I stumbled across this place a couple of months ago, and truth be told, it took about one visit to…read morecement itself right into my weekly lunch rotation. Finding a spot up here that nails the bread texture without shredding the roof of your mouth is rare. The baguettes here hit that golden ratio of an airy crumb with a light, shatteringly crisp crust. Every sandwich I have ordered has been great, but the roast pork is the real star. You get generous cuts of roasted pork belly with an incredible blistered crunch, balanced out by their rich house pâté, cool cucumber, and that bright, vinegary punch of pickled daikon and carrot. It is hearty, heavy in the hand, and keeps you full well past the afternoon slump. Pair it with the Thai milk tea. It is properly steeped, creamy, and hits the sweet spot without tasting like liquid candy. The space itself is modern, hip, and comfortable enough that you want to stick around rather than just grab a bag and bolt. The crew behind the counter is always genuinely warm and welcoming every single time you walk in. The pastry case with their baked goods keeps catching my eye on the way out, so that is on the docket for next week. It is just a great local spot doing things the right way.
