We have returned here a couple of times. My sister says it has more depth of flavor. Our visits and customer service have been so much better. Today we both ordered the Bun Bho Hue. It was delicious but we detected some type of spice seeds we are not commonly used to having in it and were spitting them out onto a napkin frequently. The flavor of the broth was well seasoned.

Yucky mushy tapioca pearls that were in my Thai tea. I poured the Thai tea into a separate cup & threw the pearls away.

We dined at Pho Cali in Macon for the first time a few weekends ago & it was good. I love pho & my favorite place is in Atlanta. When I'm in Macon & want pho, I'll dine at Pho Cali for a pho fix. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls & the oxtail pho. Both were good. There were several oxtails in the pho & they were meaty. I'd order it again, minus the meatballs. I didn't like the way the meatballs tasted. Also, the tapioca pearls were awful & mushy in my Thai tea. I would never order tapioca pearls in my Thai tea again from Pho Cali! Yuck!! The service was fine. The atmosphere was okay. The bathroom was clean.

When I walked in no one said anything. 2 other people walked in after me and they were told that they can sit anywhere. They also received menus before I did. I had to call the restaurant in order to receive a menu. After 5 mins, I still don't have a menu. Below is what I ordered.....nothing because I never I got a menu. The lady asked if I wanted to move seats, uuummm no. I'm content. Just got a menu. Total it took about 20mins to get a menu. Okay, I left no one cake to take my order nor do I have drinks. Yikes. This restaurant may be great for some, but not for me.

Estela was amazing! She ensured all our food was served hot and ready! Her service was amazing too. She created an ambiance in which we could eat in peace. We ordered the veggie pho and the oxtail and tenderloin pho. Both were incredible. We love this place! Highly recommend it for Vietnamese food!

This is a decent little spot. Ended up coming across this place on Yelp, while we were wrapping up with our visit to the Macon museum down the road..so I figured we would give it a try. My review is based on other Vietnamese places around this part of town. I've been spoiled by Chamblee/Duluth area restaurants and when compared to the big guns, this place wouldn't hold up...but when compared to it's local competition, this place is high up on my short list of places that I would tell people to go. The Pho broth was darker in color than what I am used to getting from other places, but it was fatty, salty and aromatic none the less. All the veggies were fresh and crisp. Their meat variety was a little on the light side, but the quality of the meat they did have, was good. The fresh rolls were tasty...I think I've come to the conclusion that I really don't like iceberg lettuce. The taste of the lettuce was not doing it for me, and I would have rather had a leafy green or heck even a romaine...the meat was a little on the sweeter side-not a knock just an observation. Their peanut sauce is more hoisin than peanut butter. Will be back, sometime I'm in Macon.

This small shop is in a strip mall. I had just checked into my hotel and was starving. Not wanting fast food chain I turned to Yelp and found this shop. My first disappointment was- it was closing in 10 min- they had changed times from 9 to 8. I could get food to take out but not eat in- There were 2 booths and a table of 8 still eating. I got my food to go. It got cold on the way back- only a 6 min. drive. I got coconut shimp appetizer- tasty but the sauce was bland (on the side) and I got a fav of mine at my local Vietnamese shop - vermicelli with pork, shrimp and egg rolls in it. Again the sauce was bland. Made me appreciate my local restaurant in Dunedin.

This restaurant is located on the edge of a shopping strip. I have been craving true Asian cuisine and was excited to try here. They specialize in Vietnamese food and the dishes I had were truly amazing. I had the grilled pork sliced spring rolls , beef tenderloin pho, and Thai milk tea. The spring rolls were delicious ! I was not expecting the sweetness of the meat but it was amazing none the less. The dipping sauce added another flavor element and I added sriracha which was in the table along side chili flakes, soy, sugar, oyster sauce, etc. I devoured these and wanted more but waited for my pho. The pho was mouthwateringly dynamic and flavorful. You can tell the broth had been made with live and over time. I loved the pho by itself but added sriracha, oyster sauce, and chili oil to add some heat and extra flavor. This only enhanced the quality of the dish. Not only was the broth amazing, but the meat was tender, the noodles were perfect, and the boat of bean sprout, mint, cilantro, and mine were fresh and made the pho all the more enjoyable. I am happy I found this gem and will be back to explore the menu more soon. If you're thinking about go here..: do it now ! I took my Thai milk tea with boba to go. It was creamy, sweet, and just how I like my Thai milk tea. The boba was chewy and well flavored.

Stopped by on our way home from Warner Robin's and was not disappointed! Upon entering we were greeted and seated. The place is very clean and seating is spaced out. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. We ordered a large and regular size pho, R1.grilled pork rice dish, strawberry smoothie, and mango smoothie. Both with tapioca. Food was delicious and I was surprised at how fresh everything was! The pho was up there with my favorite pho spots. I could smell the spices from the hot and satisfying broth. Everyone gets their own serving of herbs. I asked for steamed sprouts and received just that. Did miss the basil and culantro that usually comes with pho which isn't included. The noodles were also a little overdone and breaking in the soup. But overall the broth made the dish and I wouldn't hesitate to order pho again from here. The rice dish we ordered came with broken Jasmin rice, pork chops, shrimp, eggroll, a fried egg, pickled carrots and daikon, lettuce, and cucumber. It also came with a fish sauce based sauce. This dish is THE dish that I'm most looking forward to ordering the next time we stop by. Not only did the dish look beautiful it was full of flavor. The pork chops were thin but not dry. I could actually taste the lemongrass in the marinade on the chops and that was a surprise to me. The smoothies were amazing. They actually had real fruit in the smoothies! The ultimate test was the avocado smoothie but they ran out so that will have to be for the next time we stop by. And there will definitely be a next time!

