Everyone seems to have that Chinese restaurant. The one you turn to because the food always hits just right, or because you've got family or friends over, everyone's tired of pizza, and you need something that feeds the whole group with leftovers to spare. For us, this has been that place for more than 20 years of living in Florida. We genuinely love it here. My wife orders the Egg Fu Yung almost every time and swears by it, with very rare exceptions. I'm completely devoted to the General Tso's Chicken, veggie style with tofu instead of chicken, and it's hands down one of the best versions I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm addicted. Our son is just as loyal to the classic General Tso's Chicken, and he rarely strays from it either. Over the years, we've tried many items on the menu and have enjoyed everything, but these have become our go-to favorites unless something new tempts us. And then there are the crab rangoons. We order far more than we should, they disappear instantly, and there's usually a friendly debate over who gets the last one. The service is fast, friendly, and an important part of why we keep coming back. On the rare occasion there's an issue, they go out of their way to make it right because they truly want you to be happy. It's family-owned, deeply rooted in the community, and has been around for as long as we can remember. We've never eaten in, but they do have tables ready for those who choose that option and while limited in size, it fits the ambiance of a fast-paced Chinese restaurant-it's cute! This is our family's Chinese restaurant, the one we trust and return to again and again. Give it a try once, and there's a good chance it becomes yours too. read more

The moo shoo pork was delicious. I like how the shredded cabbage was cut very thin. Egg rolls were tasty as well!

I haven't had the Chinese vegetable with beef in a long time. I think it's new owners haven't been there in a long time. It was the lunch menu was absolutely delicious and I don't usually drink soda, but I do with Chinese food and they had my favorite soda, but it was diet Fanta orange They never had that before either so a thumbs up I'll probably try to get this weekly even though I'm on a diet and the chef one of the chefs was even extra friendly, talking joking with me thank you. Please don't get rid of the diet orange Fanta drink. read more

I'm telling you, this place is the best in town. They make our order perfect Every time, the food is so delicious and they try their best to make it fast. Your patience will pay off, I promise you. This is a weekly MUST! read more

The food is plentiful and delicious the owners are very obliging and always give big portions which works nice so that we can usually get another meal out of the order we place. They take the order over the phone and tell us when it is ready and it is always on time and packed ready to go as promised. We have been long time customers and will remain so since they are the best we have yet to find. They bring back memories of the Chinese restaurant I grew up with as a young man living on Long Island they present a warm atmosphere and very friendly all the time. read more

Always more than enough food for lunch the next day. More flavorful than others in the area. Not my all time favorite but this spot has serious nostalgia. The employees are always pleasant. read more

We were looking for a new Chinese restaurant, and this is our new favorite. No frills, good food quality ingredients. Worth the drive as they don't deliver. read more

Most of the time this place is fast and the food is great, but the combo plates are the way to go. Last time I ordered crabraggons and they were a bit dry and not full. Usually there great. Busy on weekend nights call ahead. Very nice people. read more

Fast, easy, and tastes good! It's great when you are to tired from work and need something in 10 minutes

Food took no time and was great. We ordered General Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mien. Egg rolls we crispy and also amazing.

The quality of the food changes from year to year depending on which "family" is there at the time. Each family is there only for one year, and then return to China. The restaurant is actually owned by a NY company that briefly trains crew to a standardized menu and ships them to Edgewater. The food made by this crew (2024-2025) is definitely under par both in spices and cooking. It is suggested that the NY company visit this place (incognito) and order several items during their visit to check on the quality of food being served. Of course, maybe just look at annual dollar result from the store, and could care less about the food. Another thing is that they now charge an additional $.50 if you want house mustard. My orders generally run about $50.00, and previously with the size of the order, house mustard was always provided for free when asked for. No other Chinese Restaurant is this generally area charges for this item. Considering the quality of food and the "extra charge", I will not be ordering again from this place again this year. When the crew changes, I order again. Luckily for me there are other places within driving distance that I can order from. "Hey NY.....wake up before you lose more customers." read more

Food is always delicious but order is always missing items recently. I have been ordering from them about 4 years and it seems that recently, food items are not in my order. Four times in a row is a bit much!!! Get it together!!! read more

We have been looking for a good Chinese place for a few months and we think we have found our go to! I had the orange chicken and it was delicious. As with any orange chicken, it was lightly battered and fired, covered with a mild and tangy orange sauce. My husband ordered the general tsos chicken and had it made spicy. He was very happy with it. I got an order of the fried rice and it was okay. I never order fried but had a craving for it. Maybe I just don't love fried rice that much lol. Everything tasted really fresh and they seem to use a higher quality meat than most places. Overall, we are very happy and will be ordering again next time we want Chinese. read more

Food is ok. Not great, not bad. I honestly can't say that I have a favorite dish here as nothing really stands out. Wonton soup is, eh...soggy wontons, little to no pork pieces in the broth, no greens. Egg foo yung is decent. Decent dumplings although a tad too doughy for my tastes. The egg rolls are good if the oil is fresh. Chicken wings are really good. Customer service is lacking. Not very friendly at the front end. Not just during this time of the pandemic. The service has always been that way. A smile goes a loooong way in my book. I'll order from there if I'm in the mood for Chinese food and don't feel like driving to Daytona for Lehanes. Now THATS a great place.... read more

