Everyone seems to have that Chinese restaurant. The one you turn to because the food always hits just right, or because you've got family or friends over, everyone's tired of pizza, and you need something that feeds the whole group with leftovers to spare. For us, this has been that place for more than 20 years of living in Florida. We genuinely love it here. My wife orders the Egg Fu Yung almost every time and swears by it, with very rare exceptions. I'm completely devoted to the General Tso's Chicken, veggie style with tofu instead of chicken, and it's hands down one of the best versions I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm addicted. Our son is just as loyal to the classic General Tso's Chicken, and he rarely strays from it either. Over the years, we've tried many items on the menu and have enjoyed everything, but these have become our go-to favorites unless something new tempts us. And then there are the crab rangoons. We order far more than we should, they disappear instantly, and there's usually a friendly debate over who gets the last one. The service is fast, friendly, and an important part of why we keep coming back. On the rare occasion there's an issue, they go out of their way to make it right because they truly want you to be happy. It's family-owned, deeply rooted in the community, and has been around for as long as we can remember. We've never eaten in, but they do have tables ready for those who choose that option and while limited in size, it fits the ambiance of a fast-paced Chinese restaurant-it's cute! I haven't had the Chinese vegetable with beef in a long time. I think it's new owners haven't been there in a long time. It was the lunch menu was absolutely delicious and I don't usually drink soda, but I do with Chinese food and they had my favorite soda, but it was diet Fanta orange They never had that before either so a thumbs up I'll probably try to get this weekly even though I'm on a diet and the chef one of the chefs was even extra friendly, talking joking with me thank you. The food is plentiful and delicious the owners are very obliging and always give big portions which works nice so that we can usually get another meal out of the order we place. They take the order over the phone and tell us when it is ready and it is always on time and packed ready to go as promised. We have been long time customers and will remain so since they are the best we have yet to find. Food took no time and was great. We ordered General Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mien. Egg rolls we crispy and also amazing.

The quality of the food changes from year to year depending on which "family" is there at the time. Each family is there only for one year, and then return to China. The restaurant is actually owned by a NY company that briefly trains crew to a standardized menu and ships them to Edgewater. The food made by this crew (2024-2025) is definitely under par both in spices and cooking. It is suggested that the NY company visit this place (incognito) and order several items during their visit to check on the quality of food being served. Of course, maybe just look at annual dollar result from the store, and could care less about the food. Another thing is that they now charge an additional $.50 if you want house mustard. My orders generally run about $50.00, and previously with the size of the order, house mustard was always provided for free when asked for. No other Chinese Restaurant is this generally area charges for this item. Considering the quality of food and the "extra charge", I will not be ordering again from this place again this year. We have been looking for a good Chinese place for a few months and we think we have found our go to! I had the orange chicken and it was delicious. As with any orange chicken, it was lightly battered and fired, covered with a mild and tangy orange sauce. My husband ordered the general tsos chicken and had it made spicy. He was very happy with it. I got an order of the fried rice and it was okay. I never order fried but had a craving for it. Maybe I just don't love fried rice that much lol. Food is ok. Not great, not bad. I honestly can't say that I have a favorite dish here as nothing really stands out. Wonton soup is, eh...soggy wontons, little to no pork pieces in the broth, no greens. Egg foo yung is decent. Decent dumplings although a tad too doughy for my tastes. The egg rolls are good if the oil is fresh. Chicken wings are really good. Customer service is lacking. Not very friendly at the front end. Not just during this time of the pandemic. The place to go for good takeout Chinese Food in this area I've tried them all nothing stellar but decent takeout. Can be a little challenging ordering over the phone so check your order before you leave so you're not disappointed. If you like it extra spicy good luck I have tried everything to get it extra extra extra hot. I really love Chinese food. It is my favorite kind of food in general, but lately I've not been impressed. I love their white rice and steamed dumplings most, but they have decent noodles. The egg drop never tastes right like it's watered down. Also if you ask for green onions sprinkled on the dumplings they want to charge you for it EVEN THOUGH they are pictured with the onions on them. I'd give more stars but the customer service is a hit and a miss. Great Kung Pao Chicken & Garlic Beef ! The food actually had fresh veggies and was packed with good flavor!

The moo shu pork was so good! Good flavor, not too salty, lean pork. The fried rice was delicious and I wish everyone made their egg rolls the way they do at China Wok, crispy outside and inside (Vegas). If you are looking for a clean place with friendly service go elsewhere. If you are looking to arrive home with a complete order go elsewhere. Sweet and Sour Shrimp was more breading than shrimp, it was overcooked, and the sauce was watered down; no flavor what so ever. On top of that they forgot the rice. If you are O.K with borderline edible then give it a try; otherwise my advice would be to eat elsewhere. read more

I took there advice and ordered what they said was good. I took it back to my room and it was probably the worst chinese I have ever had. The spices and flavor was nasty.
