Ever since I was introduced to this type of food and to this place I was forever hooked. I have to say that I litrally find myself craving this stuff and eat here once a week. Everytime I come here this place is packed and many times its even at 10pm! I love the #11 pho with only the brisket. Always with extra sprouts and onions. Even the small size one is very filling. Always quick, hot and delicious! I always find it very difficult to pass up the spring rolls. Also excellent. If you order the pho its out in front of you in less than 5 mins most times. Let me begin by saying the customer service was really bad! My friend ordered a large bowl of pho and they brought her a small also when she said strawberry banana boba smoothie they brought her just a banana and when I told them about it our server just got really mad and took it unwillingly. The last thing is I saw a baby cockroach run across the table at the end of our meal! I am not kidding you I was so grossed out I didn't even finish it and paid and left! I gave it one because I had to rate this establishment. I would give ZERO if I could! The food was okay but holy crap that service was awful, honestly the worst I've ever had! I went with my mom and girlfriend, I did not want to go in the first place but it being Mother's Day and all I of course took my mother here as she wanted. We walk in and get seated and take a look at the menu. We checked it out and decided what we wanted. Our first server (who we never saw again) came and took our order. My ordered her meal then my girlfriend and lastly me. We ordered two appetizers to munch on while we waited for our food. Well we get our drinks and wait and a shrimp plate came out, we thought it was the first appetizer but no it was my girlfriends meal. We thought that was odd. Still no appetizers. Then my moms meal came out and we waited and waited. Then when they were half way done eating the egg rolls come out. Still no sign of my meal or the shrimp appetizer. We finally flag someone down as she is sitting on her phone not paying attention to any customers and told her the appetizer and my meal still wasn't out and she gave an attitude and said well shrimp takes longer than anything else to cook, okay fine. But the first meal to come out was shrimp!!!! And my meal was a freaking chicken sandwich! Come one now. We said we don't want the appetizer anymore since we wanted it before the meal and she got even more rude and basically said we had no choice but to take it since they were making it and so took it to go. My sandwich finally comes way after everyone else was done eating and it was wrapped to go. I couldn't believe it!! Let's start with the blatant disregard for service. You walk in and don't know whether to seat yourself or not, yet no one will inform you. Even worse, during checkout both employees behind the desk looked at me standing at the register one continuing to text on his iPhone and the other screwed off on Yahoo. GOT TROLLED HERE. Came here in the morning (Aug 5) when they opened. First ones here with 2 other friends. A man bringing in supplies at the same time asked how many people there are and I say 3. Got seated and 2 menus brought out instead(w.e) and since im familar with Vietnamese restaurants and the usual menu, I let my 2 other friends look at the menu instead. But still would be nice to get a menu for myself. Anyways to the point, the food was good not gonna lie. Reason Im giving a 2 star is because of follow up service after getting our order. A sweet older lady brought out our orders in a reasonable time. And after that, NOTHING. No refills, "no anything else for you guys?" NOTHING. The server that took our order was eating and talking with the other servers out in the dining area 5 tables away from us and would get up and greet new customers and pass out menus. Then would go back to her table and continue eating and talking after walking past our table with empty water cups and coffee cups for the last 20-30 mins. Sure we coulda flagged her down for our FIRST refill on water but if you walk by our table and NOT look at how we are doing and keep walking, yea thats a problem. "Hmm these guys had only 1 glass of water each this whole time so they might need more by now" said no one.....So by now we were all curious how long would it take to get a check. I think about 30 min went by since we all put our utensils down till we said screw it and got the attention of this guy that works there. He was walking towards us so we are all thinking o sweet hes gonna check up on us. Nope, he walks past us and starts cleaning the front windows. When hes done, my buddy had to flag him down and ask for the check and a refill. Im facing the kitchen and that hallway on the left of the register. I see him walk down the hallway, talk to somebody, walks back out to dining area, grabs a personal water bottle, drinks it, talks to our original server thats eating and talking still. THEN he grabs a pitcher of water and comes to us. NO RUSH OR HUSTLE AT ALL. Took his sweet ass time. When we got our check, there was a pineapple smoothie ordered but we never got ( they said they ran out of something) but still got charged, TWICE I believe, and a can of coke we never got either were all on the bill. We got that fixed tho no issue there. Food is good I would eat it again no prob but the service succkkkkkkk so Im prolly not coming back. We all left annoyed. this is the best pho that ive been to in riverside. the food is great i always get ( i forget what its called but it's #39 on the menu) the fried beef, it comes out sizzling on a iron plate with a huge plate of rice and a lil veggies. they get the food out to you real quick, but good luck getting a refill of water or even your bill. i went yesterday with a buddy a lil hung over looking to get a good meal in our bellies. food did the trick but no water for the whole meal left me with only soup to drink. good soup but not what i needed to get rid of the cotton mouth. read more

