Went there for lunch with family. Ordered veggie pho(beef broth), tofu chow mein soft noodle and charbroil chicken/shrimp. All was very favorable. We will return. Clean and wait for the food was less than 10 minutes. Very quiet place to enjoy with TV on mute. read more

There was this rude man who was nasty and mean. He threw our menus on the table, didn't even say hello. This old guy was running around like he was on meth, banging his fist on tables telling us to hurry up and order. He then ignored us the entire hour and we had to get up for utensils, condiments and missing orders. Never again. The eating utensils had residue and red sauce left over on it so we swapped it for plastic. I almost walked out. I should have. If they don't clean the eating utensils; then what else is dirty. I'm so grossed out now thinking back on it all. FYI- the portions are sparse. Watery beef stew had five chunks of meat, 3 single beans, 4 huge disproportionate carrots parts that were a bit raw and the stems of what might have been cilantro? Not sure because it was only the stem. Disgusting. No flavor. And my friends food came out 15 minutes later. So I had to wait and it got all cold. read more

I have had Pho from several restaurants, and I would say the chicken Pho here is solely "okay". The flavor of the broth is a little weird. Not sure if it was beef broth or chicken broth they gave with the Chicken Pho... but it was really dark and had an interest minty after taste. The chicken was not tender but really chewy and hard to eat. I've been here couple times for their Pho, which is the best from this place, but this time I want to try something new, I got this Vermicelli plate and it's so good, the meat and shrimp was charbroiled so they have more flavor. This rice place was cooked to perfection in every aspect. The chicken was not heavily marinated, but cooked to taste just right. The fried rice was flavored so right I couldn't stop eating it. Don't do it. Never been the type to review a restaurant but life is too expensive in general to waste your lunch break here. From appetizers to Entrees, everything was just sub par at best. Way to much filler in everything. The broth from pho was definitely made before hand and reheated. The amount of onions used to give volume to everything was enough to make a Grown Man with a full beard cry. Don't do it. Save yourself your hard earned money. Came in on my lunch break so I was already on fairly limited time. It wasn't busy when I got there, maybe 4 tables filled. I was seated right away and given a menu. Minutes after I sat down people started flowing in. Some people were for takeout and some for dine in. I sat at my table for 15 minutes before I left. No one came up to take my order or even offer water. People behind me started complaining to the server that their order hadn't been taken. Pretty sure they were there for at least 7-10 minutes as they walked in after me... maybe it was just bad timing.... I was really excited to try this place as it's close to my work and considering how many people were coming in I'm assuming it tastes pretty good. Maybe I'll give it another shot maybe I won't. Either way, 1 Star for now Update: Gave it another shot. This place gets really busy during the week at lunchtime, so try to come earlier or later to beat the crowd. The food is great! Service was great. They immediately seated our party of 5. Our table was wiggling so they were able to adjust the height right away. The food was served right away. They were very fast. I ordered beef Banh Mi. It was really good. The crunch of the toasted bread and the tender meat of the beef were a great combination. It was delicious. Average in taste according to my taste buds. San Diego pho is way better. Came here after snowboarding while driving to hotel in Rancho Cucamonga. They give nice portions here for the pho but the ratio of meat to noodles is not consistent I got a large rare steak and I got about 8-9 pieces of steak and a ton of noodles. The broth is lacking flavor it really needed the lime and plum sauce and sriracha. The spring rolls were good but the peanut dipping sauce was way to watery for me. The vermicelli and beef was my favorite thing I tasted which the wife got. Service was slow and it was pretty empty in there. read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have higher ratings. My only complaint was that we picked this place because our hotel- Holiday Inn, specified they (the restaurant) would discount 10% of the bill if we mention we were staying at said hotel. They said they no longer honor that discount. Poor communication between businesses. However, this place is conveniently located by all the hotels and the Ontario mall. We could have made it walking in 5 minutes from our hotel but it was too dang hot outside. We waited less than 10 minutes to be seated, we didn't mind the busyness since we showed up right at lunch hour. Everyone was nice and helpful (we had three different people attending us). Food: huge portions and full of flavors. We had pho and a couple vermicelli platers. They tasted super fresh and all the authentic Vietnamese flavors were on point. read more
