Today I decided to go to Framingham to try this location, and it's the same as the one on Park Ave. The food is skimp and awful. Portions are small and doesn't have enough flavor. Hey Hey Adventurers! If you're a huge Ph person like me then you'll be excited to hear that this place far exceeded my expectations considering I had been traveling. I'd also like to say that the ambiance of this place was wonderful! Gorgeous and upper scale but still approachable for the casual crowd. They have a full bar, which is great for a date night. I still haven't found one near me only BYOB. The food menu was expansive and pretty authentic, the only qualm I had was that I generally like Ph Tom (shrimp) and they only had the seafood version. I had to order a modified version of it just to have something similar to shrimp. It was delicious though, like really delicious on a cold rainy day. The service can take some time, so I think they could be better with adding more staff but it was a Sunday so I get it. Parking wasn't too bad but I was able to find a spot right across the street around the corner. If you're not familiar with how parking is since I was our of town just be aware of the signs. read more

Didn't expect it to be this good but I highly recommend! My friend and I ordered the grilled pork chops on rice and substituted the white rice with fried rice. Their bobba tea were very good as well. Love it here! They have so much more than just Pho - they have plenty of entrees in a variety of flavors so everyone should be able to find something they'd enjoy. I've done eat-in, take-out, and delivery and I plan on returning for any of those options. My favorite dishes are the chicken pho and the beef skewers, definitely try those out. read more

I tried Pho for the first time at this establishment and they have me hooked! So far the chicken Pho is my favorite and their Jalapeño Margarita was perfectly spicy. I've also had their Crab Rangoons which are amazing along with the rare beef Pho( also amazing). The servers are very nice and i love the atmosphere here. A great goto for Vietnamese food in Metrowest. Authentic food that's on par with the many Vietnamese restaurants in Boston. Sooo glad they finally opened. They have another place in Worcester but I've not been there. My family ate fried spring rolls, summer rolls, lemongrass chicken, chicken pho and special (dac biet) pho. Had limeade but it was more sweet than limey. It cost about $50. Reasonably priced. Servers were nice and friendly. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time but I was surprised that it took longer for the pho to come out than the lemongrass chicken. The chicken wasn't even too hot and the onions could've been cooked a bit more. Maybe a kink to work out since it was only day 2 of the grand opening. Decor is nice and modern. There's a bar with 2 TVs so it'd be good for a night out. I want to try out the rest of the menu. Great option for those on gluten-free diets with the rice plates and rice noodle bowls. If you haven't had Vietnamese food before and you have peanut allergies, make sure you tell your server. Some items have peanuts. Met a co-owner who was nice and would like to support the community. 3.6511 Stars I've been here twice and both visits were a success. I like the room the have tables in the storefront where the bar resides. There are booths on the long part of the L shaped room, these are more intimate. I like the layout better than the Worcester store but the bar in Worcester is better. The Pho: The soup base is pretty good I've had better but not this far from the DOT and Boston. Watch the portions, because a medium is enough for me especially if you have appetizers. They don't have the small, medium, large and extra large are the sizes. One thing that irks me in many Pho Joints is the skimping on meat portions, none of that here(I get the Special-Dac Biet, all-in "Rare-Steak, Flank, Brisket, Tendon, and Tripe" . They give jalapeño peppers, I prefer the thai green chilies but so many places don't give peppers at all. I also am a big fan of sprouts and there have been fresh and abundant. Both visits were off hours but the service was good and the food came out in a timely fashion. It's a little more clean than the Worcester location. * The female bartender is professional, very good service. * H Tiu Xào Chay (stir fried flat noodles) * Prefer the Summer Rolls over the Spring Rolls. * The quail is pretty good. * Parking in back but, if you are heading west you have to make an awkward turn: On busy days the traffic is dense the city does not allow the left turn onto Kendall St, even when there is light traffic. It's better to approach from the east, Concord St. is also route 126. Because of the traffic I would not park on Concord, and spots are hard to come by. read more

