I've been to this restaurant twice now and both times have really enjoyed everything about this place. The service is fast, whether it's busy or calm, and inside the restaurant is very clean and the design fits the setting perfectly. My partner really likes their pho and the veggie lo mein is incredible and the tofu is some of the best tofu I've ever had. The dish is full of veggies and the flavor of everything in the dish blends well together. This location deserves a higher rating and I highly recommend trying it if you're in the area. read more

Pho district was a great Vietnamese option on the North side of Cincinnati. There is plenty of parking as it is right next door to Jungle Jim's international market. Visited on a Tuesday late afternoon and it wasn't busy. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered a pho with beef and tripe ($14 small / $16 medium) and a grilled pork vermicelli bowl ($14). The beef broth of the pho had good flavor and is accompanied with your typical side plate of jalapeno, bean sprouts, and basil. The vermicelli bowl came with a generous portion and the grilled pork was seasoned well. I recommend both dishes! On weekends they serve their special bun rieu which is a crab tomato noodle soup and hard to find as many pho restaurants don't serve this. It happens to be one of my favorite noodle soups so I'll have to return on a weekend to try it here. I wish I would have thought to take a photo of my food before devouring it! I had pho for the first time a few weeks back in Texas. It was delicious and I'd been craving it. When I saw this restaurant was so close I had to stop. I had the shrimp rolls and a steak pho dish well done. The restaurant was comfortable, well lit and I enjoyed a nice book while waiting on my food. Boba tea was good but a little sweet for my liking. The staff was friendly as well. I was promptly greeted upon arrival and thanked for dining there on my way out. The food was so filling I had leftovers for the next day! Definitely worth the price and I will be back! read more

The wife and I made a dinner stop at pho District Cincy. It was a slow evening. My wife got a special which was like a chicken salad dinner and I got the wonton soup noodles, which was absolutely outstanding. My wife enjoyed her meal. We also got a free appetizer apparently they have a happy hour appetizer special so we got spring rolls and some crab Rangoon, which were both delicious. The price was fair and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be going back for that wonton special with noodles. read more

I have only gotten food delivered from here, but the pho was fantastic. It comes in a container that keeps the broth separate from the meat, noodle and other ingredients, which keeps noodles from going mushy. It also makes it easy to heat. read more

I'm confused by the low rating here, we've been many times to eat in & Doordashed and the food is consistently amazing, fresh and delicious. Servers are really sweet and attentive. I always get tofu spring rolls and they're delicious. Wish they had more do chua in them but it's ok. This is one of the only pho places I've been to where I drink the broth afterwards because it's so tasty. The meat quality is really good, I like the brisket a lot. Chicken pho is really good as well. I would trust anything on the menu here, I had the bo luc lac once and liked that as well (I wish it was red rice but it's ok lol). Came in with my parents before shopping around Jungle Jim's as we were hungry and craving something soupy. Luckily we saw this right next to it! From a family who came from a Vietnamese town in California where authentic pho was abundant, we decided to come in with no expectations. All of us ordered the pho dac biet, both the small and large size. The portioning here was huge! The amount of noodles in the large bowl was probably good for 3-4 servings with the small 2. I was surprised. It felt like my noodles were never ending. The good thing about this is that you get your money's worth (roughly $20/bowl). The bad thing is, the noodles tend to get over cooked the longer they sit in the broth. Also, less broth is left because the noodles absorbs most of it. Major plus though was that the cooks were Vietnamese! The broth was pretty tasty. They provided the usual garnishes. However, for someone who is not familiar with pho, they would probably think it was a salad if not explained. I can't imagine how much of their garnishes gets wasted. I saw a lot of tables with theirs untouched. The server was young. Customer service was ok. However, this girl was on her phone looking at tiktoks and laughing loudly. One of the customers commented "you must be having a good time over there". And she explained she was watching a video. I just thought it was very unusual for someone to act that way when people are dining in. Overall, I prefer this place over Pho Lang Thang in Findlay. It's just tastier in my opinion. read more

