Reminds me a lot of food from NYC. Their bbq ribs & boneless spare ribs are amazing. The sauce they use is delicious. Service is quick.

The online ordering was simple and quick, the only thing I would say could be improved would be the ability to remove ingredients from a dish (I have some picky eaters). Walking into the restaurant to pick up my order I was happy to see it very clean and fresh looking, not run down or lacking in care. The employees were cordial and handed me my order. We splurged a bit on the first order wanting to try several dishes and I can say we were very happy with the food. Quality of the ingredients was great, taste was fresh and tasty. The ability to add ingredients to the order made me quite happy as a non-picky eater! I started with the basil chicken and added sprouts and zucchini, and it was nothing short of perfect. The pad-Thai was really good, and the donuts for dessert were great. Just to see if it was a one time thing we ordered a few days later and it was just as good. We have found our new Thursday night Thai spot!

On my most recent visit I ordered the Addictive Cabbage, which is supposed to come with Yugiri spice-seasoned cabbage, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and nori komi furikake. This time it was extremely dry and bland unfortunately, the Addictive Cabbage did not live up to its name-it lacked flavor and was quite dry. The past two times it fell short of expectations, especially compared to how enjoyable it has been in the past. The edamame was another letdown. It came out ice cold and was overly seasoned to the point where it was hard to enjoy. My first time trying it. For my main, I ordered spicy ramen. The noodles were clumped together and tasted undercooked. There was very little broth, and what remained had mostly been absorbed by the noodles. On top of that, both the noodles and broth were extremely salty-honestly one of the saltiest bowls of ramen I've ever had. Some ingredients also seemed to be missing. The last two times this one was disappointing. It's usually well balanced and delicious. Especially at what they charge for a bowl. The veggie dumplings were underwhelming and lacked flavor. I only tried them once so don't know if that is how they normally are. Service was just as frustrating. No one was at the counter for long stretches of time, and when I tried calling to see if I could bring the food back for a remake, there was no answer or callback. I even reached out online a few weeks ago before posting this review and still haven't received any response. I kept my receipt as well. This is now the second visit in a row where both the food and service have been disappointing. It really feels like things are declining, which is unfortunate because this place used to be reliable-especially for ramen and appetizers. I genuinely hope they turn things around, but based on my recent experiences, I can't recommend it right now.

Big Portions, Amazing Service & Such a Great Find…read more My husband and I decided to try My Greek Taverna, and wow... we're so glad we did. Our server Kayden was wonderful from the moment we sat down. She was welcoming, kind, and kept checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and cared for. Johnny and I both ordered the gyro platter (mainly because I didn't want to share LOL). We didn't realize it would come as a full platter with the meat, pita, potatoes, and toppings on the side, but that was totally on us because it does say it on the menu. We were just too excited to try the food and ordered quickly. Kayden explained that what we were originally thinking of was the gyro sandwich, and she was so sweet about it. She even apologized, which we assured her she absolutely didn't need to do because the mix-up was completely on us. Now we know for next time! Johnny also tried the avgolemono soup, and I had the Greek salad. I'm usually not a big feta cheese person, but wow... it was the perfect touch to the salad. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. You can really taste the freshness in everything, like it's made with care and simple, quality ingredients. The portions are BIG, which we loved. We definitely ended up taking food home. Next time I'm ordering extra pita bread because wow... that pita was so good. We actually didn't even make it to dessert because we were so full, but that just means next time I'll be sure to leave some space. The whole place had such a great vibe too. The staff were smiling, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and it just made the whole experience even better. As silly as it may sound, you can truly feel the love in the food and in the place itself. This is easily one of my favorite hidden gems, and we're already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.

I ordered the lamb chops with lemon roasted potatoes, and WOW. The lamb was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, and the potatoes were packed with that bright, delicious flavor you hope for. We also tried the gyro, and the portions were super generous. The flavor? Absolutely divine Small family-owned, warm, authentic, and fabulous. This place is definitely going into our regular rotation -- can't wait to come back again and again!

