Amazing amazing amazing. Big portion sizes, always amazing food, one of my STL favorites. Never fails to disappoint. Pho Long - N1 (one of the chicken soups) + chili paste & hoisin sauce - Vietnamese Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

Definitely one of my favorite Pho spots in St. Louis! Friendly staff! Great food! NO. 1 RECOMMENDED by my Vietnamese friends and I never argue with them when it comes to Pho. Usually the P8 is my "go to" for this place [Pho Dac Biet], but our server recommended couple new items to us. The "PS" and "P12". The "PS" is what you all must get! The broth is so much more tastier and heartier with their beef rib. My friend got the "P12" which had beef belly and was delicious as well. Realized theres not much to say about Pho...except just go get it!! I love that they open on Mondays! Sucks they close on Tueadays! Avoid going between 3pm to 5pm because they are closed! The true downfall! I crave hard for Pho on snowy days, but they close earlier when that happens, which I totally understand...but call them and ask before attempting to drive there. One of the worst feelings when you can't satisfy your cravings after risking your life to drive there in crappy weather. read more

This is my favorite pho restaurant in St. Louis. Their menu is really tight, putting their amazing phó front and center. Their broth is flavorful, yet delicate. It balances perfectly with the hand torn basil and cilantro served along side it. They even have vegan phó options available. They serve enormous portions at a very good price. If you want more than a steamy bowl of comfort, they have you covered with an assortment of appetizers (the crispy spring rolls are my favorite) and Vietnamese coffee. Be forewarned, they close in the middle of the day between lunch and dinner. I can't recommend this place enough. So good. read more

Pho was ok. To me the broth lack flavors. Everything in the bowl was adequate. This restaurant packs the bowl with a high ratio of noodle , broth and meat. They also give you cilantro if you like to add it to your bowl. But unlike other pho restaurant , one can get a side order or order pho with ox tail. For those of you who knows the prep of pho, these ox tail amongst other bones are used to make the broth. We got an appetizer of the chicken potstickers and wings. The potstickers was delicious and the wings were crispy and fried to perfection. I like the appetizer here better than their pho. Pho is all in the broth and here it lacks in flavor. read more

I was visiting STL for the weekend and was craving Pho. I was told to come here and they did not disappoint. The environment was very relaxed and clean. Waitress was very nice. We got the fried chicken which was amazing. I noticed almost every table had an order of it on their table. The batter wasn't overly oily. They serve it with a sweet/chili sauce. They have beef broth that serves any sorts of beef, then chicken broth for pho chicken. I decided to change it up and get the pho beef broth with chicken and I'm so glad I did. It was SO good. My husband got the pho chicken broth with chicken and said it was pretty good, but I preferred the beef broth. I'm also really happy they serve Saigon beer, which happens to be my favorite. We will definitely be back! read more

I ordered the pho with everything and the portion was awesome very big bowl. The broth was not as spiced or perfumed with enough anise and cinnamon the normal spices you would expect to taste in pho. The meats were very tender and the oxtails were delicious. Overall it took care of my craving for Vietnamese food. Ill have to return to try the rice dishes read more

The food was fine. But the service was so bad. I was waiting for 40mins to get spring roll.

Update: This is honestly my husband and I's favorite pho place in st. Louis. We go here at least once a month. If you are going to get something, get the P7 pho which has lean flank steak, that is my favorite. Plus some of their friend chicken dimplings make a great match. Since the hot water is poured over everything, make sure you pull everything apart so it will help it cook faster. They also bring out some cilantro, basil, limes, jalapenos, and sprouts to add to the mix. Don't forget the side sauces on the table, those make the best toppers! read more