I got the sliced steak with meatballs, while he got sliced steak with tendon -- he meant to order something else so he didn't get to enjoy it completely due to user error. One thing that was very noticeable to me was that both bowls of pho were just lukewarm which usually isn't the norm. Typically it's quite piping hot so it would cook the raw meat appropriately. Nonetheless, the broth was very good and savory. It was not as robust as my tongue is used to but still was a savory delight. It filled us up and warmed us up on a cold winter afternoon. I came here to meet a friend for lunch. It is conveniently located right next to the rhino entrance of jungle Jim's. Service was fast, and the waiter was friendly, but the menu was not really explained. My friend ordered the chicken fried rice and it came with a couple of sauces on the side, some kind of soup and a maple syrup smelling sauce that was savory, and it was mentioned that they were for the rice. Seeing as most people are probably not used to fried rice coming with something to pour on it, it would have been nice to have it explained. The flavor was also unusual for a classic fried rice - so if that is what you were expecting, you may be thrown off by this meal. That being said, I thought the flavor was very good, but my friend was not a fan of how the rice was softer than your typical fried rice. I am a lover of pho and have tried many places around the city looking for the best (I think the best is at Tong's Thai Milford). Here I decided to try the spicy beef rice noodle soup, which came with basically all the same toppings as PHO and tasted similar. Honestly I would not be able to tell much of a difference between this and PHO if you ask me. It was slightly spicy, but not too spicy, and came with some type of floating meat disc (what a phrase) that I could not figure out what it was, but tasted like delicious sausage. We also tried their shrimp summer rolls, which were OK, but you can definitely find these better at other restaurants. This little restaurant is nicely locates warm and welcoming. The menu is set up nicely in am order to walk through and order easily. They're extremely clean and friendly. Even the restroom is clean. Now the food, if you really like pho then heres a nice place to go. The vegetable and flavorings were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the pork egg rolls which were extremely flavorful and cooked to perfection. O decided to have the steak and brisket pho. First tine for me. I could've eaten it as is without any additions it was so flavorful. The noodles where plentiful. I always use my bean sprouts which again were fresh. I suggest that if you really don't know how to enjoy pho look it up first. I watched someone just add they're vegetables and Then complain about the taste. As all my reviews start out we ended up at the place on a whim. Well. Kind of. Either way we needed lunch before going into Jungle Jims and committing a sin by going in there without a full stomach. We got the brisket Pho and the Veggie Noodle Bowl. Both came out fast and the waitress was very sweet and attentive to our needs. The Ambiance is casual with average level of noise. The soccer game on the TV sits on a wall pretty much unwatched as customers talk and enjoy the stellar food! This place is amazing and casual that is perfect for a chance to relax and refuel after a 2 hour drive. Food is a must and the bubble teas are a must too! Found this place last time we visited Jungle Jim's. It's in a great location and it's nice on the inside. All of the pho comes with different sized bowl options which I thought was a great idea. I got a medium and it was huge! The rest of the food was decent, nothing great, but decent. Our server was nice but she said they were very short staffed so we waited quite a while for everything. Dear non-Vietnamese people! Listen up! If I hear another one of you fools whine about chili oil I'm going to find you and spit in your food! This IS Vietnamese food NOT Chinese food. Stop bastardizing my people's food by insisting craps that don't belong in there. Want chili oil? Go to a Chinese restaurant. Want to eat authentic Vietnamese food? Stop asking for crap that do not belong. Only 4 condiments that should go onto your pho: 1) hoisin sauce (if you choose) 2) sriracha hot sauce (or equivalent chili sauce not Tabasco) 3) ground black pepper 4) salty fish sauce if you find your pho not salty enough for your taste bud and sauces 1 and 2 have not correct the problem for you. DO add bean sprout, Asian basil, jalapeños slices, and a squeeze of lime/lemon according to your liking. ADVANCE: You can ask for uncooked beef slices on the side if you don't like your sliced steaks over cooked inside the bowl. Do add the raw beef slices to your pho before you add raw bean sprout otherwise your soup would be to luke warm to properly blanch your rare steak slices. Enjoy my people's culinary contribution to world cuisine! Leave your ignorance at the door. If you don't know anything then ask, your server or knowing neighbor would love to help you through any question. Everyone loves when outsiders show interest in their food and culture. Somehow the owner decided to switch up some naming of the appetizers that causes even me confusion. * Chả giò should be translated properly as egg rolls NOT spring rolls * gỏi cuốn should be translated as spring roll not summer roll I've lived in the US for 44 years and 38 of those years in California (both southern and northern) and have eaten in practically every well known Vietnamese restaurant and have not heard of a summer roll. So I found out the owner and his family are new arrivals to the US and for some reason have not had a chance to study other Vietnamese restaurants' menus to see what the proper translations are. Our favorites here are the Pho Đặc Biệt (the special). My wife tried the Bún Bò Huế and she finds it acceptable but my roots are in Huế so I'm a lot more picky. My wife is Northern Vietnamese, where pho originates, and she thinks this is the best pho in Cincy compared to all the other actual Vietnamese owned and run Viet restaurants: Tasty Pho (closed), Saigon Noodle Bars, Pho Kimmy, iPho, Pho Lang Thang. If you're eating at a place call Tong's Thai don't compare that crap to authentic Vietnamese food. It's like going to a Thai restaurant and compare their sushi to an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. Out here in the Midwest diners don't know better. It's the jobs of those in the know to help. Updating based on a second visit and upon reading another review that called me out for mentioning chili oil. Please note, I did not say chili oil was Vietnamese, I merely commented that the waitress specifically mentioned it as something add on the pho (I'm aware that is not traditional). It was not brought or added to as I prefer to try the dish as intended on the first go. For this visit, I tried the chicken pho to compare to other pho places around (yes I know it's not traditional). My son loves the beef steak pho, but we both dislike the egg rolls here, not a bit of pork to be found and little flavor. Hoping they can remedy that. The fried tofu was also devoid of flavor; I'm more used to Korean fried tofu and it is more flavorful. Despite another review, we know how to read and have people in the Midwest who have lived in Korea and Vietnam and do have experience. Before you snobbishly review a place while stereotypically hating on middle America from your perch on either coast, check your language. Someone mentioned this place at work and as a pho lover I had to check it out. While I don't normally go to that side of I do find it convenient that is right by jungle Jim's. The actual restaurant is slightly small but very neat and clean. The colors and decor make it look very spacious and comfortable. The service is above average! The employees are welcoming and polite. The service is quick and efficient. Now the food, is outstanding! I love the variety of options they have. We ordered the vegan pho, the fried rice and the spring rolls. The pho was defiantly my favorite pho so far in cincy. It has a different taste to the ones I've had in other places but super tasty. The fried rice was also on point, i like that they put the soy sauce on the side I find that very unique. To drink we only had green tea, they do no have alcoholic beverages, however they do have sodas that are home made I think. It's for sure worth checking it out, I would for sure go back. read more

