Customer service, ambiance and food were great. Recommend their vegetarian options and you can never go wrong with a vegetable spring roll

Came in with my parents before shopping around Jungle Jim's as we were hungry and craving something soupy. Luckily we saw this right next to it! From a family who came from a Vietnamese town in California where authentic pho was abundant, we decided to come in with no expectations. All of us ordered the pho dac biet, both the small and large size. The portioning here was huge! The amount of noodles in the large bowl was probably good for 3-4 servings with the small 2. I was surprised. It felt like my noodles were never ending. The good thing about this is that you get your money's worth (roughly $20/bowl). The bad thing is, the noodles tend to get over cooked the longer they sit in the broth. Also, less broth is left because the noodles absorbs most of it. Major plus though was that the cooks were Vietnamese! The broth was pretty tasty. They provided the usual garnishes. However, for someone who is not familiar with pho, they would probably think it was a salad if not explained. I can't imagine how much of their garnishes gets wasted. I saw a lot of tables with theirs untouched. The server was young. Customer service was ok. However, this girl was on her phone looking at tiktoks and laughing loudly. One of the customers commented "you must be having a good time over there". And she explained she was watching a video. I just thought it was very unusual for someone to act that way when people are dining in. Overall, I prefer this place over Pho Lang Thang in Findlay. It's just tastier in my opinion.

Indulging in a steaming bowl of pho during chilly winter days is a true comfort. The rich flavors of bone and spices in the broth create a cozy sensation, warming you up like a warm hug from the inside out. After a quick visit to Jungle Jim's, we decided to finally try this pho spot, which had recently reopened after management changes. The spacious, modern, and impeccably clean interior immediately caught our attention. Our server was attentive and genuinely friendly, balancing between being present and unobtrusive. The menu, though familiar like many other pho joints, offered a range of enticing options. We got the seafood spring rolls for appetizer which I thought were very tasty! The pho itself was a good portion, came with the standard servings of basil, cilantro, sprouts, jalapeno and a squeeze of lime. I got the sliced steak with meatballs, while he got sliced steak with tendon -- he meant to order something else so he didn't get to enjoy it completely due to user error. One thing that was very noticeable to me was that both bowls of pho were just lukewarm which usually isn't the norm. Typically it's quite piping hot so it would cook the raw meat appropriately. Nonetheless, the broth was very good and savory. It was not as robust as my tongue is used to but still was a savory delight. It filled us up and warmed us up on a cold winter afternoon. In summary, our experience was undeniably enjoyable and fulfilling. It's the kind of place that hits the spot when cravings for comforting pho strike.

I came here to meet a friend for lunch. It is conveniently located right next to the rhino entrance of jungle Jim's. Service was fast, and the waiter was friendly, but the menu was not really explained. My friend ordered the chicken fried rice and it came with a couple of sauces on the side, some kind of soup and a maple syrup smelling sauce that was savory, and it was mentioned that they were for the rice. Seeing as most people are probably not used to fried rice coming with something to pour on it, it would have been nice to have it explained. The flavor was also unusual for a classic fried rice - so if that is what you were expecting, you may be thrown off by this meal. That being said, I thought the flavor was very good, but my friend was not a fan of how the rice was softer than your typical fried rice. I am a lover of pho and have tried many places around the city looking for the best (I think the best is at Tong's Thai Milford). Here I decided to try the spicy beef rice noodle soup, which came with basically all the same toppings as PHO and tasted similar. Honestly I would not be able to tell much of a difference between this and PHO if you ask me. It was slightly spicy, but not too spicy, and came with some type of floating meat disc (what a phrase) that I could not figure out what it was, but tasted like delicious sausage. We also tried their shrimp summer rolls, which were OK, but you can definitely find these better at other restaurants. Overall, I would come back here again to eat, but it would not be my first choice for PHO.

Ordered the C1 and it was fantastic! Even better than the one I previously got. Drove an hour to get here again so you know it's good

C1 was excellent! This one was even better than the last. Drove an hour just to come back so you know it's good.

Fresh and plentiful flavor. This was of course post prep work. I removed the steams and cut into smaller pieces.

