Hometown favorite..... always fresh and fast for quick and easy Chinese.... Steam pork dumplings are my go to lunch!

Moo Shu Pork is another favorite dish. Honestly, I prefer to eat it with the "pancakes" as a wrap. These are more tortilla shells that are super thin and will break easily but they work. Honestly if I could get extra shells instead of the rice I would. It's my preferred way to eat it. read more

Food ordered at Ming's, for take out the week of 18 May 2026, was extremely disappointing! Food tasted spice-less and there were a tremendous amount of vegetables with minimal protein (beef and chicken). Does Ming's have a new chef? Food is expensive. Having a ton of vegetables can help stretch the budget. Sadly, we won't order takeout from Ming's again for a while. read more

This is the best Chinese in Macon . They load u up and the food is bomb . Every time u open the food it's like Christmas

I love this takeout place. Since moving to Macon, it's become my go to spot. The food is always fresh and so delicious. I normally call ahead because it's about a 15 minute wait after your order is placed. The people are really nice and the portions are always a good size. While in Macon, we stopped at for take-out at Ming''s. Choosing the garlic shrimp, we also had rangoons (good flavor, prefer a thinner wrap) & their hot 'n sour soup. We were pleased with the generous portions as well as the flavors. We received our order quickly & with a smile. read more

Was in Macon, GA for a couple of weeks following Hurricane Helene. Was in the mood for Chinese food and Ming's had decent reviews compared to a couple of others in this part of the city. I'm from the northeast and Ming's had a different style of preparation than what I'm used to. For example, the chicken wings were battered as if they were fried chicken. Didn't taste bad, but I've never seen that with Chinese restaurant wings. I also got General Gau's chicken. I'm not a fan of egg rolls, so was happy when the cashier said that I could get the small order that doesn't include egg roll (and is a couple of dollars less than the dinner plate. The food wasn't fabulous, but it wasn't terrible. Overall, though, everything lacked salt/seasoning so it was pretty bland. read more

The owner took our order and for some reason prepared a third order of a large house special low mein for an additional $12. I told him we didn't order it, but he insisted we did. Until now I've had mini issues with this establishment. Today I ordered Egg Fu Young for the first time and it was burned. Went to ask for a remake and the owner argued it was the grease. My rebuttal was that your grease sir is too hot and the dish tastes burnt. Well in typical Asian fashion, there was no pleasing the customer! After all I'm just one right. read more

The only reason I left 4 stars is because they can't take foot traffic, there is only drive thru or walk up to window, which is on a dimly lit thru alley, so I felt a bit sketched out on that end of the shopping center. Also, I tend to reseeve five stars until I find consistency. The phone call for take out was pleasantly efficient. At the time being, they may be short staffed, or they are just that busy! Google reviews are high and we were there so we checked it out, starting with some basics. General Tso sub lo mein for rice and Sesame chicken, same. Qt. Hot and sour soup, extra egg rolls and an order of spring rolls ran us about $38. It fed our army quite nicely. The soup has a very robust beef base. It is good but unexpected. Chocked FULL of ingredients, there was not a bite that didn't offer umami goodness with a perfect amount of heat. Chicken dishes were just as they should be flavor wise, and plentiful. My wife has a severe sesame allergy. She asked the staff numerous times if the dumplings she was ordering had sesame in it because she had an allergy. They assured her they did not. Well, they did and my wife had a severe allergic reaction. Will not eat at this resturant again due to safety and health concerns. read more

Best Chinese take out food that I think I've had anywhere. Fast, reliable, and delicious. The portions are quite large for the price, but that doesn't mean they've skimped on quality. We've gotten take out from Ming's numerous times. At prime dinner time or weekends, it's sometimes difficult to get through over the phone because they're so busy. If the phone is busy, keep trying!