Favorite pho place in the area, LOVE their broth. I always come here for my pho fix but kind of miss when when they were smaller before expanding and updating their space. Quality fresh ingredients (given browned veggie toppings, but not terrible) seem to be skimped as has service. We came in as party of 5 on a Friday after the lunch rush and we were cramped to a little corner table that would normally seat 4. We had the adjacent table pushed together to make space for us all, but they wouldn't allow it when they had plenty empty seats. I'm not one to make a huge fuss of it, although uncomfortable I thought it was manageable. However, picture 5 large soup bowls, our paired side plate of beef, our dipping sauce bowls, cups of water, utensils and our center plate of veggie toppings, condiments, and we had ordered 2 smoothie drinks (which had been forgotten but they made it right away once asked for it). BTW don't get mango smoothie, it's tasteless. Strawberry smoothie was good though. So, back to our tight situation..We had to rearrange the table every which way each time a bowl was brought out. And they couldn't even deal with it themselves, they would just hand our soup bowls midair and leave us to our own devices to make it fit. My brother got fed up with it all and just got up and seated himself at another table and sat alone behind us :( My dad got suuuper pissed that they had the audacity to charge us over 18% gratuity after all that. I would be back bc their food is really good and they're a friendly bunch, but wouldn't recommend for parties greater than 4 unless they readjust their seating situation. read more

Pho Long - 5 of us cramped in a corner for a table of 4. Plenty available seating/past lunch rush but wouldn't allow us to push two tables together. =/ - Vietnamese Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

Friendly and speedy service. Pho broth was tasty though I wish they would add more beef. Fried rolls are typical and nothing special but came out warm and crispy. read more

Five stars? Heck yeah. This is what you want when in search of deep brothy goodness. Basic neat and clean front of house. Tile floors, decent color coordination makes a pleasant first look. Pho12 has sliced rare beef, delicious oxtail and a Vietnamese "meatloaf" I maintain it merely as "mystery meat". Broth simmered and reduced overnight with various and sundry beef deliciousness items. Spices added and you have a soul satisfying mega bowl of sweet love combined with the joy of slurping the oh so fatty meat from the oxtail. Sound a little gross, very tasty. Somebody tell me of more Pho purity in STL and I'll be glad to go. read more

We dropped by for lunch. For a popular city such as St. Louis unfortunately it doesn't have anywhere close to the number of Vietnamese restaurants as others. Fewer competition might have its toll on the quality of the food. We ordered Pho. It's forgettable, at best. Let me put it this way. If you go out to an Asian supermarket to get a packet of beef (or chicken) Pho in powder, then broil it up along with some green onion, basil and chicken or beef, you'd then get at least an as good as if not better Pho bowl than the ones served over here. The restaurant is in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking spaces. It's relatively clean and there's nothing in particular to say about its decor. The service is below average as it took time on that day for us to get our meals, though it was 1:30 pm and it wasn't crowded at all, and the waitress was not particularly nice on that day either. I can't recommend this place. If you want Vietnamese or Chinese food in general Wonton King a few hundreds feet away is a better choice. But if you really crave Pho, give Mai Lee on Musick Memorial Dr. a chance or even Wonton King close by should be a better choice. read more

I am surprised by a lot of these 5 stars... but at best it just means this restaurant is pretty inconsistent. Maybe we caught them on the worst day possible, where someone had to fill in in the kitchen and had no idea what they're doing? The menu is compact, and focus is usually a good sign. But no... We probably won't ever in our continued search for good pho because Pho Long missed some of the most basic things. Spring rolls made ahead of time? I really just don't get that. 2 spring rolls take literally 30 seconds to make fresh if you have all the ingredients prepped as a restaurant should. I have never received fridge-cold rolls with chewy dried out rice paper. So unpleasant to eat, esp at the edges where the paper layers overlap more. Bland too, likely cuz of temperature as well as lack of herbs (just wilting iceberg inside). This is like... a sign that the restaurant isn't even trying anymore :/ The broths... we got 2, 1 pho and 1 hu tieu. the hu tieu being right was a bit of a long shot, but the pho... I can't believe how bad it was. Eve though mai lee's lacked spice and depth, it was a salty fish-sauce heavy beef broth. This pho was practically water. At least the herbs we got were fresh? The worst part was how both dishes tasted like the excess starch from the noodles somehow made it into the broth. Maybe they weren't rinsed. Maybe someone skipped a step and boiled noodles directly in broth. I've made this mistake my very first time using rice noodles at too, but this is a restaurant with PHO in the name! Sigh. All of this is just to say... I am extra disappointed because I was looking forward to good pho :( Unless someone we trust swears by this place in the future, or we are desperate in the area again someday, we probably won't return. read more

