No fusion just straight, Vietnamese classics and of course pho. The people are super nice here and it's the type of place I like supporting. I came here in the evening and it wasn't too crowded and the vibe was pretty chill. I ordered my go to, especially when visiting spots I haven't been to before and that was the rare steak and well done brisket. The price here is really reasonable, especially since you get such a large bowl. The comforting bowl of soup definitely hit the spot. I hate writing bad reviews for what appeared to be a decent family owned spot. But then again aren't all the pho spots family owned. The young lady working was nice and helpful. The location itself was clean and good parking. The 2 stars is strictly on the pho. The pho was absolutely unbearable if you truly know pho. It did not taste like pho in the slightest. It was like microwaved meat water. Couldn't even tell if it was chicken or beef broth. The flavor was just off. Idk if it's too much msg or powdered beef mix. But it's very obvious it's not beef bones simmering to make the broth. Hard pass. If 5/10 was acceptable food. This was a 4/10. I wouldn't come back if it was free. I hope that I had a bad batch and it was just me. I wish the spot the best and hope you guys give it a try to disagree with me. But this is an honest review. With Fontana Pho down the street and cloud 9 up the street, you're crazy to consciously choose this and call it "pho" I saw an older review saying this isn't a fusion spot, but they have Chinese fast food on their menu. It was my first time and I was unclear of what to get since I'm not a big soup fan. My friend got the Pho with steak, the appetizer sampler, and I got the chicken pad Thai with fried rice on the side. The appies were traditional frozen Chinese food norms: egg rolls, won tons, and fried shrimp. Nothing too great about them. Our food came out piping hot which is always a plus. My friend said her soup was "to die for." My food was good. Honestly I've had better. I ordered P12 which is the brisket with tendon, and it did not disappoint at all. The broth was very flavorful which I appreciated as some other places I've visited in the past the broth tasted watered down. The servers are very friendly & polite.
