Yes, this Asian market is jam packed with related food and novelties. I picked up some spring roll wrappers to make Lumpia for a friend who was craving it. I make some mean Lumpia for a gringa, Mmmmmm it's one of my favorites as well as jumbo shrimp rolls! I love Philippine, Thai, Asian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese style foods. I cook a lot of International favorites! This is why stores like this are very much wanted and needed so that we can get our supplies for the yum yum!!! They have so much product though I wonder how they will move it all before expiration. I recommend checking dates for shelf items, I normally shop from their freezers however the egg roll wrappers I purchased last time were old and unusable as they literally disintegrated were dry and broken up upon opening the package. :/ read more

Come here if you need Chinese ingredients, especially veggies. While they do carry some Korean products, you'll want to focus on Chinese products. They do sell some wild products like Durian and special Chinese fruits - they carried mango steams, but at $9.99 a pound, very expensive... The one bag weighed in at 2.5 lbs... $25, don't think so... I love mango steams, but at $25, I'll skip it. We came here looking for XO sauce, but they did not carry any XO sauces, so our primary mission failed, but we walked out with few other items. read more

A relatively large Asian market in Springfield? What? No? I must come-in for myself when I'm in town and need some goodies. This is family owned (meaning every1in the family works here and some of their small kids are usually playing around) and has mostly Vietnamese/Chinese stuff. However, the family isn't so friendly. Pros: 1) Lots of asian veggies (boy choy, bean sprouts, pea pods, etc.). But the produce will be shitty if you do not come right after Thursday b/c Thursday is when their shipment comes in. It's also pretty priced pretty high 2) Chinese/vietnamese sauces 3) Hot items like fried sesame balls and banh mi's (sometimes) 4) Rice, rice, rice Cons: 1) No fish tanks. Asians need fish in fish tanks and not that frozen stuff. 2) lack of Korean and Japanese goodies 3) Bake goods in the refrigerator which means they have been there for a while 4) no cooked meats (aka that duck stuff) The prices are high, but I really don't have anything else to compare it to in the area. I know the other Asian stores are either mostly Korean or much smaller. read more

If I could only eat one cuisine, it would be anything Asian. This store has just about any food item you would need to prepare and eat at home. The variety is so immense, that it's almost impossible to restrict yourself (like remember the size of your pantry, fridge, and freeze space.) Your eyes will definitely be bigger than any of those, to paraphrase an old saying. read more

It was okay, usually we drive all the way to KC for our Asian food supplies. There is no fresh seafood or meat counter and the veggies ranged from spoiled to just pkgd. Lots of shelves were highly disorganized, boxes were cut open on the ends and you'd better check the expiration dates on everything. read more

This is by far the best Asian market that just opened on 3.12.2015. You can find most Chinese/Vietnamese ethnic foods here. Down to the Vietnamese sandwiches that were pre made. Although they had only 1/2 the store filled and the other with empty shells and racks. I didn't see any place for fresh seafood. At least this isn't a fusion Asian market. Very nice. Large, clean, well lit store. Good prices on the items I checked. Fresh Vietnamese sandwiches, great selection of other fresh veggies and items. Poor selection of miso, most of it was dried stuff. They did have shelf stable fresh - one type only. They seem to have a lot of large, and bulk items. The only Hondashi, for instance, was a gigantic sack - great price on it but all I need is the normal sized small jar. They are obviously adding items every day, and this should be the largest Asian grocery in Springfield by the time they are done. I look forward to returning here. read more

I was really excited to see this new Asian grocery store open finally. They have a great selection of fresh vegetables, frozen goods, and the typical canned and preserved food. The store is very wide open and they have plenty of room to grow. I like this market a little better than Seoul Market because of the better veggies. Kudos to them for also having tahini in stock which is difficult to find at other Springfield stores. read more

