It is EXTREMELY hard to find a pho place that is comparable to the ones in OC. Luckily, this iskind of close to that. Out of all the pho places in corona, I like this one the best. Their soup actually tastes like pho soup and not watered down. They serve everything from vermicelli, spring rolls, shaken beef, banh xeo, smoothies, to pho. Their shaken beef and rice dishes are pretty good, a little too oily for me but it works. Their spring rolls are ok. The service is slow and the place looks dirty. The food is reasonably priced. My friends took me here for the first time after a wild night of drinking HAHAHA the place is pretty big and contains a lot of seatings. The service wasn't that fast but the pho was delicious. The Pho is good here its just the customer service not so much came here early to have some pho once we received our food after that was like they forgot about us till it was time for the bill no refill no extra jalapeños no nothing. They were to busy eating food with there family than accommodating us when we are the paying customer. THis is the first place I had ever tried pho at, so it set my standards pretty high. I notice that if you speak their language you get better service, but regardless the servers aren't ever rude, just very busy. Their egg rolls fried and spring are tasteful, and their tea always hits the pot. The location makes it a hole in the wall but in now means is it a place to ignore. Aside from the service and the fact they only take cash, this is a great place to stop, not so much for a romantic dinner, but more a quick stop for food that isn't fast food. Not sure if they changed owners or something because I used to like this place, but after so many inconsistencies in their food I'm completely over this restaurant and I now go somewhere else. First their pho comes out so greasy, it's just a slick shiny mess in my bowl and terribly unappetizing. If its not greasy broth, its luke warm which does nothing to the noodles or cooks any meat, and the service has got worse as well. I have been going to the Pho Ha in San Bernardino ever since I was a kid and I had high hopes that this location would be just as good as my home location. Though the location is very nice and clean, I was not very satisfied with the food I ordered nor the service. Ordered a big bowl of pho, spring rolls, and a noodle dish. Nothing really stood out, and I was kind of disappointed with the spring rolls. The peanut sauce was so weird! The pho was bland, as well as the noodle dish. Usually when I have a lot of food I would take it home, but this time I decided to just leave it there as it was a waste. In addition, service was just as bad. The waiter did not give such a warm, friendly greeting but more cold. He was very quiet and seemed kind of mean. If only service was good I could have bumped the review with a 1 or 1.5 stars. I think I will stay with the Pho Ha in San Bernardino. Yeah it's more ghetto but at least the pho is better and the people are very nice there =) read more

Used to come here a lot, now not at all. I ordered a Large Pho Steak bowl and asked for the broth to be warmed a little more due to cooking the steak a little more and faster & my brother asked for a Small pho bowl but when we received our food, they had put extra steak in my bowl instead of making it hotter and my brother received a Large bowl & we were both stuck paying for what we didnt ask for. I always thought that it was difficult to get bad Pho. However, the more places that I went to, the more I realized I was wrong. I've been going to this Pho Ha for years, and I can say with confidence that their food has always been consistent, and their prices have always been pretty good. It's always difficult for me to wave someone down to give me a water refill that I gulp down to cool my throat from the Sriracha that I dumped into my Pho Tai. Give me a bigger glass! Or less ice! The place is pretty clean. Just watch out for the homeless guy that I've seen outside the place a few times, he will yell at you on your way in from the parking lot, or as you walk back to your car. From what I've seen, he's pretty harmless, but I guess you wouldn't want to be the first to find out I was wrong. read more

Great pho! I always get the vegetable with tofu and with chicken stock. They have beef and vegetable but the vegetable stock is too sweet and sour for me. Most of the servers don't speak English but I always point to the menu and have never had a problem. For the bigger eaters, like some of the men in my family, you can order a side of extra noodles for your pho. read more

The food here is Great!!! Large portions and it taste amazing!! It's very clean and the service is fast!! The only thing is the staff are not friendly!! This place is below average Vietnamese food. The meat in their PHO is terrible, it's like frozen cheap beef. The soup is making out of the instant flavor that you can buy at any Vietnamese market. I never eat here again. ***Update 12/31/2011: I came back because my dad want to go here. I had bad experience with their PHO, so I tried something different. I ordered "CM GÀ XÀO XÃ T" (stewed chicken with lemon grass). I could only eat half of it. The chicken was so salty. They used too much fish sauce so the smell is so strong. Where to begin. This place is not good. I asked for the rare steak and lean brisket and the gave me fatty brisket. Barely any meat. The broth isnt all tht flavorfull even the noodles didnt taste the same. My son loves spring rolls and he only ate 1 of thr 4. They were on the small side too. He said they tasted funny and have a weird face so I didnt have him eat them. Its packed in here so we only saw the waitor once. Not really friendly. We came here because our favorite place (which is down the street ) closes at 9. It did not even compare to it. So if your craving some pho go to PHO STAR BOWL! I really want to give this place a higher rating, but I just can't. I find the pho to be really good and in huge portions for how cheap it is, but there's just too many problems with the restaurant. First is the eggrolls used to be amazing a few years ago, but they started making it differently than before and now quite frankly they suck. The staff is horrible, and they'll take your order one time and then you never see them again or they'll ignore you. You have to like chase them down if you want anything after they bring your food. First things first, the size of their large is rather small compared to other pho places i've been to. The flank was hard to chew and it seemed like they were stingy with the meat. The broth was tasty and it did come to the table pretfy quick for being 60 pecent full. Customer service is lacking as the servers don't really talk or respond to you, I did have to flag someone down because they forgot to bring my mango smoothie with boba, but its not that big of a deal. The atmosphere is cozy and I did like the soup. Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We ordered way too much food, but tried some of everything (had leftovers for a couple days). Tried a beef dish, a crispy noodle dish w/gravy (was my favorite), had one of the pho noodle soups, spring rolls the pork was my favorite), and these wonderful chicken wings.
