Anytime I go away, I always find a Vietnamese spot. Who would have known I would find one in Paris?! And the best part is they had Banh Xeo in the menu. That is my go to item! Order the Banh Xeo and small spring rolls. Blew me away. Tasteful, properly prepared and delicious. Tasted like my mother's spring rolls and that's a long shot!!! Definitely try this place! Highly recommend!!

Great service, food was delicious. I had the beef pho and fried spring rolls. They both had good flavor and price was reasonable. The restaurant is on the smaller side as I think it had about 12 tables inside and two tables outside. Clean interior with normal Vietnamese portraits and decoration. I went on a Monday evening for dinner and it was quite busy. The owner was welcoming and provided good service. Overall great service and food! Would definitely come back again.

We were craving Vietnamese food in Paris and found this place. 10/10 recommend the loc lac dish. My parents were impressed with it. We haven't had loc lac cooked with that much flavor and as well as how they made it. The fried chicken was very good too. We also tried their deal where you get 2 dishes and a dessert. I don't recommend unless you really want to try pretty small portions of different things. The 2 dishes we got were the chicken salad and pho which were both good but the dessert wasn't much. The lychee was canned. The service was very friendly and nice. Each table was pretty close to each other, but we didn't mind.

After a week of French food, we were excited to find a Vietnamese restaurant in Paris. Our excitement was quickly evaporated when the food arrived at our table. The portions were small and most of the items ordered were not well made and didn't have the flavor that separates these well-known authentic Vietnamese dishes. The crepes were thick and hard instead of thin and crispy. The accompanying vegetables weren't fresh either. The hot & sour shrimp soup was bland and didn't have much flavor. The grass lemon chicken was badly made and you barely get any chicken. The stew fish in a clay pot was the only dish that was closely represented and tasty. This is truly a family restaurant. The owner did everything. He was our hostess, server, food runner, cashier, etc. Therefore, I do appreciate a place like this but I also wished for more authentic Vietnamese dishes in Paris.

We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was here! Decided to get Vietnamese food after a long day of traveling. Everyone was tired and hungry, and this was near our hotel so we stopped in. We chose this place since they had banh xeo on the menu, figuring it was a sign of authenticity and we weren't disappointed. The produce was extremely fresh -- lettuce and tomatoes and especially the beef, which was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. My kids devoured their pho, and the staff was kind and spoke some English. Restaurant felt family run.

Was missing Vietnamese food so much we decided to eat here in Paris. We got banh xeo(yellow crepe) was so crunchy and delicious! We also got banh cuon and shaken beef with red rice and both were satisfying. Will definitely come back if we are in Paris again.

Pho: was the saddest I have ever eaten, for $12 it was tiny and only had a few slices of meat. Ive had countless pho and generally $12 gets you a large with meatballs, beef slices, tendon and tripe. Flavor was good, portion small. rice vermicelli: was proper portioned and tasted good Service: not the fastest but not too slow. Around 15min

After a week of Italy my husband and I started to really crave Asian food. So we yelped what's around our hotel. luckily we found etoile de saigon we liked etoile de Saigon so much that we came back the following day for dinner. Ordered: *pho bo- 2 thumbs up! very flavorful! small and large options available. *ca kho tho- comes with a bowl of rice. it's made in a clay pot which is the authentic way of making it. *bun thit nguong-pretty tasty as well! overall, the portion sizes are just right. prices are also pretty fair for france. coming from someone who eats vietnamese food all of the time i would say that the quality and authenticity of the food is definitely 100% legit! owned by an old vietnamese couple. this yelper would highly recommend you to come here. tips: *closed sundays *accepts credit card and cash. *speaks english, french, and vietnamese. *indoor and limited outdoor seating. *restroom available for customers

We wanted to try Vietnamese food while in Paris and this restaurant was only a few minutes walk from our hotel. The menu is in French, Vietnamese, and English, and the owner spoke enough English to answer all our questions. I ordered a three course dinner with a Vietnamese-style salad with chicken, porc au caramel, and perles coco for dessert-- everything was fresh and tasty. My mom ordered A1, which was a roasted pork chop with rice, and she was very happy with what she got. The portions were very generous and we left feeling very contented. Everything came under €30, making it the cheapest dinner we've had in Europe! This is a great place for authentic Vietnamese a stone's throw from the Arc. We may come again tomorrow--it's that good!

Talk about nostalgia, eating the authentic Vietnamese dishes whipped up by the brilliant chefs in the back. Ca canh chua (catfish soup) and ca kho to (caramelized and braised catfish) were so tasty, I felt as if I was eating Mom's home cooking. I was visiting from Houston, TX and had to try the Parisian, Vietnamese cuisines (along with endless designer shopping)! My mate had a big bowl of beef filet pho and a side of crispy egg rolls. The only thing he wished was in the pho was beef meatballs. Other than that, food is fresh and super authentic! Vietnamese and Parisian speaking couple, what appears to be husband and wife. The restaurant was quaint and cozy. Don't have your cell phone ringer on loud because guests were pretty quiet during dinner.

