Delicious! Although on the pricey side, the servings are massive. Our take-out green curry lasted 4 meals. It had just the right level of spice and coconut milk, and was chock-full of perfectly -cooked veggies. They also gave a hearty serving of rice to go with it. My go-to Thai restaurant is in Port Orange, but if I'm-ever in New Smyrna, Thai Mango is a solid choice. read more

We love this place I think every time they change locations in NSB it gets better, they were original on Canal Street then they moved to a location off US 1 and now here. The staff is wonderful they are very attentive and genuinely care that you have a great experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our visit today was our first at this location, it's a very inviting little restaurant and very clean with everything in its place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We seated ourselves and were greeted almost immediately I already knew what I wanted but scanned the menu anyway to see if something caught my eye. We order our drinks (Can Coca-Cola products with a glass of ice) and a giant glass of ice water in anticipation of of my "Thai Hot" Pad See Ew with beef we also ordered this with chicken with medium heat. Our server brought us a complimentary order of crispy egg rolls which were so delicious with the dipping sauce. Everything here was as delicious as we hoped it would be and the heat levels are accurate so keep that in mind - the service was exceptional and the prices are very reasonable. Thai Mango in New Smyrna Beach was a pleasant surprise! Located in a small shopping plaza, I was not sure how the food would be. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we walked in, I noticed how clean the restaurant is and how quickly we were greeted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server came over right away and was efficient and helpful-making suggestions that were amazing! I had pad Thai and the serving size was huge and the quality of chicken was perfect. I am picky about my protein but the food was fresh and delicious. We love to try new Thai restaurants as we travel and we were not disappointed. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our drink and food orders were also taken promptly. The complimentary spring rolls were hot and flavorful. The Tom Yum soup was a large bowl and had great flavor and the Thai Chilli Fish Sauce added just the right amount of heat. We both ordered the Thai Basil Chicken as our entree and it was delicious as well. We went to Thai Mango over a month ago. I remember saying when we left that we would be back. We had sweet and sour chicken (Thai style-not the sticky gooey red sauce stuff). and pineapple fried rice, both meals were generous and memorably good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is in a dull looking strip mall, but they have done a very good job making the interior inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitresses wore some traditional jackets. Sorry, I don't know what you call them. All-in-all it was a very pleasant meal, with excellent service, in an inconspicuous little restaurant off Hwy 44. You should try it. read more

Awesome Green Curry with shrimp. Generous amount of both shrimp and vegetables. The best I've had in NSB. I tried them for the first time as carry out, just walking in around 5pm and did have a bit of a wait due to many carry out orders. Next time I'll call ahead. They were very nice and gave me a glass of ice water as I sat and waited. I will return! read more

Rowan saved my life once. When a demon under the name of Brent -a man of inconceivable horrors- took $30 from me, Rowan went on a witch hunt to get it back. Without his help I would have been forever lost and $30 poorer. Rowan is Thai mango's greatest asset and quite possibly the world greatest hero. The restaurant is small and the decor is what I'd call cozy chaotic - lots of beautiful Thai shrines and figures, but then funky Christmas lights strung over whimsical photos. Don't let the "Reserved" tags on every table cause you concern, we and every party that came in after us were assured we could sit anywhere. We started with the Som Tam papaya salad at a medium and it had a perfect kick with the sour-sweet-funk punch of lime, fish sauce, rock sugar, probably some tamarind? It was fresh, cool and crunchy and a refreshing start to the meal. I had to try the Summer Breeze Rolls because I was actually first introduced to this restaurant by their stalls set up at various local farmers markets and the peanut sauce is out of this world, perfectly sweet and salty and a little curry spice kick as well. The rolls were wrapped a bit loose but I love that they grill the shrimp and also stuff mostly with lettuce instead of a ton of noodles so the rolls were more crisp than squish/starch. I got the panang curry medium and I think I could have gone a step up on heat but it was a nice mild burn that let the flavor of the sauce shine through. The veggies were crisp, the chicken tender, and I was happy with every bite. My father got the Lard Na 100 with crispy duck (a $10.50 upcharge but so worth it, so well cooked and crisp!) and loved it, just had no heat despite ordering it medium. I was impressed with the noodles - wide rice noodles but cooked firm so they didn't fall apart but had a delightful chew. The service was friendly, attentive, and super helpful with suggestions on heat level since we hadn't been before and didn't know if they pulled their punches (they don't, so start at a level below what you usually get elsewhere). The siu mai were available as shrimp, pork, or beef - we got shrimp and yes it was nice shrimp but I prefer the shrimp/pork mixture. Seafood dumplings were good as was the eggplant. The black bean pork rib tips were a bit underseasoned and the soup dumplings had only a few drops of soup and too thick skins BUT if you just think of them as ginger pork dumplings they're great. Brisket noodles soup was good but nothing outstanding. The pork belly was thick cut and perfectly cooked tender and fatty and while we assumed it would be chunks of taro it turned out to be minced into the sauce. Mostly sweet without much other nuance but adding a bit of the chili paste we asked for made it better. Only complaint is that after our final dish came out we never saw our waiter again. A younger waiter started working the floor which only had 3 other tables occupied. We had to flag him down for take out boxes and the check after sitting there for 10 minutes despite him having visited once to refill water when we were already done. If I'm craving dim sum and had to be in the area I'd go again but I'll still be going to Orlando to really scratch that dim sum itch.