Now where do I start..... I came in expecting decent Vietnamese food, and what I got was the worst I have ever had. I ordered the crispy tofu, and some pho. The crispy tofu was very bland and mushy The peanut sauce on the side was so runny, it didn't even stick to the tofu. The pho was absolutely horrible, it had a thick layer of oil on and had to have a lot of MSG. I say that because whenever I eat msg my tongue gets slightly numb. I only ate my food because it took so long to get out, and I was starving! The pho broth was horrible! You couldn't pay me to eat here again. I'll post the pics of my pho on here. I usually go to Dao Tien right across the street, please do yourself a favor and go there!! read more

We had a couple of wonderful bowls of phōhere yesterday. I have to admit that they are even better than our previous favorite phō restaurant. The broth base is rich and flavorful, they give you LOTS of meat, and the garnishes are fresh and plentiful. We also enjoyed their fried tofu appetizer, though it's a little soft, rather than crisp. They were packed, but service was good, and we got a table immediately. We'll be back! read more

This location on Olive is open. The Pho is so dense and complex with flavors. Perfect Sunday lunch. Top 3 Pho in St. Louis for sure!!!

Very authentic Asian cuisine.. most of their main dishes are different variations of pho. I ordered their Pho Chin Nam (beef soup and well-done, thinly sliced brisket). I was a little disappointed with the dish, It lacked flavor, the meat was a little tough and the pho didn't include too many thinks to add to It (cilantro, basil & beansprouts). The service was great. Our waitress was really attentive even though the place was packed and there weren't many other waitresses. read more

Pho Long. What makes you stand out over other pho places? Cheap and lots of meat. The pho you order here, is the definitely on the cheaper side without skimping out on quality. They also give you the most meat for the bang of the buck without having to order extra. Other than that, pretty standard pho place, hole in the wall, average amount of seating. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and want some good pho for a smaller budget read more

Okay, so I lived in California for 22 years and ate pho from here to Sydney to Singapore to Japan to almost every state. The broth is right on! I had the chef special with oxtail and it was yummm. I agree with my friend and fellow Yelper Randall M. Pho Long deserves five stars. For such a humble place, Pho Long is probably my favorite restaurant in Saint Louis. The food is amazing, the service is friendly and warm, the place is clean and neat. Especially during the colder months, nothing earns the title of ultimate comfort food like a big bowl of pho. The warm, fragrant broth; the tender meats; the slick noodles; Yum! Many of Pho Longs other offers are equally good. We have devoured many a spring roll, both hot and cold, as well as dumplings and rice dishes. They are all great. read more

LOVE this place. Since I've been going they've changed the menu 1 or 2 times. I typically get a glass noodle soup with shrimp and sometimes with calamari. Their broth is PHENOMENAL. It was our first time visit this restaurant. Clean and bright environment. Self seated. Waited for a little while to be serviced. P6 Pho Duoi Bo. $9.95. It is a ox tail pho. My favorite spot for beef pho & spring rolls. I come here weekly for the pho, I order the P1, rare beef, thinly sliced. The pho is full of flavor. It's served with rice noodles and onions. I recently dined here a couple weeks ago......I tried a little bit of everything...from spring rolls to egg rolls, rice dish, pho. I did not care for their spring rolls or egg rolls at all...2 of them for a little over 4$ is a bit pricy considering it was a bit bland. Their egg rolls use to be very flavorful, I'm not sure what happened. Maybe I had a bad batch. Their rice dish is also bland. I understand they are trying to provide a healthy concept but there was no flavor in most of the dishes I tried! But I have to say the pho broth was on point. I've read mixed reviews and I'm sure it could be a hit or miss with the broth since it's being made fresh everyday. Hey read more

Currently my favorite pho in town! Huge portions, great prices, prompt service, and the richest broth flavor I've so far encountered. Great trendy upscale space and decor, good noise levels for conversation without feeling like your chatter is being broadcast to everyone. Tried the pho tai, chin nam (P2) (pho with rare eye of round and brisket), wonderful broth and noodles! Brisket was a little chewy and bland, but the round-eye was delicious and flavorful! Highly recommend. Tried husband's oxtail pho (P6) also, much deeper and richer beef flavor than the lighter round-eye broth, but also wonderful. Plenty of fresh add-ins (cilantro, basil, jalapeños, limes, bean sprouts, etc.) to customize your dish to your taste. Bright, fragrant jasmine tea, and crispy egg rolls rounded out our meal. Will definitely visit again! read more