We enjoy trying new eateries and we chose the Royal Asian Bistro. What a treat!! The 5 star rating, in my opinion, was absolute! When we arrived, we were greated with a genuine, friendly smile and a "welcome". My hubby is a diabetic and I asked the young lady behind the counter if all their dishes were prepared with sugar (a BIG "no no" for a diabetic) or was it possible to order a dish made WITHOUT sugar. The receptionist went back to the kitchen to inquire an obtain an accurate answer (we really liked that .. no guesswork). We were told that many of the sauces for some dishes are already prepared containing sugar, but, some of those dishes contain a very small amount of sugar. Also, they had some dishes containing no sugar at all. This was pleasing to our ears and we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was was not large, and was neat and clean. It was fairly full already but we were seated immediately and given menus by a very friendly server who asked us what beverages we would like while deciding on our meal. We both are seafood lovers so we chose an appetizer of crab rangoons (6). I opted for an Asian Shrimp lunch special which came with a cup of very good, egg drop soup that had a suprisingly delicate, but very pleasant, enjoyable taste. Not the strong chicken noodly flavor that some places serve. I ate EVERY DROP. The JUMBO shrimp was in a lightly spiced garlic brown sauce with mixed veggies (green peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, carrots and a touch of celery). The sauce was "labeled .. hot garlic sauce" but my inquiry as to "how hot" was answered as "very little". Our server was right .. it had a delightful slight amount of heat that evolved only as you were swallowing. The dish consisted 10 or 11 JUMBO shrimp. I'm not kidding .. JUMBO! It was quite good ... and the portion was large (literally half of the plate). It came with tasty fried rice with a small amount of veggies in it that filled the other half of the plate! What an excellent lunch special and all of it .. cup of egg drop soup, jumbo shrimp with mixed veggies and fried rice .. all for only $10.99! I couldn't eat it all and took 1/2 of the shrimp dish home as well as the 6 crab rangoons ($6.99). We had ordered them to go. My hubby opted for a shrimp dish as well ... Thai Cashew Nut Shrimp .. lightly breaded jumbo shrimp, onion, green peppers, and carrots served in a very tasty brown sweet chili sauce .. Again JUMBO shrimp .. a large portion of about 10 shrimp at a cost of $15.99. Hubby changed the white rice to fried rice with only a $2.00 upcharge. Hubby ate the whole thing! He was a very happy camper. We each had a soda for our beverage. As a side note, when hubby tested his blood sugar in the evening .. it was at a normal level .. yeaaa! So, the small amount of sugar in his shrimp dish did NOT cause his blood sugar to spike .. GREAT NEWS for any diabetic .. no insulin shot was needed! Our lunch was really enjoyable .. in a quiet, friendly, clean, smallish sized restaurant, with attentive, happy servers, GREAT tasting food, and VERY REASONABLE prices. Our entire lunch .. a crab rangoon appetizer (6) that we ordered to go, my cup of egg drop soup (part of the lunch special) , 2 large portioned shrimp & veggie meals, and 2 sodas came to only $43.60. What a treat .. great food in a nice clean little restaurant, with very friendly people at great prices .. what more could a person want? If you enjoy Thai, Japanese & Chinese food at reasonable prices, I believe you'll enjoy the Royal Asian Bistro located in Orange City, FL in the shopping center right after The Olive Garden on Enterprise Blvd. We will definitely be going there again, and again! Happy day!!!

To be honest, not sure if it's even ginger. But it didn't taste good. The hibachi came with fried rice. That was meh. And honestly wouldn't been better off with no sauce at on the hibachi with white rice. I've definitely had better elsewhere. I should've ordered another shrimp tempura because that was good. Probably won't be back. Service was good and all. Decor was cute. But the food was meh. $120 later, not worth it.

This scratch kitchen spot has quickly become one of my favorite places in town, and after our recent visit, my guests and I were all blown away. The food was absolutely amazing, impressing everyone at the table so much that we're already planning our next trip back--definitely going to be regulars from here on out. Everything is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care and love that goes into each dish. Their menu is creative and diverse--think insanely good hand-crafted sandwiches, burgers that are huge and perfectly executed (juicy patties on toasted buns, cooked exactly to order with complex, flavorful toppings), hearty salads, quiches, sloppy joes, and daily specials that keep things exciting. We tried a mix of items, and nothing disappointed; flavors were bold, portions generous, and every bite was packed with that homemade goodness. The homemade desserts and rocking sweets are worth saving room for too--they're the perfect finish to an already stellar meal. The vibe is cozy and welcoming--cute little spot with indoor/outdoor seating, great service that's attentive and friendly (staff makes you feel like family right away), and it's in such a charming part of Artisan Alley next to the brewery, perfect for a casual lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. They even offer delivery and catering if you want to bring that magic home or to an event. BakeChop is the real deal--a local gem putting heart into food, family, friends, and good times. If you're in DeLand and haven't been yet, stop waiting and go try it. You won't be disappointed; we'll be back often for sure!
