Had a great bowl of soup with my friend. We came here on our way home from Logan. I will definitely be back, thank you!

Sliced beef rice plate with an added egg

Came here for Vietnamese food. Parking was convenient and the lot was fairly big. We were able to sit at a booth and it was perfect size. I got the number 34 which was a rice plate with sliced pork and added an egg. Everything went well together with the fish sauce. No complaints! the iced milk tea was very sweet, also very light and milky. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also delicious and had a nice kick to it. Good place for Vietnamese food!

Very expensive, servings are tiny. We got the beef teriyaki to try, and it came with two tiny skewers that were dry and had a odd taste- disappointing

Love this place! We came here after having a nice long day in NH and driving back to MA. The pho was delicious (and speedy) and the service was friendly and accommodating. Love how the pho dac biet broth turned out, and the rice plate we got was pretty yummy too. The staff here are so sweet and quick with getting our family what we need to dine in, and the atmosphere (on a Sunday evening) was calm and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Chili paste oil for extra spice

Came in for Sunday Lunch, good service, and great food. Pho - very good tasty broth Caramelized Pork (family style) definitely hit the spot, pairs great a big bowl of rice. I added in some of my husband's fresh pho garnishes (basil and jalapeños) and some chili oil paste And everything came together deliciously !!!#BOMB I asked for a small bowl of broth, and the server came over with it quickly and charged a decent price for it. Overall super satisfying Sunday lunch. Keep up the great work!

Cool fish tank. Bar area to the right (not pictured) and dining area seating to the left of the fish tank.

To be completely honest I was shocked when Pho Da Lat opened up in Drum Hill, making it the third installment of this restaurant in a 10 mile area. Pho Da Lat took over the space vacated by Garlic Bistro and I am glad they did! What an awesome addition to Chelmsford! If I'm being transparent I really never had been to any of PDL's previous locations. After wanting a hearty Asian-style vegetarian meal I perused their nicely designed website and I was thoroughly impressed. My sister and I decided to grab take out last night: #92-a vegetable and tofu soup (pho style) and #94, vegetable and tofu with flat noodles and sauce. Total was $22.36 with tax which I found to be completely reasonable. The takeout was ready after 15 minutes and was piping hot! The bag was also heavy- an indication that I received my money's worth (hey, I'm not hating that entrees in the US are super-sized). The bartender was very nice and professional and helped me with the takeout order at the host podium. While at the restaurant I was impressed with the remodel and the modern design and clean, sleek look. There is also a pretty huge fish tank that separated the bar area from the dining area. I definitely would eat in the restaurant next time. The food was still hot when we made it to my parents house and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. #92 was separated into a canister of nicely seasoned broth and a paper takeout box with the medley of vegetables and tofu and vermicelli noodles in it. There was also a small container with some kind of brown spicy sauce which was excellent and a clear bag of sprouts, basil, jalapeño slices and lime wedges. #94 consisted of fresh vegetables and some sautéed tofu over flat noodles and sauce. Both entrees were delicious. I definitely enjoyed my meal and ordering experience and look forward to my next visit to the restaurant. Check it out for yourself! Thanks, Pho Da Lat, you guys are killing it in C-town. :)

Prices are amazing for what you get (Lunch specials 11am-3pm), especially in this economy. $13 total with tax gets you a full entree + your choice of pork fried rice, fried rice, or white rice + an appetizer of your choice + a soup or drink. This was a complete meal that you can easily have leftovers of. 2. The speed of service was great too, food was ready in 10 minutes from when I called and was fresh! 3. There is a very accessible parking lot outside, made it easy to pull in, get food, and leave. 4. The lady at the counter was very nice from picking up the phone and taking my order to handing it off. 5. They provided as much sauce, utensils, and napkins as you requested, no cheaping out! Overall, I can't speak for dining in (seemed a bit small to do so), however getting takeout was a wonderful experience and I will be eating here again!! Also they have online ordering through their website and through the major food delivery services

