    Pho with fried tofu.

A family operated restaurant with friendly service. There is seating and, of course, take-out. The menu is extensive with typical pho options from which to choose.

This is a very cute little Pho place in down town Deland. The Pho is pretty good. Everything tastes very fresh. The service is excellent. They are incredibly friendly. The price is a little higher than other pho places I have been to but I think that is because of the location.

Food was okay. The meat was not tender or fall off the bone as we expected on the beef pho.

Pho in Deland is in between Daytona and Orlando. This is the place to be if you don't want to drive to Orlando. It's located in downtown Deland and across the street from the mini Asian market. This space is narrow and tiny. We had a party of 12 that we called in to reserve ahead of time. That took up more than half of the restaurant space. -Special beef pho -Grilled pork chop with rice -Spicy beef noodle -Korean short ribs with rice -Thai tea The grilled pork chop was so good. It was grilled on charcoal not gas and it wasn't dry! It was moist with flavors and marinated well. Being Vietnamese and from California, I can honestly say this place was pretty good for the area.

While standing outside, on the sidewalk, scanning the QR code on the glass window, and trying to view a menu on our cell phone, a very lovely employee opened the door and offered us paper menus. This kind gesture was greatly appreciated! In fact, we decided to eat at this cozy establishment! We ordered pot stickers, and two fried rice dishes. The food was okay. I've used the word "okay" because we found the rice to be very greasy. We drank water, yet the total bill was over $5o. The staff was quite cordial. Perhaps we would go again to try the pho.

We haven't visited Pho Co in a while since the prices changed a few years back. Since it was a cold Saturday night and I was craving soup; we decided to give this restaurant a 2nd chance. When we entered, we were greeted by both waiters and were able to get seated immediately. I think we came at a good time (6pm) because as we were enjoying our meal it started to get packed. It's a small restaurant so if it does get full be prepared to wait outside. I'm so glad they added ambient music in the restaurant, it made it cozy (a few years back, it use to be sooo quiet to eat here). The tables were also clean. Once seated, the waiter came with our waters quickly and put in our order. We got the fried egg rolls as an appetizer, my husband ordered the chicken curry, and I ordered the beef pho. Both of the soups were very good and exactly what we were craving. Some people who left reviews said it took a while for them to get their food? We were able to enjoy our meal and pay within 45 minutes or so. Our food came hot and our meat wasn't chewy. Everything was good! If you come for the soups I feel like it's well worth the price 5/5 However we try to avoid the buns or rice plates because of how pricey they are :( If I'm ever craving Pho soup i'll definitely come here!

Tasty food and I like that they have Vietnamese Curry where a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants locally do not. A bit spicey but very tasty. The bao was light on filling compared to other local restaurants but we will be back for sure.

    Another bug in the soup

My 15 year old ate here with her friend. She noticed two bugs in her Wonton soup, she mentioned it to the staff and they said it was broccoli then took her soup back to the kitchen. Then brought the bill out. She paid for the meal because she did not know what to do. DO NOT EAT HERE! I'm reporting this everywhere. Just because she is a teenager doesn't mean they should take advantage of the situation.

    3-meat pho

Stopped in on a rainy Monday evening (yes they're open on Mondays now! Apparently as of August 15, 2022) because rain = soup to my brain. They had just opened for the night so I was the sole patron but they were doing a great takeout biz. Needless to say service was stellar since I had the place to myself. I started with a passion fruit tea with rainbow jelly and pork and shrimp summer rolls. The rolls were wrapped tightly and nothing tore or fell out and the fillings were well distributed. I loved the peanut sauce with a perfect balance of sweet and savory with a hint of fish sauce. Extra bonus for crispy shallots on top. I got a 3-meat pho with brisket, eye round and meatball. The brisket and eye round were tender and the meatballs were smooth with no bits of gristle. The broth was wonderful, you could taste the spices and it was well balanced between salty, sweet, and a tiny bit of silky fat from the brisket. I also loved that it was broth heavy and not 80% noodles because I favor the broth over the noodles. My only complaint is that the entire 30-40 minutes I was in there they played the same song on repeat. According to Shazam it's "Remember When" by Alan Jackson. I didn't have the heart to ask my waitress to change it - could have been her favorite? Plus the food was so good I still thoroughly enjoyed my visit!

My husband had never had pho, so we located what was deemed the "best pho in DeLand" (by the restaurant itself) and headed to Pho Company Noodle House in downtown DeLand. The restaurant looks about the size of a short alleyway and when we first walked in my social anxiety was peaked. There was a sign instructing patrons to "wait to be seated," but we waited a long while - in the doorway of this small space - with awkward stares from patrons and staff who failed to acknowledge us (even though they passed by us several times and there were tables available). Not a warm and fuzzy feeling but I was determined to not let my anxiety win. When we were finally seated, we quickly ordered some appetizers- spring rolls and pork dumplings - in fear that the food wait time would be as long as it took to get us seated. While we were waiting for our appetizers, a gentleman behind us loudly complained to the server, "I didn't come here for dinner to eat your lunchtime leftovers!" He pointed out how his food looked and tasted old and re-heated and how his wife's food was cold. Yikes! We were afraid of how our food would arrive. Our appetizers didn't take as long as we had feared and the taste was average. For our pho, my husband ordered steak pho while I ordered chicken pho. My husband was underwhelmed with his first pho experience as his steak tasted chewy and the broth lacked flavor. For my chicken pho, the beef broth made the dish taste "too beefy" and over salted. As for the restaurant's claim that they are the "best pho in DeLand," it turns out that they're the only pho restaurant in DeLand and my husband and I will gladly drive out of town to avoid "the best pho in DeLand" the next time we're craving pho.

