I had the chicken and broccoli spicy with 3 egg rolls (based on another review that said the egg rolls were the best in the area). The chicken and broccoli was 5/10. Everything was cooked well but it was very bland. Tasted like mildly spiced oil and water. But edible. The egg rolls seemed old some how. They were freshly fried but the inside was mushy and had a weird smell. I could not get it down. 1/10. Ambiance - is to be expected for a takeout Chinese spot. This is just my opinion. Most people seem to like this spot. Give it a try. UPDATE: The chicken & broccoli was better as leftovers. Maybe it needed to sit. Updated rating 6.8/10.

Nothing against the wonderful Asian population, but often times it's difficult to understand them when I call into Chinese take-out spots. With that said, my order was placed with ease and my food was already waiting for me on the counter when I arrived. That's what I call good service! My order of beef Lo Mein and combination special of sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice was surprisingly good. The food was reminiscent of New York style Chinese takeout so I must say I was taken a back. The Lo Mein tasted good but I will say it had a lot of sauce and was slightly softer than I prefer. The sweet and sour chicken was typical of anywhere but the pork fried rice had a smoked flavor to it which gave it a nice touch. You could really taste that hot fired-up wok! The only negative I would say about this first experience was that the egg roll was not fresh and seemed fried twice yet still more mushy than crispy. I'm interested in trying other menu items but I should pace myself because healthy eating isn't a synonym for Chinese take out.
