I'm giving 4 stars not for the average Chinese meal, but for the AMAZING value still offered from my lunch special that was a HUGE portion of food enough for TWO people for only $8.75! (Retired people listen up) I ordered the Shrimp w Mixed Vegetables Lunch Special that came with my choice of Wonton Soup (meh) and decent amount of shrimp and variety of veggies with a large portion of pork fried rice. I only managed to eat half my serving after finishing my soup. The dining area is tired, worn and cluttered so I would recommend a take out on a good weather day and heading to one of the Lake Parks down the street. Otherwise a solid choice for a great value meal deal! read more

New Peking - Shrimp w Mixed Vegetables Lunch Special - Chinese Near Me - Deltona, Florida

Food was hot. Spare ribs very tasty but quite greasy. Pork lo mein was decent. Had good sized pieces of pork in it. Sesame chicken had too much coating not enough chicken. The House fried rice did not have the variety of ingredients that house fried rice normally has. This was our first time trying this restaurant. Probably won't order again. read more

I've been ordering from here for years! They always have my food ready on time to pick up. They have a dining area as well which is a bit nicer than most Chinese takeout places. Everything that I've ordered from the menu has been good, haven't ever gotten anything I didn't like from here. I really like the Krab Rangoon here they do it really well! Also the Lo Mein here is one of my favorites in this area. Their Spring Rolls are always crispy and the filling is tasty. Their General Tso Tofu is really good and a great option if you're vegetarian. Today I got the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special and it was good but the Chicken was a bit over breaded and crunchy. Nice flavor though. Wonton Soup broth was really good and the Wontons had a good tasting filling. They are consistent taste wise and quickly fill orders. I would definitely recommend them if you are around this area and want good Chinese take out. read more

I just got an order of plain lo mein and an egg roll. The egg roll was tasteless and the lo mein is over cooked and mushy. No soy sauce packets were included. I'm totally dissatisfied. I would really like a refund. read more

Customer service has gone down the tubes, but maybe because they were busy during Hurricane Ian. So I gave an extra star for being open and coming through for the people when most establishments stayed closed for four days. The rest of the stars are missing because the quality of food has also left much to be desired. If you have a trained palate for Chinese good, go at your own risk. If you don't mind lack of flavor, totally go for it. Plenty of Deltonians go for it, it's usually busy, so you may be pleasantly surprised. read more

The soup was good. It had tofu and lots of mushrooms but the star was the chicken. It was delicious and properly cooked. This was two days ago and I'm wanting more. read more

This is our go to Chinese in Deltona. The food is always fresh and delivered temp perfect. The service is on point, they pay attention to notes on order. Hot & Sour soup is my go to when sick and they'll make just the broth without mushrooms and tofu. Cannot recommend highly enough. read more

Food was great and received it hot! The rice was not heavy and the crab Rangoon was really good.

They are very polite and the food is very fresh. Crispy chicken on the general tso not soggy.

Unfortunately we have lost the last palatable Chinese restaurant in Deltona! Food has suffered but the biggie is pricing...they no linger deliver and you must use a delivery company like Grub Hub and pay approx 20% higher menu prices encumbered by $6.95 "service fee" as well as a $2.95 delivery fee and then, I'm sure they will expect a tip! Oh, and don't forget the $9.99 monthly fee for the privilege of being robbed. I started my order for pickup and it totaled $22 and change. After switching to delivery, it went to$52.83!!! If they don't want our business, just say so!~ read more

This was one of the good chinese restaurants but not anymore. The last time I went here the rice was not good and the boneless spareribs were old there is no good Chinese restaurant in Deltona, Debary or Orange City you might be better off ordering the tiny servings at Panda Express at least you can see if they are fresh. read more

Best Chinese food in Deltona! Great hot 'n sour soup, steamed dumplings and wonton. The lo mein is a little short on protein but still flavorful. I've tried and enjoyed their Hunan pork, Bourbon chicken (yes I know it's not Chinese), shrimp fried rice, shrimp mei fun and several other dishes. They were all very tasty. I'm placing an order tonight and haven't decided what to get. read more

I made the mistake of ordering from the place down the street while sending my wife here. So we got to do a side by side comparison of the general tso chicken. Everyone in my family picked the New Peking as the winner! By a long shot!! I will say New China wok is a better value because the serving size was bigger. read more

Super good food, fast service, and in my opinion...THE BEST egg rolls!! Totally recommend to anyone!

Very consistent very good takeout! I love the General Tsos combo platter, it's always been such a great value

One of my favorite Chinese takeout options near me. I haven't found any comparably delicious plain lo-mien, and they are definitely in my top 3 favorite crab ragoons. Excellent prices. I took one star because sometimes the meat is questionably chewy/stringy. The flavors are okay, but not always worth the tough and chewy (hopefully) chicken. read more

Food is very tasty Chinese food, and they serve nice portions. Love their shrimp with lobster sauce.

