Tofu Banh Mi - Chay (Tofu)
Sheryar K.

Sat outside had a wonderful server. Hadn't been here in over 1 year and are planning a trip to Vietnam to decided to get some of the flavors in early. The coffee is strong but yummy. The tofu bahn Mi is soooo good I could eat 3 in one sitting!!! The plate felt healthy and the meat was seasoned perfect, adding siracha to the rice was perfect.

Bánh Bò Nướng Lá Dứa (Baked Pandan Sponge Cake)

Vietnamese food was solid. The beef I got with my bun bo nuong was seasoned and tender. I couldn't eat the entire bowl so ended up taking home left overs. We were lucky to arrive during happy hour and took advantage. It was $2 off cocktails and discounted selected appetizers. The Ha Noi Breeze cocktail was very easy to drink and smelled so good. It felt like a spin on a lemon drop. Couldn't help but oogle the dessert case on the way out and snagged some treats I haven't had in awhile. Went for the pandan spongecake and ube coco jelly cup. Service was friendly and attentive. Venue clean. Street parking available and affordable.

So delicious! Definitely worth stopping in next time you're downtown Cincinnati or at Findlay Market. The sandwich bread is phenomenal.

We've been making the hour‑and‑a‑half trek to Pho Lang Tang for a few years now, and it still hits like the first time. This spot is a true favorite in Cincinnati * the kind of place you plan a whole day around because you know it's going to be worth it. Vietnamese carpaccio * A must‑order every single visit. Bright, tender, citrusy, and just ridiculously fresh. Toki highballs * Light, crisp, and perfect with all the bold Vietnamese flavors. Always a vibe. We went full DIY mode this time -- mixing their rich, aromatic housemade beef broth with Toki for a fun little broth back situation. The new bakery inside this year is such a win. These cream puffs are airy, not too sweet, and the coffee cream filling. We should have grabbed a box for the road !! Pho Lang Thang nails consistency * The flavors are deep, the service and vibes are welcoming, and the menu keeps evolving in the best ways. It's the kind of place that becomes a tradition * and for us, it has. Menu Recommendations: Try it all !! We have and it's worth it ! Added extra pics of our favorite bites!

Delicious spot! Excellent flavors. I really loved the mushroom congee, the taste and consistency were perfect. I could see parking being a challenge but we were able to park right outside. Staff were very kind and attentive. The environment was open and spread out.

Great visit here! I'm from the West Coast where I feel like Vietnamese is more plentiful so it was really nice to finally check this place out after all of the hype my friends have given me. I put in for reservations on a Saturday evening outside and I'm not sure if I needed it. However it was a great experience overall. Charlie was our waiter and he was super helpful and friendly. We shared some appetizers of salad rolls as well as the chicken wings. Five stars for those! My friend had the banh mi and I had the pho with meatball and brisket. Five stars! Delicious food! Literally all top notch. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

Came here after graduation to celebrate my cousin, and it was a great spot for a laid-back meal. Pho Lang Tang has a modern Vietnamese kitchen vibe that feels clean and welcoming, and it was easy to sit, relax, and actually have a conversation without too much noise. We ordered a variety of entrees, but the highlight was definitely the pho. The broth tasted very close to what you'd find in California and even Vietnam, which was a pleasant surprise. Really rich, balanced, and comforting. The only downside was the lack of fresh herbs on the side. It only came with a dish of bean sprouts, so it felt like it was missing that extra freshness that usually completes a bowl of pho. Service was amazing, mostly students from UC. But everyone was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Parking was pretty easy, which made the whole experience even smoother. Overall, still a solid spot, especially if you're craving pho that tastes authentic.

Pros: Great location in Cincy Love the retro decor Pho had a wonderful flavor and the portion was large Delcious summer roll with tasty peanut dip Bahn Mi had tender meat and the bread gave it a nice balance There's bar seating Cons: Parking can be a challenge in their area - shoot to park on the street Service can be slow but it's worth the wait Pro tip: Would be fun to sit at the bar for happy hour and have a bowl of pho

Chicken wings

Came in for late dinner after arriving into town. Felt like something got and the pho fits the ticket. Has a side salad to go with it and tried the supposedly best chicken wings in town. Service was great. Wings were ok. A tad dry for me. Simple salad meets my needs. The bowls of pho had generous amount of noodles. Good amount of protein as well. I like the 4 protein bowl because of the tendons.

Update- still legit and still amazing. If you haven't tried Vietnamese food this is Cincinnati's spot. Authentic and fresh with amazing fun staff. Also if I had not mentioned it, the best espresso martinis in Cincinnati hands down and I'm very picky about my espresso. Give them and Findlay Market a try.

Food was great got the brisket and steak phő. Also had wings and spring rolls. Everything was delicious! Servers had an attitude off the bat which was uncalled for and didn't let up till they dropped of the check with a fake happy attitude. Restaurant had a lot of seating inside and a bar in the middle.

Great spot! I'm from a very Vietnamese area and this pho matched some of the best I've had. Definitely more of a western, modern vibe than a traditional Vietnamese pho house but great food with lots of food. Would recommend.

Overall pretty good experience. I learned that I am not a fan of rare steak so the app was probably not for me but the Pho was delicious and came out ridiculously fast. I ordered the smaller size and the portion was still very generous. Highly recommend experimenting with the sriracha, soy and Hoisin sauce at the table with your pho, added a lot of additional flavor.

We really don't like the new location and it has dampened our enthusiasm for going. The food is great, but the new location is soulless.

The sugar it was rolled in was even infused with early grey flavor! The interior is on the smaller side, but there is seating and Ludlow Square is only a short walk away. It is loaded with pecans, sticky in the best way, and easily one of the best in the city. When they're on, they're really on. One thing I noticed was that the setup could use a little refinement. With both coffee and bakery items coming from the same counter, the line gets congested fast and the shop is quite small. A separate line for coffee and tea offerings - they have a bunch - and pastries would make the experience smoother and match the quality of what they're serving. They do offer vegan options, which I personally have no interest in, but just an fyi. Overall, they deliver excellent pastries and has the potential to be even better with a few small tweaks to the flow and menu variety. Still absolutely worth a visit, especially for that croissant and pecan roll.