The place to go for good takeout Chinese Food in this area I've tried them all nothing stellar but decent takeout. Can be a little challenging ordering over the phone so check your order before you leave so you're not disappointed. If you like it extra spicy good luck I have tried everything to get it extra extra extra hot. I am going to ask for it Thai Hot next time even though they don't serve Thai here lol can't hurt right? read more

China Wok - a car parked in front of a chinese restaurant - Chinese Near Me - Edgewater, Florida

I really love Chinese food. It is my favorite kind of food in general, but lately I've not been impressed. I love their white rice and steamed dumplings most, but they have decent noodles. The egg drop never tastes right like it's watered down. Also if you ask for green onions sprinkled on the dumplings they want to charge you for it EVEN THOUGH they are pictured with the onions on them. I'd give more stars but the customer service is a hit and a miss. I can understand that with the area, some people are always looking for something for free but come on, my order is put in a box that you received product in and not a bag.. just gross. read more

very good and tasty. The quality was excellent and everything was fresh! It was one of the best Chinese restaurants we ever had.

Had a craving for Chinese food because it's been awhile since we had any. This was some of the best carryout I've had. The orange chicken was crispy, flavorful, just perfect. Husband's house lo mein was also delicious, lots of shrimp. Highly recommend! read more

Great Kung Pao Chicken & Garlic Beef ! The food actually had fresh veggies and was packed with good flavor!

The moo shu pork was so good! Good flavor, not too salty, lean pork. The fried rice was delicious and I wish everyone made their egg rolls the way they do at China Wok, crispy outside and inside (Vegas). The delivery was so quick too! 20 minutes earlier than they quoted me. I was not a fan of the hot and sour soup, I found it bland, neither hot nor sour :( read more

This used to be my favorite Chinese place last couple of times they gave me the wrong food orders This time I checked it The barbecue spare ribs and this is in comparison to other places The boneless barbecue spare ribs have no sauce they're dry why I ordered a small vegetable lo mein I did not want corn I barely got any vegetables I had one piece of broccoli two snow peas pods and a few tiny slivers of cabbage nothing else in comparison to other places This tasted like nothing there was nothing there they've skimp on sauces all the time why and why was there no vegetables it's more money than it was a year ago read more

Food is ok, but they charge higher prices than what their present menu reflects. Illegal. You can contact BBB if any business does that to you. Check your receipt against their menu prices first before you pay. read more

We love Chinese food, and so happy they are just minutes away from our home in Edgewater. We've tried many of the dishes and all of them were so deciduous. You have to try to believe it. You won't be dissatisfied, and in this day an age the prices are very satisfactory.... Enjoy! read more

For Chinese takeout, yeah this is: Woohoo! As good as it gets! Love me some MSG and the ribs are pretty damn good. Beef teriyaki app is a steal at $4.95. read more

Hey China Wok, did you know that there is CRAB in crab rangoon? Didn't find or taste any in my order. Might explain why I saw it on your menu as "krab" rangoon. Now let's discuss your "chicken fingers." They aren't "batter fingers" with a tiny piece of chicken in them. Your service is fast and my order was nice and hot when I arrived. Atmosphere in your store was rather blah. Could not in good conscience recommend your store to friends or strangers. read more

Delicious food. Take out better than dine in. Seating and restaurant atmosphere not very inviting. But food was great! Yelp directions take you to a wrong location. It's next door to Subway across from Library in Winn Dixie and Bealls shopping center. read more

Fantastic! We've tried other places in the area but keep coming back to China Wok. It's reasonably priced, quick, and delicious! Portions are large enough that my husband and I get several meals out of them and he's a large eater. Lol While they do not have Wi-Fi to use while you wait, there is a Dunkin donuts that provides Wi-Fi in the area. read more

It's "chinese" take out, if you expect much more than eat somewhere else. If you like Chinese take out, then China Wok is particularly good. Our Vegetarian option go-to choice is Bean curd szechuan style. Meat choice for us is General Tso chicken. Best Chinese take out in our area and friendly staff. Not much room for dining in, but it's take out- so you shouldn't expect there to be right? read more

I've been eating China Wok food for years. It's fantastic. My favorite is beef and broccoli. Broccoli always perfect. Not hard or soft. Price is reasonable and they are quick. BEST chinese in the area. read more

Very fresh & hot food. Good prices and excellent taste. Big city, N.Y. dtyle food at a small town price. Best chinese takeout around!

Just what you would expect from a takeout Chinese restaurant. It's just like 1000000 others.

Hey friends, went to my local chinese restaurant and found a dog hair in my seaseme chicken. Was it really chicken?

If you are looking for a clean place with friendly service go elsewhere. If you are looking to arrive home with a complete order go elsewhere. Sweet and Sour Shrimp was more breading than shrimp, it was overcooked, and the sauce was watered down; no flavor what so ever. On top of that they forgot the rice. If you are O.K with borderline edible then give it a try; otherwise my advice would be to eat elsewhere. read more

I have lived her 20 plus years. I love Chinese, can order every day. Unfortunately. ...I have had so many bad experiences here. ..I will drive 25 minutes to daytona from now on. I took there advice and ordered what they said was good. I took it back to my room and it was probably the worst chinese I have ever had. The spices and flavor was nasty. I should have taken the garbage back and got something else. Probably my money back.