OMG I loved this place so much!!!! Looks like a family-owned Vietnamese place. Quite frankly, because of history, I thought it would be ironic to have Vietnamese food in France. But we could not stop craving for some Asian food after all. We've been told that Vietnamese in France make up over half of the Vietnamese population in Europe. Food: Crevettes caramel Banh cuon + riz Soupe Pho Beignet de banane Yes, we ordered a lot from appetiser to dessert. We wanted to try all signature dishes they had! There is nothing from what we ordered that I can complain. The portion of appetiser was perfect. Enough amount of shredded(?) shrimp mingled with veggies. Bang cuon... gosh! I don't know how they made the sauce but it was amazing! It wasn't salty or greasy but just amount of deep flavor that is marinated well to shrimp and veggies! Mix the leftover sauce with rice! Omg. Soupe Pho... i died. Maybe I am dramatic but I seriously think that it was the best Vietnamese food I have had besides the one in Vietnam about 10 years ago! The soup was so subtle. Sometimes you will find lots of places that just add bunch of spices that loose the relaxing taste of the long brewed soup. But this soup I tasted was soooooo good. Not stimulating. Just. Feel. Like. I am at my grandma's place. When we were done with all the plates, they thought we were ready to pay. But, we wanted to also try their dessert, too. Lol. We got fried banana. Honestly i did not expect too much, because it's literally a friend banana. But, wow. Even the coating of banana was well cooked. Crispy outside and soft inside. Overall, definitely 5 out of 5. Food perfect. Restaurant interior was neat. Even the corner of the wall had no dust. Super clean. The service was so friendly and warm - felt like i was in my grand parents' place. If I visit Paris again, I will definitely come back to this place. Thanks so much!!

To be honest, it'll be hard to beat the Pho we have at home in the Bay Area. However, it was delicious and perfect for a rainy day in Paris. It was our first day in Paris, but we were coming from Amsterdam and Brussels where we had eaten tons of dessert. I wanted something that felt like home and from the reviews, we decided to pop in and try it out after taking photos at the Arc de Triomphe. We had gotten there right at 630 when it opened back up for dinner so there was no wait. They don't have the same variety and really only had the Pho Tai available. It had the affect we needed to make us feel at home again. The broth was hot, not salty, and didn't give me the after MSG feeling in my mouth like other Pho restaurants. The beef was meaty and fresh... It was wonderful :) We ordered the pork nems; however, we only got 4 rolls and in the photo on the menu it shows 6 or 8. We didn't complain because we were starving and didn't really think about it, but definitely ask beforehand.

Yea, I'm in Paris and should be eating at all these Michelin restaurants but you can't change cravings. I searched for pho and found Com Home. It wasn't too far from our hotel so I decided to check them out. The place is a cozy hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant but it's full of charm. They offer Vietnamese cuisine to dine in and take out. The owner is this sweet old lady. She visited Hawai'i about 5 years ago to celebrate her mother-in-law's 100th birthday. During her two week stay, she picked up 3 pieces of art to hang on her walls in the restaurant. She knew I was going to order pho when I walked in so I ordered a steak and meatball pho for dine in and a Grandma Bu Lac Lac Shanking Beef to go for Mink. The pho had a bed of fresh bean sprouts on the bottom of the bowl with the thick cut noodles in the middle and the beef with meatballs on top. She provides a lemon wedge, a homemade chili sauce, hoisin sauce and fresh cut Thai chili. Mink said her order was really good as she devoured almost all of it. Friendly customer service with comfort food. Support a small local businesses near the famous L'Arc de Triomphe.

I really wanted…read moreto like it because it looked like a cute little spot, that was run by a little old lady. We came in on a Monday at around 12:45. There are only about 6 tables (2 inside and 4 outside) and there were 2 other tables dining there at the time. Service is very slow, understandably so since it's a one-woman show. This might be okay if the food was good but it was not and it was pretty expensive for (less than) standard Vietnamese food. To start, we ordered the chicken cha gio. This was actually really good and definitely the best thing we ate here. It was perfectly fried and the filling was super flavorful. It comes with fish sauce and a side of a really spicy and delicious chili garlic hot sauce. For mains, we had the beef pho and tomato rice with beef cubes. The noodles aren't fresh pho noodles but seemed like the dry ones. The broth itself tasted like they added beef bouillon in it. Also, I don't know if this is a French or actual Vietnamese thing, but it didn't come with any bean sprouts, cilantro, or jalapeño. It was also half the size than what I'm used to at home so I left still feeling hungry. The tomato rice wasn't actually tomato rice. It was just white rice sprinkled with some tomato seasoning. Beef was lackluster as well. There are plenty of other Vietnamese restaurants in Paris. I would suggest going to those.
