I ordered a Chicken Pho bowl, which definitely was better than I expected and hit the spot. Meat was tender, the broth was nice and hot and my noodles were cooked how I like them. Also had a side bread that was warm and crispy and a alot bigger than expected. Service was great definitely recommend. Also had the watermelon smoothie that was nice cold, and delicious.

This is one of the best pho restaurants around. Service is always fast. The broth is delicious, the portion size is huge. My kids specifically ask to go here, you know the pho place with the cat that waves at you. Clean, fast and friendly you can't go wrong with this place!

11/5/21 Friendly ma and pa business. Pho was good but nothing crazy. Price is better than most places. Tarp bubble tea was on point! And spring roll and fried egg rolls are good too.

Picked up to go the other night. I ordered a large Pho without meat & it was delicious! Very tasty , great portion , everything was fresh. The left overs also tasted good reheated the next day. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the rude customer service when I picked up my food. Otherwise it would have been a solid 5 stars.

First time ordering with uber eats and fried rice was a disappointment. I also ordered Pad Thai and it's the worst one I've had.

I went here on an early morning right at opening time, I wanted to take some hot pho and spring rolls to scarf them down at home. Well, I stepped inside 10 minutes after opening and the older gentleman immediately gave me a look that my business wasnt wanted. I was the first customer that day clearly, and I felt like I shouldn't have gone in so early? Since I made a drive, I asked for a menu for to-go order and he proceeded to give me menu and go about cleaning the floor. The whole restaurant had the smell of cleaning products plus some old food stench. I asked for pho and tofu spring roll to-go and he asked me if thats it. I said yes and he said ok come back in 10-15 min so I actually had to leave restaurant (I cant remember if I decided to walk back to my car or walk across the street to Hong Kong Market to browse little bit or both because I got a bit anxious by the service I received). Food was mediocre at best. Broth was a bit salty for me, noodle was not soft, Spring Roll was fine. I will not return to this business again solely from the experience I had. I know that this place is much loved, long standing local restaurant with lots of support and I know I cant judge a place from just one visit, but once was enough for me.

I could not hear my family over a 4 person table, coz it doubles as a bar upstairs. But its clean, and decorated well. There's just enough seating for people to come have food. BTW, parking is shared w a market, there was barely any parking when I got there. The parking is also a little narrow, especially when people dont park correctly. Service: very good. They were quick and friendly. No complaints. Food: love the food here. I had the quail fried rice thay came with salad and a side of the pho broth. Broth is flavorful, so Im sure the pho is good. The quail was also marinated nicely, with a tomato based fried rice which was not oily, and just the right amount of flavor. We also ordered two orders of spring rolls, which was more than we thought! One order is the one plate of 2 spring rolls cut in half - so four pieces. Pleasant surprise i suppose, more spring rolls!

Perfect spot for Vietnamese street food and late-night cravings, but a nightmare of a parking lot…read more My family was visiting from California last month, and naturally we needed to find somewhere to feed our party of 6 after our Seattle tourist trip. We arrived around 9 PM on a Thursday; I picked this restaurant because we were all craving Vietnamese food, and thankfully La Cà Bar is open late enough that we were still able to spend time eating together over a yummy meal. We sat downstairs since we were there primarily for the food and wanted to actually sit down and eat together. It was pretty empty when we arrived aside from one table, and we were able to seat ourselves wherever we wanted. They close at midnight, so arriving around 9 PM still gave us plenty of time to order, eat, and enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. And then we proceeded to order an unreasonable amount of food. Everything we tried was delicious. The spring rolls were definitely superb (especially when dipped in the sauce), and I highly recommend getting a few for the table because apparently my family and I devoured them ASAP while waiting for our main course. I had to get the Bánh Xèo, because I have absolutely no self-control when I see it on a menu. The crepe was savory, filling, and delicious. Since it was cold that night, I also ordered Bún Bò Huế, because apparently being cold means I need to consume an entire bowl of spicy soup. I personally missed the classic cubes of pork blood that I usually expect in Bún Bò Huế, but it was still flavorful and satisfying without them. I also noticed the food here leans more toward Northern Vietnamese-style cuisine, but everything we had was still really tasty. I somehow managed to finish most of my food despite ordering enough to feed a second family. My family enjoyed their meals too. My son got a bánh mì without the garnish and was impressed by how huge and satisfying it was. Teenagers can be difficult to impress, so when the teenager says the bánh mì is huge and good, I listen. Our server was also really nice and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Now, parking... Oh, sweet Jesus. The parking lot is TIGHT. The surrounding streets aren't particularly spacious either. If you have an SUV like myself, or anything larger, prepare yourself. I was genuinely relieved when I got back into my car and discovered that my vehicle had survived the evening without acquiring any new battle scars. But honestly? Worth it. The best part for me was how nostalgic the food felt. Vietnam is the country where I was born, so getting to sit down with my family and eat Vietnamese street food that reminded me of home was really special. We live far from where I grew up, so finding food that brings back even a little bit of that familiarity means a lot. And after moving away, I really appreciate those little moments where a meal can transport you somewhere for a couple of hours. So yes, 5 stars. Great late-night option, delicious food, friendly service, generous portions, and a menu that scratched the Vietnamese food itch perfectly.

