No idea how anyone can give the pho here anything less than 5 stars. If you come here, you will be missing out if you are not ordering the pho. It is so flavorful and huge in portion. Not only is the broth incredible, but my boyfriend always orders the ox-tail and the meat falls off the bone. We also order the egg rolls to tie us over while we wait-- crispy and delicious, especially with the sauce they serve alongside. Not only is the pho perfect, but the owner is incredibly kind and always remembers us and our go-to orders. I brought my Wife here today for lunch. There was only 1 person in the restaurant, but I found out it was our servers boyfriend. No music, and very quite. While her BF went to Starbucks, she came and took our order, left it in back, brought her own food to a different table and started texting on her phone. When our food was ready, she brought it out and went back to her own lunch. I did holler across at her for soda refill, which she charged me another $2.50, so no free refills. We love this restaurant! This is our go-to place for pho or any Vietnamese food. Get the pho or get try anything else on the menu. I have yet to be disappointed. They have my favorite calamari! If you aren't sure what to get, ask your waitress/owner. She personally knows about all the items on the menu and will help you get something you enjoy. She's friendly and has an amazing memory. I'm a big fan of this place. I'm sure there are all kinds of items on the menu that I need to try but there are two that stand out to me that I keep going back for. The short rib pho is unctuous beefy comfort food like pot roast meets pho. The sour and spicy soup that is a special but always available with ramen noodles, all kinds of veggies and chicken beef and shrimp is fantastic and unique. I think about that soup a lot. You can ask them not to make it too spicy but if you like spicy food you will be so happy with it as is. read more

I thought I did this one on my plane ride back to PDX from PHX. It must not have posted. :( If this restaurant was looking for a new home, I would welcome it up here with open arms. I have been to almost 60 Pho restaurants in the Portland area and I have my top 3 or 5. This place would push one of those out if I had my way. I always order the same thing at a new place. Salad rolls and a large bowl of pho. Pho KC does a salad roll with shrimp and grilled pork. These were outstanding! I was very happy with the choice to order these and not just the standard shrimp or shrimp with Vietnamese ham. My pho choice is steak and brisket, add meatball. Generally Tai Nam add Meatball. On this menu it would be the #12 (add meatball). The broth met all of my standards, the meat was plentiful, and it was a well rounded bowl of soup. I left knowing I would be giving them a five star review. This spot is a hidden gem. read more

I did not order the pho here, so I cannot vouch for that. However, I did order the crepe, egg rolls, and the bun bo hue. The crepe was too oily and was lacking a lot of ingredients inside. It barely had any bean sprouts and meat. The egg rolls were fried too long and tasted a bit burnt. Finally the bun bo hue was way too spicy. Like it was sooo spicy my boyfriend had a stomach ache spicy. So overall, maybe their pho here is good but I wouldn't recommend these other dishes. read more

Love this place! It's my go to for Vietnamese food. The price isn't bad in my mind we order the grill pork bahn mi sandwich, the egg rolls, and chicken pho all the time and it's affordable. Also now that my husband and I have gone low carb we can still have Pho they just replace the noodles with cabbage. Which I was hesitant to try but it's incredible. The chicken broth is what really makes any Pho and this one is exceptional the flavor is so good. read more

My husband and I had dinner tonight and it was delicious! I had Pho with shrimp and veggies and my husband had chicken stir fry. The server suggested my husband try the cabbage in place of noodles and it was perfect! The prices are very reasonable and the freshness and quality of food will have us coming back again and again. The food is pretty decent but the service was HORRIBLE. The pho had little flavor, the shrimp and beef rolls were good, and the kids seemed to like the teriyaki chicken. The staff is not friendly at all and seemed to be too busy to care about our business even though there was only one other couple there when we came in and no one by the time we left. Once we were done eating there was no one to be seen and had to wait for someone to come from the back to check us out. Lastly, the restaurant is not clean. With Covid I would expect the restaurant to be well kept. There was food all over the walls, napkin despensers, sauce bottles, and even a bunch of spoons on the table to help yourself. Things do not look like they've been wiped down in months, bottles are sticky, and serve-yourself spoons seem like a bad idea during a pandemic. Won't be coming back. read more

Hip hip hurrah for no-animal-product-pho! I'm so glad that this restaurant popped up when I yelp-ed "vegan" in Glendale. Their veggie pho is light, flavorful, and not overly salty. It comes with all the regular veggie fixings as well as fried tofu, carrots, cabbage, and baby bok choy (my fav!). My food came out quickly, so it'll be a great spot for those who are looking for a restaurant on their work lunch break. 5 stars for efficiency, staff, location, cleanliness, taste, and menu.