I love how the sauce for the chicken is so sweet and with a smidge of a kick. The meal does come with 2 sides. Didn't know it at the time, but Coke counts as a side. The 2nd being crab rangoons. Consistency of quality (texture, flavor) is less dependable. -- Hot and Sour Soup: Thick without being gloppy, filled densely with mushrooms, and hot in both the spice and temperature meanings. Simple and satisfying. -- Fish Filet with Green Sichuan Pepper: Had this one again and had the same great experience as described in the previous review. Thin broth but jumping with flavor. -- Twice Cooked Pork Belly 回锅肉 : A longtime favorite with instantly recognizable pork flavor, accented with black beans, and the added light crunch of leeks. It's a great combination. Tried twice during this cycle: once just right, once too fatty. -- Shredded Pork with Tea Tree Mushrooms 肉丝茶树菇 : A late August 2026 special with tender squiggles of pork balanced with sturdier "branches" of mushroom with an earthy flavor and a firm octopus-like texture. Nice balanced savory flavor without any need for heat. -- Sichuan Kung Pao Chicken 四川宫保 : A reliable standby when you want something with heat and flavor, but your dinner companions are not so adventurous. Very tender, a little sweeter than the "American" version and without the celery, but still authentic. -- F10 Fish Fillet in Chili Oil Sauce 水煮鱼 (on a lunch combo): This dish that I often get at night gives you nearly as much quantity on the lunch special, with a choice of soup, choice of rice, and choice of appetizer. Soft, tender boiled chunks in a bright red bath with a pile of red peppers and garlic on top (easy to remove anything you don't want), with cabbage and sprouts underneath. Spicy and best had in winter, but too good to skip in summer. I didn't get the promised numbing sensation this time, but it's a potently flavorful dish and one of my favorite renditions. -- Chicken Wing: Single whole connected wing included with a lunch combo was extra large, breaded, and very crunchy and juicy. No marinade flavor inside, so duck sauce was necessary. -- D03 Crispy Boneless Duck with Vegetables 蔬菜炸鸭 : Large platter of mostly duck, all of it with skin on, and most of it-- but not all of it-- crisp as billed. Minimal vegetation, which is a plus in that it maximizes meat but a minus if it's the only entree you're having. Simple flavor with a simple, thin brown sauce. Satisfying, but average. Interestingly, a taste from a friend's lunch special version of this dish a few weeks earlier had a lot more crisp, a lot more juiciness, and a lot more oomph to the sauce. Might depend on the day. -- F19 Crispy Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet 松鼠鱼 : Twin filets of fish, each about 10" long, boneless, extra extra crispy, and with fish within thin but still tender. The sauce was your typical Polynesian style fire engine red, with more sour than sweet, but nicely done with peas and without glop. A bit pricey but voluminous enough to provide plenty of meals and plenty of value. -- T06 Spicy Dry Pot Tofu 香锅豆腐 : A sauce less dish where the slices do the heavy lifting. Tofu triangles comprise about 80% of the pot, each one dark brown and a bit dry and over cooked. My wife, who's a tofu lover, said it was like chewing on rubber. The ledger shows mixed results from dish to dish and even from visit to visit for the same dish. But when they're on, Sichuan Palace is fabulous enough for a 5 (and some visits are 5). The inconsistency brings them down to a 4 (with some visits 3).

They have a big parking lot although it took a weird turn for me to figure out how to get to the street. And my car did get in the lot so just a warning for that even though the lot was basically empty somehow my car was struck ‍The service was great, they were attentive and were pretty quick to get all food. For appetizer we got the crab rangoon and beef rolls which are both with a good sized portion although the crab rangoon was more heavy on the cream flavor. We got the large size of the hot n sour soup and the portion was a lot larger than expected for the price of $6. The noodles were a little let down, lacking some flavor this was both for the cold noodles and beef soup. The mapo tofu and the sichuan chicken were definitely my favorite, the mapo tofu had the perfect numbing flavor that I love.