This little restaurant is nicely locates warm and welcoming. The menu is set up nicely in am order to walk through and order easily. They're extremely clean and friendly. Even the restroom is clean. Now the food, if you really like pho then heres a nice place to go. The vegetable and flavorings were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the pork egg rolls which were extremely flavorful and cooked to perfection. O decided to have the steak and brisket pho. First tine for me. I could've eaten it as is without any additions it was so flavorful. The noodles where plentiful. I always use my bean sprouts which again were fresh. I suggest that if you really don't know how to enjoy pho look it up first. I watched someone just add they're vegetables and Then complain about the taste. This was an enjoyable quiet meal that i couldn't even finish it was so plentiful.

Found this place last time we visited Jungle Jim's. It's in a great location and it's nice on the inside. All of the pho comes with different sized bowl options which I thought was a great idea. I got a medium and it was huge! The rest of the food was decent, nothing great, but decent. Our server was nice but she said they were very short staffed so we waited quite a while for everything. In all the place was just ok.

Special Pho with rare steaks on the side. I like the fact they brought me a hot stone soup bowl on the side this one time.

I put in for reservations on a Saturday evening outside and I'm not sure if I needed it. However it was a great experience overall. Charlie was our waiter and he was super helpful and friendly. We shared some appetizers of salad rolls as well as the chicken wings. Five stars for those! My friend had the banh mi and I had the pho with meatball and brisket. Five stars! Delicious food! Literally all top notch. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

We ordered a variety of entrees, but the highlight was definitely the pho. The broth tasted very close to what you'd find in California and even Vietnam, which was a pleasant surprise. Really rich, balanced, and comforting. The only downside was the lack of fresh herbs on the side. It only came with a dish of bean sprouts, so it felt like it was missing that extra freshness that usually completes a bowl of pho. Service was amazing, mostly students from UC. But everyone was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Parking was pretty easy, which made the whole experience even smoother. Overall, still a solid spot, especially if you're craving pho that tastes authentic.

The food was DELICIOUS- I got the chana masala, garlic naan, and a mango lassi, all of which were some of the best I've ever had, and my dining companion got the chicken chow mein, which they loved and said was elevated by the two types of onions used and the lime on top. We both are wusses and only got the spice level of two- I personally would go up to a three or four next time, and my dining partner said that they would stay at a two (their spice tolerance is lower than mine). With tip, we paid around $42, which we felt was very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. The restaurant was very empty on for a Saturday night- when we walked in around 6:00 PM, there was a couple that was packing up to leave, and a few delivery drivers came in to collect orders, but for the most part, it was just us, which needs to be rectified, as Hot N Spicy Restaurant and Bar is truly fantastic. The only thing we could think of was that the location wasn't optimal for attracting attention from potential customers passing by (it's in a strip mall, sandwiched between a Goodwill and a Habitat for Humanity ReStore), and people just don't know it's there? Overall, we can't wait to come back, and we're excited to tell all of our family and friends about this hidden gem so that they'll come try it too!

I ordered the shrimp spring roll vermicelli, banh mi (pork sandwich) and the viet rice wrapper roll (Gỏi Cuốn) - to go. Here are the pros and cons. The pros. Great amount of food. The quantity was really good compared to other viet locations in the West Chester Ohio area. Actually what I would expect for $15 and some change for the vermicelli noodle bowl ( I still remember when this entree a long time ago was less than $10 but I digress). Likewise the banh mi had a decent amount of pork and a plastic ziplock with carrots and other veggies for sandwich (Around $8). So good amount of food. The cons. The taste seemed diluted across all the items from the shrimp in the vermicelli to the fish sauce and hoisin sauce for spring rolls. This was not the case with banh mi although the pork seemed too sweet and sauce had a thick corn starch feel. The fried spring roll in my vermicelli noodle dish did taste like the deep fryer oil had not been changed in awhile. That being said, I think if the vermicelli noodle dish had a stronger fish sauce, sauce then it would have been more flavorful but maybe that is a regional thing for owner. It was alot of food but finished with a bloated feeling. Kinda like when you eat at a Chinese buffet and you know some weird additives were added to food to create an unnatural full sensation. So not terrible but not great. Average.