Tried to order a fruit tea but the first two flavors we wanted were unavailable but ended up with mango fruit tea on last try. The goi cuon was very good. Pros Restaurant was clean and decor was fun Cons 1) menu pricing. Upcharge for ANY protein, not just premium ones. 2) not all ingredients were at peak freshness -- the bean spouts were discolored. 3) flavor on bahn mi was excellent. Pho was acceptable, but not great. Pho was missing mint and cilantro and sufficient chili's on the plate as sides. Appetizers were under seasoned and the peanut sauce could use some tweaks. 4) appetizers were described as spring rolls -- which are fried, and were presented as summer rolls (uncooked), with only iceberg, rice noodles and protein inside, rather than basil, butter lettuce, mint, etc Food send out to table was not well-timed, and we had to remind them of one appetizer that they forgot to bring. I was hopeful they'd be a home-run, and was sad bun thit nuong was not in the menu, BUT they've recently open, so these misses may improve. Bill was paid directly to the sefver at the table, which was nice, but it felt pushy related to tipping amounts since they were right there, directing how to interact with their payment system. The food was really good. The pro is that we were interrupted no fewer than 3 times while eating. Asked " Are you ready to pay yet"? I ended up having to be quite blunt "No. We are trying to eat". Tonight I drove 25 mins to Pho Cincy to pick up my Togo order. When I get to the door one of the works tell me they ran out of food. No one attempted to call me to tell me they ran out of food before picking up my food. Only one table way sat in the whole restaurant. When I got there the workers didn't even attempt to offer anything for the inconvenience. I will not be back and do not recommend. read more