Then she brought the bill before we requested no one was waiting to be seated, then refused to split the bill when previous times with a different server was not a problem. We split the bill to only 2 because thats all she could do, me paying for 4 people she denies my tip amount and says if I don't tip a 18% , theywill charge me $80 extra for a party of 6, again we were only 4 people. Where am I suppose to go for BBQ Pork Buns / Char Siu Bao buns ?…read more I posed this question in the Worcester FB group and most of them pointed me towards this restaurant. I've previously eaten here a few times, but I've never managed to stop by early enough for their Dim Sum lunch until now. As a side note, I cannot believe Worcester doesn't have ANY restaurants that serve these buns? Sounds like some enterprising individual needs to fulfill this void. I normally drive all the way to Joyful Garden in Watertown when I have a Dim Sum craving. Other times I will already be wandering through Boston before I stop by Hei La Moon. I came here with the expectation that I will get the same quality foods. This place has got a pretty darn big parking lot. I'm not going to count every spot on Google Maps, but it's about 50 spots. So it should not be hard to park. Walking inside, I was quickly greeted by the wait staff and directed to my table. I'm no interior design expert, so I will candidly say that the decor totally yells 'very Chinese' and elegant. I don't know man, just look at the interior pictures and you'll understand what I mean. If you've never done Dim Sum before, it can be very overwhelming. Someone with a cart will come by and you'll have several seconds to process what's available and say "Yes" or "No" through a variety of dishes they point at. And then before you can recover, another staff member will come by with another cart with towers of steaming baskets and you go through the song and dance again. I kid you not, in the average Dim Sum experience you will sit down and then have a table full of food literally within a few minutes. Before I knew it, I had 3 plates and 3 baskets on my table. The verdict? Totally delicious. I'm not going to talk about every dish I got and wax poetic one by one. I don't have time for that, and if you've been to one Dim Sum place, then you've been to all of them. I will give a few shoutouts for the sake populating this review with important keywords. Char Siu Bao bun / Baked BBQ Pork bun ; this is my favorite dish and precisely the reason why I came in. The bread is so light and the pork filling is so delicious sweet and savory. I'm in heaven Chicken Feet ; actually, I will note that the chicken feet here are not as flavorful as other places I've been to. This is a small nitpick because it still firmly lands in the delicious spectrum. It's the difference between scoring an A and an A- Random Pork Bun ; ??? I cannot find it on the menu, but I chose a set of 3 buns that were filled with pork. The bun style was closely similar to the chewy glutinous sesame balls and they were filled more yummy pork. I've never eaten these before. Shiu Mai ; holy sh** these are the biggest Shiu Mai I've ever eaten. I had an awesome experience here and I recommend it anyone in the area to give this place a shot if they don't want to drive all the way to Malden/Watertown/Boston/Quincy.

Typically, you are quickly seated with the server checking in immediately and providing hot tea for the table. This is based on 3 recent visits, and weighted by the last visit which was a disappointment. The neon lights outside beckon you to come in. It's a brightly lit dining room with round tables typical a large Dim Sum restaurant in Boston. Perhaps a little too bright, but there is typically a table available. It offers late dining which is great. The food is certainly very good typically with good sized portions at a good value. The pan friend dumplings a large, tender and a great value. The Hunan and Sichuan dishes provide healthy portions. Definitely very good Chinese food for the area. It is typically served quickly and very hot. The service has been mixed. On a not so busy night, we felt ignored. It took a long time to get drinks (arriving with the food in one case) on one occasion.

I called to place an order of snow mountain sushi, beef and broccoli and house fried rice. I know every restaurant has their own spin on their house fried rice so I inquired what this included and she told me chicken, shrimp, pork and a mix of veggies like carrots, onions, peas and bean sprouts. I asked to exclude the pork and everything else was fine. I went to pick up the order, there is a large parking lot with plenty of space, nice front entrance and was greeted when entering the beautifully lit and decorated space from what I could see. The sushi was great, we loved it and would order again! The rice however was mushy, lacked salt/flavor and had no veggies whatsoever as I was told over the phone. The beef and broccoli was a bit too oily for our taste. I would order the sushi again but not the dishes I ordered. It would be helpful if they ensured the staff were knowledgeable on their dishes and what's included. Would have given 3.5 stars if I could!
