This was great. Really no idea what I was in for with most of the menu because I'm not familiar with Vietnamese food, but the pho (pronounced "feh") was pho-nomenal? Perfect soup for a cold raw or rainy day. Ask for garlic if you like. Btw I was hungry and I just barely put down a medium bowl. read more

Best pho around!!!!! Tastes just like Vietnam. Always fresh basil and yummy chili paste! I always get the rare beef and shrimp Vietnamese salad!!! Lots of other great items but these are my staples. read more

We have dined at Pho Paris numerous time while on road trips to and from Boston. On the way to the airport, on the way back, Costco trip (we live in Maine), sightseeing in Boston, back and forth from Mass General and we figured it was about time to give them some well deserved Yelp love. Conveniently located off of Rt 1 in a small strip mall is this little gem. The pho has always been a hit with rich broth and generous meat portions. Their coffee is great and spring rolls super fresh and delicious. We have tried many other entrees including the beef stew soup (Bo Kho), the rice dishes with grilled pork and other appetizers. Fast friendly service, take out available and super accessible when you are really hungry on Rt 1!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Excellent service and excellent food! I love their chicken pho and pork spring rolls.

I think they put crack in the soup...I AM ADDICTED!!! I've had Pho before but, my goodness the bowl I had at Pho Paris was AMAZING!! I had the beef pho dac biet ( special) ( I won't even try to pronounce it out of respect for it's deliciousness). Service was quick, the restaurant was clean - especially the bathroom - always a good sign. Definitely going back again and maybe even trying something new. read more

Pho Paris - A very special Beef Special Pho - Vietnamese Near Me - Peabody, Massachusetts

Pho is my go-to road trip comfort food and this place was perfectly located right outside of Boston. Great pho and great spring rolls. Service was a bit inattentive but still friendly and good nonetheless. So yummy! Definitely get the Vietnamese iced coffee here too. read more

All I could ever ask for in pho. Service is quick and efficient, and friendly. Pho broth is complex and has many subtleties of flavor. They are generous with the basil, bean sprouts and lime. One of the other reasons I love this place is for their iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk. A decadent treat that I know is definitely not healthy. I must have it every time. I am interested in their other dishes but will probably never try them since I love the pho so much! read more

Pho Paris - Pho tai. Yum! - Vietnamese Near Me - Peabody, Massachusetts

The location of this place is good, I have to admit though, I don't like this 2 mile stretch of road where you can't just turn around if you miss it! The interior of this place is decorated with lamps that they never turn on with fake leaves hanging from the top and over the lamp. The walls have seashell etching throughout, but they need to be cleaned! Chairs are all wood, no padding. Temperature (it's November) wise, you will need a sweater. I had the salted fried squid (122) which comes with lightly fried onions and peppers over a bed of shredded lettuce all topped with cilantro leaves which gives it a nice flavor when eaten with chunks of fried calamari. It is simple yet so delicious! You don't need hoison sauce (brown stuff they keep in unmarked bottles around here) but can dip it if you like to mask the flavor of your food. I also had Pho, #31 which was beef. They gave me 3 pieces of jalapeño! I only ate two. They give plenty of sprouts and basil to add. I would give this place 4.5 stars and not 5 because of the cleanliness of the place and how slow the service is. I was not in a hurry but waited a long time for my food, and saw many take out orders waiting longer than they expected, by about 20 minutes. From start to finish, took 1.5 hours. read more

Excellent Pho! We are from Southern California and have a lot of good Pho places however this is among the best I've had. Service was friendly and fast. The place was spotless. Huge variety in the menu. When we visit our daughter at college, we will be back! read more

My husband and I frequent this place because it 1) has decent pho and 2)it's really close by. My husband typically goes for the pho while I venture off from it. So far, I haven't encountered anything that I would not recommend to try. If Vietnamese food is very new to you, this place is a good introduction to it if you're in the North Shore area. Besides pho bo(beef noodle soup), I would try the following: -vermicelli bowls (or bun) - rice vermicelli noodles with assorted grill meats. They come with a fish sauce dressing on the side. It has lots of vegetables too that you can mix all together. It's a great summer time entree. - rice plates. There are assorted items that are listed on the rice plate, but if you want to try something adventurous, I would get the plates with pork skin and meatloaf. Don't worry though, these plates also can come with the familiar pork chop(marinated and grilled in Vietnamese flavors). - smoothies/shakes - these are fruit based but they are thick, creamy and sweet. Avocado shakes won't steer you wrong. The restaurant has changed owners and now focuses on primarily Vietnamese food. The service is generally smooth and friendly. read more

I want to let the owner of this restaurant know that I had a bad experience for my dinner tonight. I ordered an avocado shake with boba. however, for some reason, the boba tastes weird, and it had bitter taste to it. I told the waiter about this to have them make me another one. They just stirred my drink, took out the boba, and gave it back to me. I asked them what they had done, and they just took out the boba, stirred my drink, and gave it back to me. And she said yes and can not make me a new one. I found this is not acceptable. The boba is not fresh. and they contaminated my drink, stirred it around, and gave it back to me. I told them that if they don't make me a new one, just take it out of my bill. But the waiter told me they could not do that. Working in a food industry needs to ensure things are fresh before giving to the customer and consumed. I reiterate the waiter that if I consume that drink if I have a problem with it and end it up at the hospital. it will be their fault. The waiter finally made me a new one. I found that this behavior from the waiter is really rude and unacceptable. She can not just take out the bad boba, stir my drink, and give it back to me. This is a very bad customer service, and I spent 65 bucks to this place with bad customer service and not concerning any healthy standards guidelines when working in the restaurant. it's totally unacceptable. read more

was in the area for a wedding and woke up hungover. was not expecting to find good pho in the area but stumbled upon this place and it was honestly really good! tasted authentic and delicious. i had the pho and my partner had the bun bo hue. both were yummy. the grilled pork spring rolls were also flavorful and a good appetizer too! read more

