    Crispy spring rolls
    Melissa W.

The spring rolls come in orders of 4 and they were pretty good, nice and crispy. For entree, I had the green curry with chicken. Surprised that it didn't come with any rice as is standard for curry dishes. Rice is an additional €3.50. The food was fine but on the small side. I noticed the tables next to me were slurping up their dishes in a matter of minutes and commenting they were still hungry. Overall solid food but not great value.

Fabulous food! Service was great! I would highly recommend going! Umami bomb in a casual atmosphere! I will be back if I'm in Paris!

This review is for Bien2. There are two restaurants owned by the same family within two store fronts from each other. One is Bien Bien, which serves Thaï and Chinese (the couple are Thaï and Chinese). The other is Bien2, which serves primarily Thai dishes. We opted for the latter. I would have rated this place 4 stars but my husband convinced me to give them a higher rating. In my humble opinion, a dining experience can be completely altered negatively by the service you receive, no matter how amazing the food is. So, let me breakdown the points: Food - 5 Stars Ambiance - 5 Stars Bartender Hospitality - 5 Stars Server Hospitality- 2 Stars The restaurant was elegantly set up. The bartender was friendly and hospitable the entire time, often helping our sever during our dining experience. The server was a little cold -- as if she didn't want to take care of the guests. She often rushed to get the plates off our table even if it was clear we weren't finished with the dish. She was annoyed that we asked for the "larger" (i.e., regular) wine glasses instead of the cordial glasses we got along with our bottle of Tavel rosé. She was also put-off when I asked her to point me to the direction of the bathroom. Sigh. The food was excellent tho! The curry was perfectly seasoned -- not too creamy, not too watery. And the shrimp and vegetables were properly cooked. We can't stand over-cooked shrimps! The mixed veggies were also amazing. And finally, the "Money Bag" was delicious! One last funny, but nice touch was the array of perfumes and colognes in the bathroom on offer, free of charge. LOL.

    Sweet and spicy fried catfish

Came across this restaurant because we were looking for a "quick" meal. The service is fantastic and the staff are friendly and welcoming (which is refreshing when you are traveling)! We ordered the pad thai with chicken and shrimp, pad seew with beef, sweet & spicy fried fish, and a combo noodle dish. The dishes are fairly small (for American standards) so I could probably eat 1.5-2 items. It is decent Thai food at reasonable prices and most importantly, fast! I would definitely stop by here again if I wanted noodles or a quick meal.

Friendly and welcoming staff, although I can speak a little French they were more than happy to converse in English which was great as my husband doesn't speak any French. The food was amazing. I don't think I have had better Thai anywhere. Great flavor, great price. Definitely recommend.

Pretty good Thai food. They are vegetarian (can substitute with tofu) friendly and speak English so you can really customize your meal, if needed. Overall, I've had much better Thai food in the states (more flavorful) but would recommend this place. Prices are very reasonable. Spice level medium is sufficient if you normally get spicy. It seems like they have two properties next to each other with the same name. Probably gets much busier fri-sun.

Too bad the waitress was super rude to us, this would've been a 5 star rating. We ate at the Bien2 restaurant which probably only holds about 20-25 customers at a time. The place was small, but the food was great. The food was so good we wanted to go back the next day, but the waitress stopped that from happening. First of all, my dad nicely asked if there was French beer (in a Thai restaurant in FRANCE) which the waitress said with a chuckle, "This is a Thai restaurant, we only have Thai beer" then proceeds to tell the bartender that story- which we clearly heard cause it was a small place. Rude. We ordered chicken Pad Thai, shrimp Pad Thai, duck Drunken Noodle, Beef Drunken Noodle & chicken Fried Rice. The portions are small, but the flavors were big! We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Second interaction with the rude waitress was when I called her over to order another rice dish. As she was leaving, I tried to call out to ask her for some tea at my mom's request. She didn't hear me so I waited until I can get her attention again. She comes over again & I order tea. She then says, "Is that all? Is that all you want? Cause you keep calling me over here." With a serious face one. FIRST OF ALL, you're a WAITRESS. You're suppose to be waiting on us. Oh my god, the nerve. Mind you, the restaurant was small so it took her 4 steps to get to us. Ugh, good thing the bartender was nice to us and the food was good, she would've felt my wrath & I probably would've gotten physical. The nerve.

Pretty delicious Thai food which I was surprised to find here in Paris. We ordered an array of thing spicy coconut chicken soup (Tom Kha Kai), Pad Thai, Pat See Ew, Thai fried rice (Khao Pad) and everything was delicious. For any one who has been to Thailand it is pretty authentic and they even have Chang beer. It's also a really reasonable dinner not too expensive at all so I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for good authentic Thai food.

Very tasty, authentic, easy to get tofu substitute even if it's not on the menu. Small, popular, and crowded.

Excellent food and strong drinks. Give it a shot but you'll probably need a reservation if you want to eat dinner there in a weekend!