My husband and I ordered seafood pho and it was good. However the imitation crab was unusually soft like it was over cooked. The fish balls was a little rubbery but outside the flavor was pretty descent. We called in our order and was rushed off the phone had to call back and request extra Saigon sauce that we didn't get. read more

Road tripping throughout the southeastern part of the USA for the last three weeks, this was one of my best stops for food. Having looked on Yelp around lunch time for a place to stop, I picked Pho Cali based on the positive reviews and my love for Vietnamese food. I diffidently was not disappointed. The place was clean and inviting with friendly staff. I tried the R1-House Special Rice Dish and everything on dish was prepared perfectly.The shrimp where plump, and juicy and seasoned well, all the different types of pork's on the dish where outstanding. Everything about the dish was a home run in my opinion. I also ordered a Grilled Pork Banh Mi to-go and that as well was outstanding the the baguette was light and fluffy in the inside with a crispy crackly outside, filled with delicious, fresh ingredients. i diffidently will stop again the next time I come through this way. I look forward to trying the Pho. read more

Great food and great service. The mango and the coconut pineapple smoothies are awesome. Also had a passion fruit boba iced tea and my husband had the Thai iced tea with boba. The shrimp fresh rolls were great as well. I got the sliced beef and grilled shrimp vermicelli bowl and my goodness it's a lot of food and so yummy. Hubby got the pork chop, shredded beef, with broken rice and fried egg. He also got a side of the grilled shrimp and lemongrass chicken, all so tasty read more

Today we decided to actually sit in a restaurant and eat, so this is the first time in a year we had pho. We first went to our old place and no one wore a mask so we left. Came here and everyone was super safe and as a plus the waitress we loved at the old place is now working here. The food was amazing. Their peanut sauce was some of the best I ever had. read more

Very good Korean. Modern take on Korean favorites and new dishes with Korean influence. It is spot-on and prices are very affordable. Chicken nuggets with sesame fries are my favorites. Bibimbap is another and excellent. All ingredients are fresh!! A must try!! read more

Traveling through on Mother's Day, trying to find a GF/ DF option that wasn't a huge wait and least likely to make me sick with hours left on the road. Saw this pho Cali on an upcoming city hub, and since Pho is always a pretty safe (and delicious) bet stopped in. Food was wonderful and piping hot, and our server was so friendly. Place was very clean, and we watched them clean tables thoroughly after every guest right down to the condiments, and all employees were wearing masks. We were passing through on our way from TN to FL and stopped in Macon for the night. It was chilly out so a nice hot bowl of Pho was all I kept thinking about. I found this place on Yelp and quickly ordered some Pho. The portion was hug, hot and delicious. We also ordered a pork Bah Mi which was equal tasty. The staff was super friendly. The inside was clean and nicely decorated. You won't be disappointed. read more

I checked this place out based on the positive reviews and they are 100% right. The restaurant is super clean, friendly staff, covid compliant, with hand sanitizer on the tables. By far the best pho broth in Macon. The shrimp spring rolls were fresh and delicious. I could taste each ingredient in the Jasmine peach green tea. Overall excellent. I will get my pho exclusively from here moving forward. Nowhere else in town even comes close. read more

It looks small when you walk past it but inside it is very nice. The air conditioner feels amazing on a hot summer day but there is not many seating so be prepared to wait on a busy day. It is nice and clean everywhere and the employees are very nice. The Pho is humongous big enough to feed 2 people and the bubble tea is awesome but they gave us too much ice and there was barely and liquid so when the ice melted it tasted like flavored water but a little more creamy. I would say 8 out of 10! I highly recommend it read more

For me personally, the broth needed a little extra help from the add-ins (hoisin, sriracha, herbs, etc.) to really bring out the flavor I was looking for. Once adjusted, it was enjoyable. I will say prices seem to have gone up a bit, but you do get a decent amount of food for what you pay. Overall, it's a reliable spot when you're craving pho.

Short Lady with gray hair who serves food is nice and rude to who she chooses, I witnessed her give me and my husband the upmost respect and service however the person sitting to left of me had his table cleared while he was in the restroom. and never once asked him if he was done or would have liked to go containers prior to him using the restroom. let alone she did not say anything except " you ready to pay? when he noticed his table had been cleared after coming back from the bathroom. I give the guy props for not going off on her or asking for a refund because i would have caused an uproar over that. I slick feel bad for not standing up for the man because you saw defeat and unfairness in his face leaving out the restaurant. The short lady who takes the orders and serves the food is extremely rude. She rather assume people are done with there food and clean off their table when the person goes to the restroom rather than SIMPLY asking if the guest is done eating. Instead of making a scene I simply paid my $40 bill and left. I was never offered to go containers even though i had a half bowl of pho and hot tea left. And to throw into consideration she OFFERED the two tables before me to go containers when they boasted about the portion sizes. I feel really irritated about this since its less than a week it happened. Yea sure the food is good but service has always been 50/50 with the short older lady. Therefore i suggest coming with a paper that says " i am not done with my food" for display when you do come read more