    Shrimp spring rolls
    Christi V.

I came at around 5:30/6 and was seated right away. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and steak and brisket pho and man was it delicious and very quick to come out. The broth had a beautiful flavor and the peanut sauce for the rolls was not overpowering. Only downsides were I had to wait a while for the check as they had many people coming in but it seemed like I was forgotten as other people who came in after me got their check and left before me. Also I ordered a original milk tea with boba to go and was told multiple times he was making it right then and by the time I got it all the boba had stuck together and was hard to drink.

The server looked at with a smile and slight confusion. We realized they were not yet open! I felt like a dunce. We offered to come back. She made sure we were comfortable, provided several laughs, and advised that the chef was preparing. The ambiance was so inviting and the overall vibe was great so waiting was not even a concern. We started with the wings. Oh my! They were out of this world. I can only assume (because I didn't ask) that they were soy garlic, and oh so yummy. Extremely tender and moist, with more flavor than any wing should have. My Daughter ordered the chilli oil noodles. They were a medium spice packed with flavor. My finance ordered hot and spicy noodles that didn't hold back. They were as described with the perfect about of heat. She'd felt they would have benefited from a bit of sweetness, but were delicious. I thought they were great. I ordered the mongoose Dan Dan noodles. They were also delicious. The noodles themselves were the star I feel. They had the perfect amount of bounce giving an authenticity I didn't expect. I tried all three dishes and my favorite was the hot and spicy noodles but my daughter gave her leftovers to her boyfriend! I was offended but I survived. We shared a slice of pistachio cake that was truly special. The server told us it was amazing but we didn't expect it to be that good. It was super moist, not overly sweet, and was nothing less than perfect. Totally unexpected. This is a true gem.

The soba noodles were light, refreshing, and coated in a rich sesame sauce that had a great balance of nuttiness and subtle sweetness without being overpowering. On the other hand, the chili noodles had a completely different flavor profile-bold, savory, with a slight kick of heat that built up without overwhelming the dish. What really stood out to me was how well the noodles themselves were cooked-perfect texture, not too soft or too firm, which can be hard to get right. You can tell there's attention to detail in the preparation. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they took the time to answer questions and give recommendations, which I always appreciate. The ambiance inside is also a big plus-clean, comfortable, and modern without feeling too trendy. One unique touch I loved was the cooking videos playing inside; it adds to the overall experience and makes the place feel more engaging. Overall, everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere made this a really enjoyable visit. I'll definitely be coming back, and this is quickly becoming one of my go-to spots when I'm craving noodles.

Once seated, we were placed in the second dining room and ordered drinks, four appetizers, and our entrees. Unfortunately, from the start, the table was not properly set. We had no silverware, no napkins, no side plates for sharing appetizers, no coasters, and really no table settings at all. For a party ordering multiple appetizers and drinks, this immediately made service feel disorganized and inattentive. The issue became even worse when our entrees arrived and, almost immediately after, staff started stacking chairs around us at approximately 9:12 p.m. We had only been seated maybe 15-20 minutes earlier, so as a party of five on a Saturday night, we certainly did not expect the restaurant to begin visibly shutting down while we were just starting our meal. What made it even more frustrating was that these tables were already available when we first walked in, despite being told there would be a wait. Since we were entertaining guests, we thought this would be a great opportunity to show off the rooftop, which is such a great feature for a small town like DeLand and has so much potential. Instead, the experience became embarrassing and disappointing. Having staff stack chairs and place them on tabletops in the middle of our meal felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and made us feel rushed out rather than welcomed. When we asked to speak with a manager, the response we received was that "the servers have to go home." That explanation was unacceptable. Paying customers should never be made to feel like an inconvenience, especially while actively dining. With my own background in restaurant service and management, I found both the handling of the situation and the manager's response to be extremely poor. As a DeLand local, this was especially disappointing because this restaurant has been making improvements and adding entertainment, which we were excited to support. Unfortunately, the poor service and lack of professionalism completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable night out.

Everything is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care and love that goes into each dish. Their menu is creative and diverse--think insanely good hand-crafted sandwiches, burgers that are huge and perfectly executed (juicy patties on toasted buns, cooked exactly to order with complex, flavorful toppings), hearty salads, quiches, sloppy joes, and daily specials that keep things exciting. We tried a mix of items, and nothing disappointed; flavors were bold, portions generous, and every bite was packed with that homemade goodness.
