    Salad rolls and chicken wings
    Chad P.

Great visit here! I'm from the West Coast where I feel like Vietnamese is more plentiful so it was really nice to finally check this place out after all of the hype my friends have given me. I put in for reservations on a Saturday evening outside and I'm not sure if I needed it. However it was a great experience overall. Charlie was our waiter and he was super helpful and friendly. We shared some appetizers of salad rolls as well as the chicken wings. Five stars for those! My friend had the banh mi and I had the pho with meatball and brisket. Five stars! Delicious food! Literally all top notch. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

Came here after graduation to celebrate my cousin, and it was a great spot for a laid-back meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pho Lang Tang has a modern Vietnamese kitchen vibe that feels clean and welcoming, and it was easy to sit, relax, and actually have a conversation without too much noise.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a variety of entrees, but the highlight was definitely the pho. The broth tasted very close to what you'd find in California and even Vietnam, which was a pleasant surprise. Really rich, balanced, and comforting. The only downside was the lack of fresh herbs on the side. It only came with a dish of bean sprouts, so it felt like it was missing that extra freshness that usually completes a bowl of pho. Service was amazing, mostly students from UC. But everyone was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Parking was pretty easy, which made the whole experience even smoother. Overall, still a solid spot, especially if you're craving pho that tastes authentic.

Came in for late dinner after arriving into town. Felt like something got and the pho fits the ticket. Has a side salad to go with it and tried the supposedly best chicken wings in town. Service was great. Wings were ok. A tad dry for me. Simple salad meets my needs. The bowls of pho had generous amount of noodles. Good amount of protein as well. I like the 4 protein bowl because of the tendons.

Update- still legit and still amazing. If you haven't tried Vietnamese food this is Cincinnati's spot. Authentic and fresh with amazing fun staff. Also if I had not mentioned it, the best espresso martinis in Cincinnati hands down and I'm very picky about my espresso. Give them and Findlay Market a try.

Pros: Great location in Cincy [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the retro decor[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pho had a wonderful flavor and the portion was large Delcious summer roll with tasty peanut dip Bahn Mi had tender meat and the bread gave it a nice balance [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's bar seating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cons: Parking can be a challenge in their area - shoot to park on the street Service can be slow but it's worth the wait Pro tip: Would be fun to sit at the bar for happy hour and have a bowl of pho

Food was great got the brisket and steak phő. Also had wings and spring rolls. Everything was delicious! Servers had an attitude off the bat which was uncalled for and didn't let up till they dropped of the check with a fake happy attitude. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant had a lot of seating inside and a bar in the middle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food, outdoor seating and service were all wonderful. It's in a super cute little neighborhood as well that's super walkable. We loved it.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm from a very Vietnamese area and this pho matched some of the best I've had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely more of a western, modern vibe than a traditional Vietnamese pho house but great food with lots of food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would recommend.

Overall pretty good experience. I learned that I am not a fan of rare steak so the app was probably not for me but the Pho was delicious and came out ridiculously fast. I ordered the smaller size and the portion was still very generous. Highly recommend experimenting with the sriracha, soy and Hoisin sauce at the table with your pho, added a lot of additional flavor.

I recently moved to the greater Cincinnati area from Los Angeles, and let me tell you--LA has an amazing Asian food scene. I've been searching for something just as tasty and authentic here, and Pho Lang Thang absolutely delivers! The broth is rich, flavorful, and easily beats some of the pho spots back in LA (which says a lot). I'll definitely be a regular here. So far, nothing in Cincinnati compares! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service is impeccable and the restaurant ambience is beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pho Lang Thang is a gem in Cincinnati that absolutely deserves the recognition. I had the Bún Ga paired with a Malbec while my girlfriend went with the Bún Chay and a sparkling white wine, and we were both completely satisfied. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the drinks complemented everything beautifully. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside on a gorgeous day which made the whole experience feel like a little escape[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and our server was friendly and attentive without ever making us feel rushed. A must visit.

    Chao Cho Ga (Chicken Congee)

Service was great. Not a lot of people there when I went for a late lunch (2:30pm ish). The Chao Ga (Chicken Congee) was good. Had a solid flavor but can tell it wasn't bathed in the chicken stock enough. Only gripe was that the chicken was non existent. Having white pepper would've elevated the dish as well. The Pho Dac Biet was packed. Had an abundant amount of protein in there, which is contrary to a lot of "newer" places to cut costs so that was refreshing. The broth, like the Chao Ga, could've used more time cooking in the beef bone broth. I definitely tasted the toasted spices more than I did the flavor from the beef bones traditionally. Honestly, way better than I would've thought for Cincinnati to be frank. The Cafe Sua Da was normal. Nothing special. Not overly sweet or too bitter. They definitely used a different type of bean than most Cafe Sua Da I've had around the US and VN. When you walk in, the decor was very deceiving based on what the pictures of the food looked like. Very hipster decor with some traditional Vietnamese decor as well. I told the bartender/waiter that was serving me, it felt like it had Vietnamese guts and a hipster exterior.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service and a super clean restaurant![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My partner tried pho for the first time here, and he couldn't stop raving about it after we left. We started with the chicken wing appetizer -- phenomenal -- crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I ordered the large chicken pho, and the broth had the most delicious, comforting flavor. The Vietnamese drip coffee was strong, rich, and honestly brought me back to life. Our server was so sweet! She was wearing a fun Halloween cat shirt, and we ended up chatting about our upcoming trip to Salem. It made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I do miss the old location, though -- I used to live in LA and still miss those little hole-in-the-wall pho spots -- but this place definitely fills that void.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is officially my wintertime go-to for hot, steamy pho.

The server/bartender was very polite and helpful, and even held my cc after leaving it during my visit because I was so high on a crispy flavor cloud I didn't even care how I would pay for the rest of my trip. All in all an absolute must visit for fish Friday or honestly any day of the week. I hear the wings are also something to write home about.

We decided we didn't want drinks today and normally we do order alcohol, so not sure if we were being ignored more for that reason? We were very unclear who was serving us as two or three people asked if we wanted drinks and then we saw hardly anyone after we said no. Our food took 45 minutes to be served with no updates from a server or apologies for the wait, despite other tables (who came in after us) around us being apologized to and getting food before us. My breakfast poutine was also sub-par today, the egg was forgotten and brought out several minutes later, overcooked and rubbery. Normally we have a great experience here but today just really missed. We would have been more understanding if there were an ounce of communication but if our food had arrived 5 minutes later we would have left before it arrived (we just had waters at that point since we did a lot of drinking for the holiday last night). Will be interested to see if our experience stays consistent in future visits. And I really hope our experience wasn't just because we opted out of bar drinks today.

The bloody itself was tasty, though I prefer mine to be a little spicier. We got the Hawt Mess and Breakfast Poutine and both were delicious.