The goi cuon was appetizer was warm and soft, it was a nice small size wrap with lots of veggies and meats, and a perfect amount of vermicelli. The peanut dip that came with it was outstanding, the crunchiness of the peanut complemented by a warm savory sauce. Even found bo kho dish here, a delicious beef and vegetable stew that's so savory and warms the heart. The beef tips are half tendon, half lean giving the perfect balance in texture for every bite. Summer rolls (goi cuon) was decent. Lots of lettuce. For $5.25 is a bit steep. Avocado shake with no boba (sinh to bo) was okay but also expensive at $5.25 and$0.50 for topics like boba. At least it has flavor but it had too much condensed milk for me. Large pho dac biet was decent. Something I would eat again but they don't give a lot for a large. (Fun fact: my friend had a stomachache a few hours later that night but they've been here a few other times so might just be that night problem.) I got bo kho (beef stew with udon). Lack in flavor so I added a bunch of chili paste. Sriracha did not do anything. Broth tasted like old meat was used. It's not suppose to be like that, coming from someone who grew up with Vietnamese food. My friend had a few bite out of mine so maybe that's what caused the stomach (I typically don't have a "weak stomach," like most Asians who grew up with at least one immigrant parent who will whip your ass growing up if you don't eat what they make). Street parking only but not hard for the area. Ambience is nice, especially the bar area. Went here with my friends last night. Have been here multiple times before and I love the Pho they have! We were greeted upon arrival and asked to wait for a few mins while they were getting our table ready. They don't accept reservations on the weekend but we sat down within 5 mins. The place was packed. For drinks, I got the Mai Tai and my husband got Old Fashioned but they got Whiskey on the Rocks (charged us accordingly too). My friends got some beer and Cucumber Basil Martini. All our drinks were good! We got the crispy vegetarian spring rolls. They were a bit oily but tasted good. We don't eat fish sauce so they got us a soy sauce based dipping sauce which was nice. For main course, we got the Vegetarian Noodle soup. As usual the soup was really good in flavor but not WARM enough as you would expect for a soup based dish. The portions are generous. They had enough veggies, noodles and the condiments (basil, sprouts, jalapeno etc.) I like it extra Hot, so I usually add a little sriracha. That enhances the flavor even more. For desserts, we got Mango Mochi ice cream and it was YUMMY. They made a nice chocolate design on the plate which looked artistic :) It was so good that we ended up ordering another one and I wish I could have got more!!! Overall loved my experience. We were celebrating my birthday and five of us carefully selected this place out of many local Vietnamese choices. We felt it would be worth the 40 min drive. The atmosphere was nice, but the food and cocktails left us disappointed. $12 for a cucumber basil martini and very little alcohol. We all ordered various noodle soups. I got chicken pho and expected the usual generous pile of mint/basil and veggies to drop in. Instead the waiter gave us two plates with bean sprouts a sprig of basil and a sprig of mint and tiny wedges of lime. The broths were okay- nothing to jump and down about. They've been open since March, so it's a fairly young establishment that is growing fast. They have lines out the door during peak hours. Such a difference from the previous business at this site (Limey's)! The owner is always on site and meets with his staff regularly on how to improve (I'm listening in on a meeting as we speak), so this should be a well-oiled machine soon enough! I've ordered from here many many times over the years, whether in Framingham or Worcester. My order has been incorrect several times over that period but nothing that I couldn't work with. They added meat to a vegetarian order a couple times, that was fun. This last time may have me swear off their take out for good though. I specifically requested no sprouts or peanuts..no allergy just don't like them mixed in. I order it this way every single time and they get it right maybe half the time. It was in my vermicelli again. I also ordered vegetarian Summer rolls. You guys...they were inedible, not enough sauce could fix it. They basically wrapped up noodles, tofu and a whole lot of lettuce. No fresh or pickled veggies what so ever. I couldn't do it, it just looks so unappetizing and sad. I love Vietnamese food and always crave noodle soup when it's cold out. We decided to go for lunch. We ordered summer rolls, the pho special, bo kho & honeydew milk tea. I was happy with the broths. The summer rolls serving size felt really small. Don't know if it's worth getting again. We were allowed to seat ourselves at any table we chose. Halfway through our meal, the servers turned on a fan that was pointed directly at us so we asked them to turn it off. Service was noticeably slow and it wasn't even busy. For weekday lunch, I have the expectation that patrons want to be in and out to go back to work. For families with small children, I'd recommend asking for a high chair vs a booster for a booth. The space between the table and bench seating cannot be adjusted and children have to reach quite far. This was such a nice restaurant with really chic decor and a great ambiance. Theres a lot for parking behind the restaurant and also street parking nearby. They don't take reservations for after 6pm, so we went a little before 6 pm and got a nice booth to ourselves. Our waiter was really attentive but not overbearing. We got the soft shelled crab and spring rolls to start. The crab was delicious but the spring rolls had a weird filling. For my entree, I got the large bowl of pho and my boyfriend got the caramelized catfish. The broth in the pho was very flavorful and the portion size was HUGE (It was like 1.5 meals). They also gave plenty of meat and fresh veggies. The catfish was also good. It had bones in it so be careful while eating! I just came back from Pho Dakao in Framingham (4TH OF jULY). It was me and my son and we had a 40$ Groupon. We got there around 9pm and were warmly welcomed by a very nice and friendly gentleman /bartender named Steve i believe ( he was a big tall man). We started with the fresh rolls. They were succulent. My son had the PHO and i had the sizzling beef plate. Both meals were excellent. Then Steve informed us that we still had 10$ left and why not order somoething to take home for lunch tomorrow. So we order two servings of teriaky beef and he threw in some rice for us. Such a nice guy! Atmosphere was nice, place super clean and big.Lots of parking in fron tand back of building. I really want to like this place, and we keep going because I love Vietnamese food, and it's the only game in town...But every time we go, something is really wrong. Last time, my husband's banh xiao was a stir fry, which they insisted was the "style" that their B-chef cooked... Last night, the banh xiao was fine, tho light on the flavor, but the first sip of my watery canh chua soup revealed the chemical powder used...Ugh! Light on fish, light on veggies, I left 2/3 of the bowl, but the waitress didn't ask about it, and didn't ask me if I wanted to take it home...Guess she knew... One word, disappointing. I had not been here in awhile and decided to drop in on my way home. I wish I had just gone home. I ordered a Mai Thai which was just ok. I then decided to try their Pad Thai with beef. The amount of beef you get for the price of the dish is crazy. The beef that was provided looked like a "garnish," in other words, very little, which was very disappointing. I asked the server why so little and he said that it is usually a small amount.
