The handful of shrimp was adequate, but the broccoli was overwhelming and just a half dozen slivers of carrot. The above were all laid on top of a bed of white rice, instead of having the rice in a separate container like every other Chinese take-out have done for all my life. At home, I took my wok, added mushroom, onion and some yellow squash then later added the carrot slices, some of the broccoli and the shrimp to the wok, finished with my own HOT chili sauce and a splash of white wine, reheated some of the rice and made the meal more appetizing. The service was fine. The ambiance of the retail space/dining area were cluttered with a lot of boxes of supplies as if there was no storage space available.

The food quality was above par and the delivery experience was spectacular. I was very happy with the experience. And, I also ordered a hot and sour soup which arrived well packaged and very HOT!

Got it level 4 out of 5 and I believe I can handle the Thai hot heat level. It wasn't that spicy. Tum ka soup, yummy. Could be hotter but flavorful. Yellow curry delicious. Will be back

They are all ready for Valentines as well. Decorated with so many hearts, balloons and flowers! They even have a Photo Booth for you and your sweetheart to take a memorable pic! James sat us and we were quickly greeted by our server (I completely apologize because I do not catch her name). I was excited it was both Thai and sushi! I started with Tom Yum with chicken soup and it was a perfect to begin the meal. The flavors all tingle your palate and dare it to be unhappy. Followed with the One Night in Bangkok roll which contained everything I love to eat in one delicious bite. Plating was just beautiful with fresh leaves and flowers. Hubby tried a new roll he had never experienced - Cowboy Roll. He says he just found a new favorite roll! Also his Philly roll he declared "the best Philly roll I've ever had to date!" I really like that they use brown rice in that roll versus white. I sure wish we lived closer to it.... Maybe hubby will want to move! Thank you to the staff for a great relaxing meal after 5 hours of driving! See you next time we are through the area!

The food, is bland more times than not, and regardless of what you get, it all has such a similar flavor, that you don't feel you're getting anything different. You do get a lot of bang for your buck, with a three entree and rice combo coming in at just under $7, but that's the only upside. The food is edible, but mostly tastes like its been sitting under heat lamps for hours. A great place to go if you want a big cheap dinner, and you're alright with quantity over quality, but for a slightly longer drive, and a couple of bucks more, you can find much better food.

I had eaten here a couple of times before, but it had been over 15 years, and this was my wife's first visit. We started with the crispy shrimp rolls and pork shumai, and both appetizers were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin our meal. For our entrées, my wife ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and mixed vegetables, while I had the lemon chicken with the double noodle salad. Everything was cooked fresh, tasted amazing, and came out incredibly fast. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience. Fresh food, fast service, good portion size, and excellent customer service. We'll definitely be back. 10/10! I highly recommend Tokyo Alley!

Tucked away in a alley off 2nd Street in downtown Macon. Tokyo Alley feels like one of those "if…read moreyou know, you know" kind of spots. Thankfully, it's just a short stroll down the alley and you're greeted by a quaint exterior that already sets the tone. We were in the area on a Saturday night, and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was packed. Inside, the ambiance is intimate and cozy, perfect for date night or a low-key evening out. Despite its small size, they've managed to make great use of the space and accommodate a solid crowd without it feeling overwhelming. We didn't make reservations, and although the wait wasn't bad at all, we decided to order to go instead. The woman at the front was friendly, professional, and kept things moving smoothly while a constant stream of customers walked in as others were checking out. The menu is refreshingly simple. We started with the crispy shrimp roll appetizer, which was a hit. The sauce it came with tasted house made and paired beautifully. For our entrées, we both went with the stir fried veggies with shrimp in garlic sauce. I got mine with noodles and fried rice, while my husband went all in with double rice. The portions were generous, and the veggies were fresh and cooked just right. The garlic sauce, it didn't quite hit the flavor note I was hoping for. And the fried rice? A bit on the bland side. However, the cold noodles that came with my dish was surprisingly tasty (think angel hair pasta tossed in a creamy sauce that somehow just works). Unexpected star of the show. Overall, the prices were reasonable, the portions were solid, and the customer service was great. While everything didn't completely wow me, there's definitely enough potential here to bring me back. Next time, we'll come prepared, make reservations, dine in, and explore more of the menu.

After seeing the stellar reviews, I decided to give Pho Cali Vietnamese Soup & Grill a try. I've now ordered from them three separate times to give a fair, honest take. Ordering online has been easy each time, and my go-to has been the seafood stir-fried noodles. My first order was actually really good. The seafood and vegetables were fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful, though there were quite a few noodles and they leaned a bit mushy. My second visit, I ordered the same dish and it came with lo mein noodles instead, which changed the texture and overall experience in a way I didn't enjoy as much. On my third try, I went in hoping to recreate that first experience, but it landed a bit underwhelming again. That said, the fried calamari was a standout, crispy, well seasoned, and honestly some of the best I've had. While I haven't dined in yet, the few interactions I've had during pickups have been pleasant. The staff is friendly, the space appears clean, and the ambiance feels cozy and inviting. Based on the reviews, I know the pho is what many people come for, so that will definitely be my next order. Overall, it's a spot I'm willing to revisit, especially to explore more of the menu beyond what I've tried so far.
