I had the B1 pho. It was very tasty, well seasoned. I was a little put off by the staff though, when asked "How was everthing?" I explained that I didn't like the fact that they broke the noodles in to small pieces prior to cooking and the young lady said "Oh, the noodles do that while cooking" .... Huh? Well this is the first time I've seen or heard of noodle failure. The place was clean, well kept and the girls were friendly. All in all, good place to eat. read more

I was just turned on to pho a bout five months ago. Since then, I have frequented many Vietnamese restaurants spanning several cities. This has been the best pho that I have tried thus far! I had the P3 (brisket and eye round) and had them add vegetables. For $7.99 plus tax, it's the best comfort food around. They don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own in! The people here are super nice and try to ensure that you are as happy as possible. This was my second visit here, and I will definitely return. Maybe next time I will try the Bhan Mi! read more

I was looking forward to coming here. The rating were high and my expectations were as well. The service and building were good. The place was clean and so was my server. When it comes to the food. I must say, I'm disappointed. I had the Pho Ga. The Broth was weak. A little heavy on the cinnamon, and really fishy. I have never had Pho that taste like fish sauce, until today. I added salt to get some flavor but it didn't help much. The size of the bowl was also disappointing. It was much smaller than normal. Overall, it wasn't terrible but I have had much better Pho elsewhere in Springfield. read more

I really love this place! Very homey atmosphere. The owner is so cute and sweet! My boyfriend try to make it in at least once a month as our little date night and the owner always tells us it's been awhile! We had heard about this Vietnamese restaurant from a friend. As someone who does not eat meat, it is some times difficult to find options at restaurants. However, our Server Annie, made several suggestions as substitutions. The Pho with tofu instead of chicken was a hit! The ingredients were the freshest possible, in fact, I have not had Thai Basil which was a flavorful as what is served at Pho Kim. The Spring Rolls were fantastic! We went here for my dad's birthday dinner because it was something new, and we noticed that this place had great reviews. I ordered the pho ga, and I was not a big fan of it. When we asked to order something else, we were told that we would have to pay for the food I did not enjoy. My dad did not want to pay for the meal I didn't like as I only had a few bites of it. The owner comes out and starts yelling at my family,telling me that I knew what the dish was and began accusing us of trying to get a free meal. We tried to explain to the owner that this was our first time eating at a Vietnamese pho restaurant, and did not know much about the food. The owner continued yelling at us, causing a big scene. I got so upset that I left the table and went to my car. Never in my life have I been treated this poorly at a restaurant. I've had much better service at McDonald's. The owners are very friendly and have created such appetizing and authentic Vietnamese food! The food was delicious and I especially loved the egg rolls/spring rolls! The price is extremely affordable for such quality meals. Although it is located in a small space and their menu is not lengthy, there are still plenty of yummy dishes to choose from at a great price. This is the worst restaurant, like other customer said the owner is so rude. She yelled us two times during the eating. Even though the food was charred, which is cannot be eat, the owner yelled us that the food cannot be changed or refund because that is not their fault, and it is our fault. I made this account to specifically leave a review about this place. I would give a 0 star if I could. I had already been hesitant to come back to this place as my previous experience wasn't good (I ordered the pho and the broth was bland and the service was terrible). I decided to give it another chance because my usual Vietnamese restaurant of choice was closed. I ordered the B4 vermicelli dish and my meat had a strange color and tasted like the smell of something burning on the bottom of your oven. I told my server that it tasted bad and was making me feel sick as I was eating and I was told "sorry" and the server walked away. Next thing I know the owner comes out telling me basically that it was just me and that their meat is fresh and not bad. We were the only people in there and soon after we ordered they started running the microwave which had beeped and then immediately after our meal was brought out. I think it's safe to say their meat is NOT fresh and is microwaved per order. I wasn't given a discount and wasn't offered a meal to replace the one that made me feel ill and was made to pay full price. After reading other reviews, I see that I am not the only customer who has been treated this way. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

I had it with the pork blood gelatin which I probably would not recommend it but still, A very authentic flavor and experience. Staff was excellent, very reasonably priced. All of the other reviews are correct. I went here for lunch today. From the minute I walked in I was welcomed and made to feel like they wanted me there. The waitress took time to explain the food and the menu options. I had never had vietnamese before. I was thrilled!!. I went with the egg roll appetizer, which was very well done. Then the lemon grass beef. The vegetables were so fresh and crisp. The flavors amazing. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place. Excellent value.