We live about 30 min. away, but this is our favorite Vietnamese place in our area. We usually get chicken pho and shrimp spring rolls, but the hubs sometimes orders some sort of beef-and-rice dish, and he likes that, too. If you need to fulfill that pho fix, this is the place to go. I've been to a few places on the north shore that offer pho, but they haven't been as good as this place. Pho Paris has a pretty large pho menu with a lot of different options and combos. It's a simple place - they bring you in, seat you, take your order and your pho is out of the kitchen in decently good time. Went here by myself and probably spent about 30-35 minutes here total. Definitely the place to go if you need that pho! read more

I highly recommend you check out this place. Everything was solid. We went in and while the decor was very sparse, the smell was amazing. We ordered some Cha Gio, crispy spring rolls. We also ordered Chicken Pho (Pho Ga), and Chicken over rice (Com Ga Nuong), and finally the Shrimp Paste over Sugar Cane with Rice noodles (Chao Tom). We also order some boba tea to drink while we waited for our food. I love taro root, so I enjoyed the crispy spring rolls immensely. They weren't super greasy and the fish sauce was very tangy and delicious. The Pho Ga was delicious, and the temperature was hot just the way I like. The chicken over broken rice had some pluses and minuses. The plus was they used an ample amount of chicken and it wasn't the flimsy thin slices that are often given on that dish, however the chicken was a bit fatty and was a lot of dark meat. Finally the Shrimp paste was cooked to perfection. My only complaint is that they only give you two pieces, which is skimpy. Usually you are given four or more pieces at the places I frequent in my hometown. Also they gave mint instead of basil, which is just a preference rather than a problem. Overall it was a delightful meal with a friendly waitstaff. I would definitely visit again if I were in the area. read more

Best pho around. Huge menu. Quick service. Take out and eat in. Pick your size of pho bowl.

Drink was good Thai Tea. I ordered spring rolls making the mistake of not specifying fried. My bad. Sent them back. This time I got pork and shrimp...I do not eat shrimp. I sent them back as this was inedible. Finally my lunch order was the Chicken special of the day. The meat was dubious at best. There were tendons and cartilage with a thick skin. Ok check please. They charged me for the appetizer I didn't eat! Never apologizing for the poor food quality. The location otherwise needs a remodel. The men's room fan makes a horrible sound. Two thumbs way down. read more

our go-to place for vietnamese food! we just wish they offered delivery for where we live, but maybe that's good for our wallets. we've had better pho in other places, but it's a solid place for beef pho in the north shore area whenever we just want to pick up takeout. their grilled pork chops are also delicious; you definitely have to get them over rice as com thit nuong or over noodles as bun thit nuong. their vietnamese iced coffee is also pretty good, and we order it every time to go with our meals. read more

It's difficult to find good, authentic food out here in the suburbs. Sure, this place has a view of a gas station and the inside walls are stuck in the 80s. But, let's just focus on the food. A small bowl of well cooked brisket Pho was all I wanted today. Service was quick, everyone was so friendly and the TV wasn't too loud. Best part of the meal was actually the Vietnamese coffee. Absolutely sweet and strong. The brisket had a bit of fat on it, otherwise I would've added that last star. if you're in the area, bored in traffic on Highway 1, then I highly recommend this place! read more

Food was good but service was horrible. Restaurant was not busy. Server never greeted us when seated. Water was served luke warm. Meals did not arrived at the same time. We sat there and waited until all of our dishes arrived so we can eat together. During our meal, server never asked if everything was good. He walked straight into the kitchen. When we were finished eating and asked for the check he cleared the table and brought it to us. We payed the bill and left a tip. The server comes to us and DEMANDED we tip more, we told him he is lucky he got a 10% tip with his bad service. He asked if we were from America, which was very racist. Then told us we are not welcomed back. read more

I got here regularly for their rice plate with pork chops and Pho. It's a great place for quality Viet food. Decor needs to be updated and the bathrooms redone because they look dirty from age. These couple changes would enhance the food hole experience. Service is fantastic and food comes out fast. They are fine with some customization of menu items as well. I'd recommend Pho Paris to anyone. read more

Deliciously amazing. Apps: - Chicken spring rolls: Delicious. I usually get tofu but had to get chicken this time since not a lot of places offer them. - Lime leaf Beef: Tasty. Ground beef (like those meatballs in pho) wrapped in lime leaves and grilled. They also had a marinade on them. Very tasty - i just dont like the meatball consistency. - Veggie Pancake: Decent. Not a dough but more like a light omelette folded over sprouts, cabbage etc. Not my thing but companion loved it. Main: - Pho w/flank steak: Tasty. Broth got a total thumbs up from companion. - Lemongrass chicken: Delicious. Flavorful stir fry, would eat this 100x over. Top it all off with viet iced coffee and a fresh limeade. Great service, awkward strip mall location. Highly recommended!! read more

For us, broth makes the pho and this place has awesome broth! Since I am not a big meat or carb eater, I like that they have the option to add mixed vegetables to the pho too. Sadly inflation had reach one of the best hole in the wall restaurant . Though the staff is super friendly the food quality DECLINE as the price margin continues to RISE ! I'm a routine customer when there were barely half capacity on a Friday, so I'm pretty frustrated on even writhing this review. I've Oder the the rice and pork chops: the meal is about $15 befor rougly $13. The quality in the pork chop is all fat no meat I frequantly ask for soup on the side. None was ever delivered. paying more for less service and food quality. Guess the drive to Dorchester for Viet food ain't so bad after all. read more
