I had the orange chicken and it was really good and my husband who normally hates orange chicken really liked it! I got it paired with steamed rice and it was good! The breading on the chicken was pretty crispy! My husband got the spicy bourbon chicken and he really loved it! It wasn't very spicy but the meat had a good smoky flavor to it. He got it with fried rice! He got a bowl which was a good portion for 9.50 and got him full and I got the dinner which had more chicken than the bowl but I would've been full with the bowl portion as well! The service was very friendly and they updated the building some! It looked nice and pretty chill! Overall great portions and good bang for your buck!!

I woke up Wednesday morning with a migraine, so I hadn't eaten ALL day. The one thing that sounded…read moregood was Golden Dragon's egg drop soup. It is the best. Loaded with plenty of egg whites, green onions, a deep brothy flavor, and best of all some extra protein with the chicken they add in theirs. I also really enjoy their fried rice. They put in fresh bean sprouts which adds that freshness and crunch. All we ordered was 1 order of beef fried rice, 1 order of chicken egg drop soup, and 2 sprites. Totaling a little over $20. An affordable meal for two, as we can split those two items and still have food leftover. So good sized portions as well. Golden Dragon has been a staple in the Ozark area ever since I was a kid. I was reminiscing that night sitting in the drive through, talking to my son about a time when I remembered when they were dine in and had a buffet! He had no idea that they were a full blown restaurant once upon a time. I say all of this as a prelude to once we got home and opened our order. We DIDN'T order any vegetable spring rolls, but they had thrown in a little bag of them just for us. This may have been a small gesture on their part, but it really made me smile and feel better from a day that was not so great. So THANK YOU to whomever there that threw in that sweet little surprise. Your food is good, but I think it's the small acts of kindness like this that keep such a loyal following to your establishment.

The hubs ordered the cashew chicken combo and I ordered the large beef lo mein because the difference between a regular and large is $2. If you eat in, you get to have their soup bar for free. Your options are egg drop soup and hot and sour. Both are so delicious and some of the best we've ever had. Our food was delivered to our table as if it were a fast casual restaurant, which we totally weren't expecting. The portions are huge and isn't overly salted. We don't normally eat a lot of salt in our meals and are always worried that restaurant food would be salty, but here, it is lightly salted and you can always add more salt if needed. Please note that even though it's not salty, that doesn't mean it lacks flavor. This place totally understands flavor and it's awesome!! Also, the inside of the restaurant is CLEAN! Yes, restaurants are supposed to be clean but this place is super clean. The windowsills, pillars, tops of the booths, every surface is immaculately clean!!
