Here I am in Paris craving for asian food and Iucky this place is near our hotel. To be honest, I was very skeptical when I first read their reviews. I mean, which restaurants serve Vietnamese food and dim sum?? Lmao Anyway, the food was FABULOUS! Omg even better than some of the Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver. We had bun bo, bo luc lac, spring rolls and salad rolls. The bun bo (vermicelli with beef) was so tasty! Portion was generous and the spring rolls were nice and crunchy. The bo luc lac (Vietnamese shaking beef with tomato rice) was THE BEST I have ever had. The tomato rice was hot and perfect texture. The beef they used was of higher quality (confirmed by the owner). It was soooo tender! Must order this dish for beef lover! Prices were very good. Service was friendly and efficient.

Beef pho. If it can be considered that, it would be more northern style than southern style.

Updating my review because it was for 3 stars, not 4. Everything else is the same though.

Just what an Asian girl needed after 4 days of pasta. Would recommend fried spring rolls, beef pho, and the beer!

The best and our favorite is the "Riz au Boeuf Luc-Lac". The beef is so tender, "Filet Mignon", cut into cube bite-size and is quick sauté, that leaves the beef crispy on the outside and medium rare in the inside, the French calls it "à point". The quick fried rice with tomato paste is so good, just by itself. We love the egg-rolls (Cha gio), they call it "Nems". They use the real traditional Vietnamese rice-paper instead of the wheat flour paper that we see in the U.S. Awesome meal that we had, thank you, chef!

This place really hit the spot! After a week of nonstop bread, I was craving something soupy and flavorful. We walked in and were seated right away. The man running the restaurant was so kind and gregarious. We ordered the beef pho and chicken egg rolls. The egg rolls were very delicious. They came out piping hot and had an incredible crisp to them. The pho was also very good. The soup base was delicious and flavorful and the portion was great. There was a lot of meat and the man brought us over some chilies when we said we liked spice. My only wish is that the noodles weren't as soft, as they began to fall apart. Other than that, fantastic meal!

Stayed in Paris for 5 beautiful days and on the last evening we wanted to try Pho, because we'd never had it before. What a GREAT CHOICE. I had the beef and tomato rice, he had the curry duck, we both shared shrimp rolls and had red wine. The best part was the wonderful service. These AMERICANS were full off the great food and the great service and the owner speaks many languages. Clean and really quaint with super fast service. A++++ You will not be disappointed!!!!

    Spicy and regular beef pho.

Perfect pho and very friendly staff too. The pho has a tasty base and is full of tender meat. We also tried the dumplings. They were good but do yourself a favor and get the pho.

I've tried multiple of pho spots in Paris and this one has to be the winner. The soup base for the pho is delicious. You could taste the ingredients they use to brew it. The beef in the pho was phenomenal. They cut their beef thicker then how normal pho places do. They didn't do thin cuts of the beef causing it to be too tough to chew if you have it at the end. There was only one beef ball, which sucks because it was good. (I also may have a slight obsession with beef balls haha). On the side, they give you spicy oil with a combination of some other sauce. If you mix it, it creates a great blend of spice. Very good with the beef. There are also small cut pieces of pepper for you to spice up your soup. As for the interior of the restaurant, there are about a total of 25 seats. The restaurant filled up quite quickly. The service was amazing, he was quick and really nice. He spoke about 5 languages!! It's quite fascinating. Overall, amazing pho place, definitely worth trying.

Wow, this place is amazing. We ordered pho, chicken egg rolls and bo luc lac. Everything was delicious. The meat was so tender and melted in your mouth. Great prices and very kind staff. We will be returning. Great little find!

This is a great little restaurant located across from Hotel Aida Opera. It was not on Google Maps nor and yelp. We found it by chance, and the food is delicious. My family of 4 ate for €58, which included appetizers, drinks including a beer, and main meals. All of us enjoyed our food, and we would go back in a heartbeat. Service was also very friendly and the owner spoke some English.

Pho came out shortly. Everything about it was almost perfect. From the clear and aromatic broth to bouncy not mushy noodles, to beef that was soft, fresh without any funky aftertaste that some other places have. The multiple layers of herbs brought everything together. All in €20 and warm and friendly service to match. If the weather is right , outside tables are an option. Staying around Republique was a great rotation to my stay.

I started with the nem du porc (crispy spring rolls) they came with fresh lettuce and mint that you wrap the rolls in before dipping into delightful sauce. They were truly the most incredible ones I have had in a long time if not the best of all time. The herbs were so fresh. I also got the Pho Boeuf (pho tai). The noodles were bouncy and the broth clean and simple. The was more than ample beef and they give you sauces and lime to go with it. Just know the bean sprouts are already in there in case you don't enjoy those but they were easily avoidable. I was also able to get some chilis to spice up the broth but they are Thai chilis so beware! I also got a Vietnamese limeade to drink and it was delightful. The server was very sweet and I feel like everything came out in a timely manner. If you are jonesing for Vietnamese in Paris this is the place to go hands down.