We order far more than we should, they disappear instantly, and there's usually a friendly debate over who gets the last one. The service is fast, friendly, and an important part of why we keep coming back. On the rare occasion there's an issue, they go out of their way to make it right because they truly want you to be happy. It's family-owned, deeply rooted in the community, and has been around for as long as we can remember. We've never eaten in, but they do have tables ready for those who choose that option and while limited in size, it fits the ambiance of a fast-paced Chinese restaurant-it's cute! You can't go wrong with any choice but those beans are great. There's no way I can eat 12 shrimp so I always have the treat of a snack the next day. My husband got the blackened mahi mahi and said it was fantastic. The second time he also chose the 12 piece shrimp dinner but with coleslaw and onion rings! Take a look at the picture, the rings were terrific. I definitely prefer the thinner rings over the large ones that some places serve. Boston's is a must for visitors to NSB. The menu states that it's the best seafood in New Smyrna Beach and they certainly get my hearty recommendation.

The owner was around- he's the one who brought me salt and he brought some of our appetizers. He was very helpful. For dessert I had to have the cannoli. They fill them fresh, I know it because the shell was so crispy. We also had 3 martini specials- the key lime pie martini, the pistachio martini and the tiramisu martini. All were good. The key lime was different than most restaurants - more tart and less thick. The tiramisu martini was everyone's favorite. Because of that, we got the tiramisu cake to go! Conveniently located in the shopping plaza behind Wawa's gas station, next to Ben's Pharmacy, this hidden gem in New Smyrna Beach offers a relaxed atmosphere, incredible food, and some of the friendliest, most personable service you could hope to find. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed, and the staff made the entire experience warm and enjoyable. The menu offers an impressive variety of dishes, with something for everyone. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared with the rich, vibrant tastes you expect from true Thai cuisine. The quality and attention to detail in each dish really stood out. I'm not someone who enjoys extremely spicy food and sometimes even medium spice can be a bit much for me. The staff happily adjusted the spice levels to my preferences and got it exactly right. That level of care made the experience even better. We visited during the lunch crowd, and it was the perfect atmosphere--busy enough to have a nice steady flow of customers, but still quiet and comfortable without excessive noise. Based on the reactions and conversations around us, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals just as much as we were. For those of us who have missed having a truly great Thai restaurant in New Smyrna Beach since the beloved Canal Street location closed more than a decade ago, Thai Mango fills that void perfectly. The veggies were crisp, the chicken tender, and I was happy with every bite. My father got the Lard Na 100 with crispy duck (a $10.50 upcharge but so worth it, so well cooked and crisp!) and loved it, just had no heat despite ordering it medium. I was impressed with the noodles - wide rice noodles but cooked firm so they didn't fall apart but had a delightful chew. The service was friendly, attentive, and super helpful with suggestions on heat level since we hadn't been before and didn't know if they pulled their punches (they don't, so start at a level below what you usually get elsewhere).