New Peking always has super fast service and my order is never wrong. The food is always great.

I have been ordering from this restaurant on average monthly, to every other month, for around the past four years. They have never gotten a single item wrong, and the food has always been high quality. I have tried a majority of the menu, and the food has always been great. I highly recommend the House Special Lo Mein, and the Mongolian Beef. Both are fabulous! read more

My daughter and I stopped in Tuesday night Dec.6,2022 to relax after a day of moving.I told her it was the best around since I've gone there for years. An elderly man use to come out and check on the food and customers with pride. But it's been a year since I've been there and things have changed dramatically. The tables were moved and piled up with storage boxes. No service what so ever.Apparently they prefer take out customers. We we're given a bottle of water without eye contact or speaking to us at the table. We had to order at the counter and were given our food in a bag to go even though we asked if they still had indoor dining and the woman said yes. The food was horrific.I ordered the spicy shrimp with vegetables. It use to have hand cut carrots, zucchini and mushrooms with sautéd delicious juicy shrimp. When we opened it we couldn't believe it was just a bag of freezer burned carrots and shriveled peas and old frozen mushy shrimp. The only thing fresh appeared to be the onions? The sauce tasted like it was cheap sugar water without any seasonings. No spice or flavor. We ordered egg drop soup but got won ton instead.Decided to not bother the unfriendly lady that appeared annoyed by other to go customers. We took 1 bite of the won ton and we both spit it out at the same time. The meat tasted rancid. The best I can sadly say is it was slop.Nothing was cooked from scratch or with pride. The only thing that tasted ok was an obviously frozen wholesale bought egg roll that was slightly burned.I've never written a review before but I felt compelled to this time because of what has become of this previously great little gem of a restaurant. Not sure what happened but I'll never go back. Once we got home I opened the soup again for a better assessment and decided to give the won ton to some feral cats.Even THEY sniffed the meat and walked away.No idea what that meat really was? read more

I'm so glad I decided to give this place a try today. I have three Chinese places that are equal distances from my house I've tried the other two and they are greasy and leave me feeling sick. Omg this place was delicious and the food was clean and full of flavor. I ordered egg rolls, vegetable low mein, and pang pang chicken. All of it was amazing. Give this place a try. read more

Out of all the Chinese restaurants in Deltona. This is my favorite one. I usually get the General Tso chicken. Real flavorful and has a moderate to low kick to it. You get more chicken than bread on it which is great. They fill your take out orders to the brim so you know you're getting your moneys worth. The price isn't too bad either. When you walk into this place, it's unlike most Chinese restaurants. There's more than 2 tables and nothing is sticky. I haven't dined in yet, but it's a small quiet place. Expect everyone to hear what you are saying if you bring anyone to dine in or keep the convo light. Overall I give it 4 stars for packing my To-go orders full, clean place and fast delivery (takes normally 20 minutes). read more

Ordered sweet and sour chicken combo and egg drop soup tonight. Got home with it just fine. Opened egg rolls.... super crispy/over done. My Chicken was horrible. Very rubbery.. couldn't eat it. Our favorite place to get Chinese take out in Deltona! Our go to here is beef and broccoli, General Tso's, shrimp lo mein, and steamed dumplings. I have only ordered take out... but they always give Plenty of white Rice on the sides, food is always hot and tasty! Lots of shrimp in the lo mein. It is slightly costly around $35-$40 for what I listed above, but I have tried a few Chinese places in the area and I would say this place is definitely the best! read more

I love going with my family to eat there very large selection in the buffet to choose from at a very reasonable price

This is first time we have ordered and will be the last. I ordered 2 different types of chicken(orange and General) and was only able to tell the difference in them was the orange rind in it. Both looked and taste the same. Not impressed at all. read more

New Peking is our favorite "to-to-take-out" , moreso since Covid. Their food is NEVER cold, over-salted or mushy. Vegies are crisp, meat is plentiful, and sauce is justright. Thank you, New Peking, for acommodating my food whims to prepare whatever I ask. so far. Thank you for the extra cashews! During Covid, New Peking has done an excellent job of making our pick-up experience quick, on-time, accurately filled and safe. Happy to say that everything continues to be excellent. My orders and modifications are always perfect and I'm a very happy customer.

Low quality ingredients with tons of fillers and little flavor. Hot and sour soup was almost all cornstarch and oil - almost gelatinous consistency instead of a hearty broth, mushrooms weren't cooked, only other ingredients were tofu, eggs and red pepper flakes. Worst hot and sour soup I have ever had. Egg rolls were soggy and not very warm in the middle - outside was cooked crispy. Do not recommend this place at all. read more

I was craving Chinese food and thought this would be the best place to eat it. I have had food from here before and it was very good. I ordered a chicken dish and wonton soup. The wontons were green and instead of a lunch portion it look like it was a dinner portion. I only could eat very little of the chicken dish. It turns out that I threw up the chicken dish. I will never go back to this place again. read more
