The online ordering was simple and quick, the only thing I would say could be improved would be the ability to remove ingredients from a dish (I have some picky eaters). Walking into the restaurant to pick up my order I was happy to see it very clean and fresh looking, not run down or lacking in care. The employees were cordial and handed me my order. We splurged a bit on the first order wanting to try several dishes and I can say we were very happy with the food. Quality of the ingredients was great, taste was fresh and tasty. The ability to add ingredients to the order made me quite happy as a non-picky eater! I started with the basil chicken and added sprouts and zucchini, and it was nothing short of perfect. The pad-Thai was really good, and the donuts for dessert were great. Just to see if it was a one time thing we ordered a few days later and it was just as good. The noodles were clumped together and tasted undercooked. There was very little broth, and what remained had mostly been absorbed by the noodles. On top of that, both the noodles and broth were extremely salty-honestly one of the saltiest bowls of ramen I've ever had. Some ingredients also seemed to be missing. The last two times this one was disappointing. It's usually well balanced and delicious. Especially at what they charge for a bowl. The veggie dumplings were underwhelming and lacked flavor. I only tried them once so don't know if that is how they normally are. Service was just as frustrating. No one was at the counter for long stretches of time, and when I tried calling to see if I could bring the food back for a remake, there was no answer or callback. I even reached out online a few weeks ago before posting this review and still haven't received any response. I kept my receipt as well. This is now the second visit in a row where both the food and service have been disappointing. It really feels like things are declining, which is unfortunate because this place used to be reliable-especially for ramen and appetizers. I genuinely hope they turn things around, but based on my recent experiences, I can't recommend it right now.

My hubby is a diabetic and I asked the young lady behind the counter if all their dishes were prepared with sugar (a BIG "no no" for a diabetic) or was it possible to order a dish made WITHOUT sugar. We were told that many of the sauces for some dishes are already prepared containing sugar, but, some of those dishes contain a very small amount of sugar. Also, they had some dishes containing no sugar at all. This was pleasing to our ears and we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was was not large, and was neat and clean. It was fairly full already but we were seated immediately and given menus by a very friendly server who asked us what beverages we would like while deciding on our meal. We both are seafood lovers so we chose an appetizer of crab rangoons (6). I opted for an Asian Shrimp lunch special which came with a cup of very good, egg drop soup that had a suprisingly delicate, but very pleasant, enjoyable taste. Not the strong chicken noodly flavor that some places serve. I ate EVERY DROP. The sauce was "labeled .. hot garlic sauce" but my inquiry as to "how hot" was answered as "very little". It was quite good ... and the portion was large (literally half of the plate). It came with tasty fried rice with a small amount of veggies in it that filled the other half of the plate! What an excellent lunch special and all of it .. cup of egg drop soup, jumbo shrimp with mixed veggies and fried rice .. all for only $10.99! I couldn't eat it all and took 1/2 of the shrimp dish home as well as the 6 crab rangoons ($6.99). We had ordered them to go. My hubby opted for a shrimp dish as well ... Thai Cashew Nut Shrimp .. lightly breaded jumbo shrimp, onion, green peppers, and carrots served in a very tasty brown sweet chili sauce .. Again JUMBO shrimp .. a large portion of about 10 shrimp at a cost of $15.99. Hubby changed the white rice to fried rice with only a $2.00 upcharge. Hubby ate the whole thing! She never once cracked a smile and it almost felt like we might have been bothering her by just being there. I went for a standard beef and meatball pho and the summer rolls, as I do love a good summer roll.