Well that day has come. We ended up staying at a hotel nearby for a friend's wedding. We were getting hungry and I luckily checked Yelp and saw that I bookmarked this place when it showed up on my nearby food list. What a crazy coincidence. So we drive over and park on a side street. There was a small line outside and we waited patiently for a few minutes. Once inside, we were seated at the counter and it was packed, a little hot and everything smelled delicious. My friend and I both ordered the duck and pork noodle soup and it was maybe the best noodle soup I've ever had. The pork had crispy skin, the duck was soft and flavorful. It was all just so delicious. The iced coffee was strong and sweet. We also got the dessert. Make sure to add durian if they ask. It made it 1000x better if that's even possible. Honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. I'd definitely be back if I'm ever in Tacoma again.

I'm sad to say that this will be the last time my wife and I visit Indo Asian Street Eatery…read more We were regular customers for years and frequented this restaurant many times before the ownership change in 2025. Under the previous owners, the food, service, and overall experience were consistently excellent. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. The first thing I noticed was the food safety rating posted on the window, which simply stated "Okay." That immediately raised concerns. The second thing we noticed was how empty the restaurant was on a Saturday. There were only three other couples dining during our visit. This place used to be packed, which was never a good sign to see. After being seated, service was noticeably slow. It took about 15 minutes just to receive our drinks. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Korean Chicken, and Hot Wings. The Pad Thai was overly saucy and lacked the flavor we were accustomed to. The Hot Wings portion was surprisingly small, especially for the price. What ultimately ended our meal, however, was observing an employee eating in the open kitchen area while also handling items behind the counter. Watching this occur while customers' food was being prepared was extremely concerning. Whether intentional or not, it appeared to be a serious food safety issue, and it made us uncomfortable enough to stop eating immediately. At that point, we asked for the check and left disappointed and unsatisfied. It is unfortunate to see a once outstanding restaurant fall so far. The high standards of food quality, customer service, and food safety that made this place successful do not appear to have been maintained after the change in ownership. We won't be returning.

Pho King popped up in the Tacoma area and was the perfect mom and pop spot for some Pho and egg rolls. Super casual spot with friendly service and a decent sized menu. We tried the Pho King special which included eye round steak, flank, fatty flank, tendon, meatballs, and tripe. The broth had a depth of flavor and was so delicious. A good variety of meat, but I took off one star for the meatballs which had no flavor and the texture was off putting. We also ordered the shrimp and pork eggrolls which were flavorful and crispy. Dip it in the sauce and it kicks it up a notch. It was a super simple appetizer with no lettuce leaves to wrap it up in. Delicious Thai Tea with Boba was added to wash it all down. Overall, a great start to our vacation.

I'm usually craving something hearty and comforting after tough travel days, and after one particular trip we decided to try this place, so glad we did. The food tastes like what you expect, but what stood out to me was that you could tell they make everything fresh with quality ingredients. Plus, because the food wasn't too greasy, everything was pretty fresh. The pho came out just right, and they have a large variety on their menu, from Bánh mì to pho to rice and noodle dishes plus boba teas, smoothies, and half a page of desserts. Rose, the owner, personally greeted us and answered any questions we had. The other servers were just as helpful and friendly, everyone here was so lovely. Rose even gave us a little tea package of about 5 teas as a "goody" treat to take home. It was wild. I had never been to a place in or near Seattle where the owner was this sweet and loving to us. She even prayed over us, it was so nice. She basically knew most customers who walked in, and you can tell everyone here is super dedicated to the community. The restaurant is in a plaza with access to plenty of parking, and the restaurant itself is super nice and clean.
