more

This is the second time I have ordered and received the wrong order. I was not given a refund or sent anything new. This is for a delivery for a friend who just had surgery and now they are without food. As they do not eat animal products. This is not a pho place. It's more of a Chinese noodle and whatever it's around the kitchen to make a bowl of noodles. They should renamed it and call it like a chef choice noodle or whatever but it's not pho. read more

My family ordered pho and received what was just canned beef stock with 2-week- old meat and overcooked noodles. It was worse than instant pho. My brother ordered clay pot rice and it tasted like rice drenched with hoison sauce. The service made things even more terrible. The girls never acknowledged us and just shoved the food at us. We had to move ourselves to a new table because their air condition system was leaking liquid onto our table. When the waiter saw us move she angrily wiped the table down and approached us more rudely later on. Highly do not recommend this place!!!! read more

This place has average food, and the absolute worse service in Central Florida! Our party of four arrived on a Saturday night right at 5pm. We each ordered a dinner (4 meals total). Two of the guests at our table received their dinners at 5:20pm, the other two meals came out FORTY FIVE MINUTES LATER, just after 6pm. By the time the last two dinners came out, our table guests were already done eating. During the course of the missing two meals, the staff refused to pay attention to us - not refilling our waters, not acknowledging our waving hands, acting like they were "busy" (obviously NOT busy making our meals). Once the meals came out, I asked to speak with the owner who REFUSED to discount or comp our meal ticket, not understanding why we took issue that our table's meals were served 45 minutes apart. The fact that I even had to ASK for their apology to be reflected on the check was ridiculous. Even a corporate/ chain restaurant would have been proactive and provided a free drink, dessert, discount, SOMETHING. This was easily the worst dinner experience we've ever had and they will certainly not be receiving our business in the future. (And lastly, this place has TERRIBLE parking). read more

The food is definitely a 4 but the place itself docks a star. The food is very good - the pho is flavorful (although they skimp on the toppings they bring out on the side), the beef summer rolls and delicious and some of the other noodle dishes we've had have been tasty as well. The place itself needs to be nuked. It's extremely run down and dirty - the walls are covered in spills and disgusting looking stains that literally made me not want to eat. The service, from the initial greeting to our goodbyes were genuine and it felt good to see smiles in the eyes and face. I couldn't decide so I ordered a few appetizers and my husband ordered a meal. In Daytona, this is my go-to vietnamese restaurant. My colleagues and I make it our business to come here whenever we're in town. Lots of choices on the menu. The ingredients are fresh. In my bowl of Pho, I can count on my veggies still have a slight crisp when I bite into them. No soggy mess here! For appetizer, we usually start with their bacon wrapped shrimp and Spring Rolls. After that it's either their large bowl of traditional Pho. This past week, I went with their fried rice. It had plenty of chicken, veggies, pork, and was made to perfection. Oh my goodness! How could they keep this business going? First of all, we walked in and the Caucasian guy asked, "what do you want?" Instead of seating us or taking our order. Secondly, who the hell cooked the broth?! No flavor and it is lacking lots of flavors and has a gaming taste to it. My rice noodle was mixed with yellow noodle. It was the worse noodle I've ever had! While the summer rolls are still the best I've had in the state, or perhaps anywhere, even, the pho itself this time was not impressive at all. The chicken seemed to be a poor cut and the noodles were stuck together as if they'd been cooked some time ago and left in a bowl to dish into orders of pho when those orders came in, which may be exactly what happened and would be fine except the noodles were overcooked and mushy--like store-bought ones instead of homemade. We visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day, only because we arrived in town late and felt we would have trouble getting a reservation. This place had a fairly empty parking lot and 4 stars. My husband ordered a large pho dish with mixed noodles, chicken, pork and shrimp. I ordered shrimp stir fried dish with crispy noodles. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. Here is where the minus one star comes in. When I chose what I wanted, a shrimp stir fry, the waiter suggested crispy egg noodles. I had never had them that way and was then excited to try it. He came back to say the dish I ordered didn't come with those noodles. For two dollars more, I could get the dish that did come with with that option, but it had squid, fish ball, and crab. Ok, I decided it was worth it, but please leave out the squid. When my dish arrived, it had only shrimp (6 small ones) and no other fish for the higher price. Also, my husbands original choice was a dish with wontons. The waiter said sorry out of wontons. I saw other reviewers say this happened to them, all different times. Seems they are often out of wontons? But overall, I liked this place enough that I am wanting to go back before I leave next week. read more

I'm gonna start by saying that up until today I never had a problem, but after today I will never return nor refer another customer. Today my boyfriend and I decided we wanted Pho, where else to go other than "Pho Saigon" right? That's what we thought too. I went first ordering a #23 which for those who don't know it's a Steak Pho. I ordered it with extra rice noodles. My boyfriend ordered a #24 which is a Steak and Flank Pho. We got our food rather quickly I would say within 10 mins of ordering. It looked great I was so excited to eat it. I ate the first bite great, so I go in for another I look down as I'm mid bite and I see a single hair. It's black (I have a reddish color hair) I think maybe it fell of my sweater. Upon stirring my soup I found a chuck of black hair. Immediately I pushed the pho away because at this point I'm grossed out. I'm not one to complain much I use to work in the food industry so I understand shit happens now and again. So when the waiter comes up he says "would you like this to go?" I said actually I found this hair in it and I don't think I wanna eat it. He said " Oh please don't! I'm so sorry about this." He took the napkin in which I put the hair on and the soup to the back for his owner to see. When he came back his owner was hiding behind the pay station listening in on what the waiter and I were saying back and fourth. The waiter said "I don't even know where this hair came from it doesn't match any of the cooks." I said okay well I have red hair so it's clearly not mine. He asked if he could get us anything else. Disgusted I said no I'm gonna find somewhere else to eat. He said I understand and apologized again. As we were walking out of the door the owner popped her head up from behind the station and demanded we pay for the soda that we only took about 4 sips from. I said that fine I will pay for the soda even though your hair was in my food. She was very rude. She should have been the own who handled the situation not the server. Service today was horrendous. Got in and they took forever with the food and drink. Thank goodness we only got water but that took longer than expected. Had to tell the waiter we wanted to order food or else god know how long that would take. My brother and my food came in at the same time but our wives and mother in law food never came! My food was super sweet for some reason. By the time their food came, I was already half done with mine. The wife asked for her broth to be super hot but of course it was barely luke-warm. Finally managed to wave down the waiter and ask them to heat it up for 2 minutes so she could eat it. He took it away and 10+ minutes later( I kid you not. I actually timed it) I have to ask him to give us our check so we can go somewhere else so my wife can be fed. Didn't even show any sincerity. Saw my wife with her soup completely full and ask her is she done? Are you kidding me? This place totally failed to provide acceptable service, not great; I just wanted acceptable and it would have been fine. 16 years being a restaurant manager and I can't find a reason to come back again.