I made an order over the phone; I ordered tofu spring rolls and asked about their tea selection and wanted boba in it. The woman on the other end seemed to be confused and kept saying all they had were smoothies and thai tea with boba. Uh, ALL pho places have regular tea and are willing to add boba to them. I've never been to one where they didn't. When I got there and one of the men reviewed my order, she told them I ordered pork rolls. He showed me the menu and pointed at the vegetarian spring rolls and I said yes that's what I ordered, there's tofu in them. It's the same thing so I don't know why she threw a fit as she then started yelling from the room behind the counter. I understand there is a language barrier but I'm pretty positive they know what tofu is. They know what green/black tea is. Then after I paid she told me to take a menu with me for the next time I called. I shoved the tip I was going to give right back in my wallet. I told her how rude she was as I was leaving. I've been coming for years and have ordered in and over the phone, usually the same things and no one else there has ever given me an issue. There's not many Vietnamese restaurants in Riverside, so if we want Vietnamese food, we usually go to Pho Ha because of its convenient location. In my opinion, food is average, and the price is average. Not expensive nor cheap. They serve food quite fast. But don't expect great customer service though. They are not rude or mean. Best pho I've had in the inland empire with good service and reasonable prices to boot. Gotta try the savory beef stew thats served w/a French style baguette... Horrible customer service. My husband ordered to go over the phone. We ordered 2 pho tais with meatballs one with no onion cilantro ok and a plain pho. I go to pick it up and pay and the guy asks what I ordered. I tell him and he says no you ordered just 2 pho tais add meatballs one no onion no cilantro. I told him what my husband ordered, so he added the plain pho and I had to wait a few min. Well when the food was done a younger guy came to give me the food and I asked him if I could get extra limes and hoisin sauce (since I know they don't give a lot on to go orders), and he said there's already some in the bag. I said can I get more. He was like "oh now you want more", I said yes and he went to get some and literally only came back with 2 wedges of limes and no hoisin at all. So I went to the older guy at the register and told him I had asked for more limes and hoisin and all I got was 2 limes. He pointed to a table where I could get the hoisin on my own and wouldn't you know it the hoisin containers were practically empty and the younger guy walked by me and dropped off a few more limes and said nothing. Oh lord these people need to learn some skills in dealing with people. My husband is Vietnamese and says this is how they can be when you order to go but customer service is everything especially if you want people to be coming back. I'm sorry but I know that there's a lot of people who like this place and that is one of the reason why my children and I went there BUT I MUST SAY WITH ALL HONESTY -it's was AWFUL!!! First of all, the waitress took forever to come out and take our order passing us by several times. She was more attentive with her own race customer then with my kids n I. HUGE MISTAKE - the pho broth and noodles were good but the meat smell bad it was overwhelming- I told Her I didn't like it and she just said all broth the same and just walked away - AND GRANTED I WAS SUPER POLITE AND PATIENT -at checkout since she would not come get the check and my credit card - I walked over to pay and asked for the pho to be removed from my $60 check and the gentlemen at the register seem to want to take it off but the waitress lady wanted to argue with me and I told her there was NO NEED TO ARGUE OR GO BACK N FORTH WITH EXPLANATION !! They have the best tasting pho in riverside and I've been to pretty much all of them. They put lots of beef in the pho too. The orders for pho come out the quickest, even sometimes before the appetizers. I've had better rice noodle bowls though. It's a great place if you're looking to get a quick bite to eat. read more

I've visited this place since its opening, and the quality of the food has unfortunately dwindled. Before, when I ordered a platter, I would usually get large portions, but now the only thing large is the plate. Small scraps of meat accompanied with huge amounts of rice is what you get for about $10.00! However, their actual pho noodles have stayed true and tasty which is the only reason I keep coming back. Their broth is very rich and full of flavor. They don't cheap out on the meats or veggies. Their platters may suck, but they still serve great pho. Lemon tea so good. I had the simple chicken noodle soup with green onions i liked it. My son and my husband had a seafood mix soup they really enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this place. As good as it gets in Riverside! Hands down best authentic Vietnamese food here without traveling to the OC. The pho broth reminds me of home. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. The only thing I wish they did, was give more veggies for the pho, but I understand that most non south East Asians, which is the majority of customers, waste it, so I don't blame them. I came here during lunch and had some crispy noodles with shrimp, pork and veggies on top. I believe it was #68 on the menu. I also had the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Food was great and affordable. The noodles were nice and crunchy and tasted good with the sauce on top. The sauce was perfect, not too salty. The coffee was very strong and a great afternoon pick me up! The restaurant looked pretty clean and in better condition than some of the other pho restaurants in the area. The only "negative" thing was that the staff was not so friendly. They weren't rude... Just not friendly. They don't really greet you warmly or smile. When I first walked in there was a sign that said wait to be seated, but I felt unsure and uncomfortable as I stood there and couldn't really tell who was the host or who would be able to help me out. Even after I sat down one of the staff just kind of walked by and tossed a menu in front off and kept walking. I think it's more of a cultural thing, they do their job and do it quickly and don't really try to make any small talk.