I have been on the hunt for certain Japanese pastries and had no luck at a very large Asian supermarket where I live near Phoenix, Arizona. I am an avid fan of Asian Markets and we are lucky in our area to have quite a selection. Asian World Market though is my favorite. What I like most is the massive variety of product offered. This store is big and I mean really big and it is packed with items from a wide variety of countries. On a recent trip I picked up quite a basket of goodies including spiced coconut vinegar sauce from the Philippines, custard filled steamed buns and XO sauce from China, Durian candies from Thailand, togarashi spice from Japan and Ting soda from Jamaica (my personal favorite soda). The store is also pretty clean. So many stores of this type hit you with a strong smell when you enter due to the exotic foods. While you get a little of that here its barley noticeable at all. Their biggest perk is the massive amount of bottled and canned items, especially hard to find sauces. They have by far the largest selection of such items in the city. They also have a pretty good size selection of frozen and refrigerated foods. Probably the one area that is lack in is the fresh vegetable offerings. While they have a lot of different hard to find items, some of them do not get rotated or sold as quickly as they should and are not at their peak of freshness. With that said I am so glad for this store and enjoy my hour long exploration shopping trips. Now I just need to find someone to help me eat the bag of fried crickets I got. read more

Big bags of rice, bulk items, all sorts of different drinks. Vegetables. Candy. Frozen items of various sorts. Really good fish prices, that I saw. Rice cheaper than at general supermarkets. It looks like they're still moving things in, since there were a lot of big cardboard boxes with various labels on them. Not sure if they accept EBT, thought I saw a sign saying they did but I'd have to look again. Would visit again. Updating a year later: They have gotten more things! All the stuff I remember getting is still here, and the prices are just as good when I came here a year ago. They'll help you find something if you need it, too (there was a candy I got last time that I only remembered the flavor of, not even the name, and they immediately knew what I was talking about and found me a bag!) And the fish. You can get huge fish here. Someday I want to move somewhere near a large body of water so I can always have huge fresh fish, but as long as I'm in the middle of the country, this will do. Seriously, whole large fish. Made my first visit to this store yesterday.. Happily impressed with everything.. Well stocked, easy to peruse the aisles.. Restocking my Asian ingredient pantry and found everything on my list plus items I had not expected.. Good service. A clerk found something for me which I could not.. Great checkout clerk who apologized, unnecessarily, for a delay as she assisted a blind customer in finding what he needed.. Terrible service, old rotten food, 2 years expired items every time confronted owner gets very defensive and creates excuses pointing the finger like it's my fault. Owner cannot take criticism so if you find something wrong I suggest u just leave the store they will bash you for pointing something out that u found concerning. For example. Found mold on the side of fruit bag, bought yogurt that said it expired in 2018... yes 2018! Like how??? , AND i found a frozen maggot in my frozen peppers bag. She claimed it was sticks in the bag so I showed the customer next to me and they agreed it was a maggot or worm ... They offered me no refund and told me I can exchange it for another bag of peppers cause of covid politics..... I told them I didn't want another bag of the same peppers that had legit maggots in them .. she complained also cause I didn't have a receipt even tho I purchased the item 2 minutes prior all I did was walk to my car and then walk back in.. she was VERY rude and eventually gave me my money back, I assume she was embarrassed cause I showed the people behind me the maggot, all she had to do was give me my money back and that's it ... she was very immature and acted like a teenager. My moms side of the family have been shopping there for years they told me now they won't be doing business with them any longer, and neither will me or my husband. read more

Great selection of fresh, dry and frozen food. Very reasonably priced compared to others Asian stores. The store is very clean and organized. The owner was really nice one time I asked about a product that is rare and they were sold out of. The next time I stopped by the product had been specially ordered and was on the shelf. The store seams to be settling in and their shelves are mostly full. The majority of the refrigerator/freezers are full and all are arranged properly. The prices are fair and competitive and the products for the most part are very good quality. This is one of the better Asian markets in Springfield and they carry a reasonably good selection for the size.(This is still a small market and not a super market type store that you would expect from cities like Kansas City, or St. Louis.) read more
