I come here regularly for the lunch special 11-5 and the pho is delicious! The House Special, Seafood, and Chicken are the best! They give you a really big portion too. I get the special that comes with an 8 piece crunch roll and the sushi is also super delicious. The only thing keeping me from giving this place five stars, although I love coming here, is they have messed up some orders for me a couple times and they could work on their customer service. I came here recently with my wife during her lunch break and the parking was busy on the street but they do have tons of little parking lots behind the building. Once inside there is a podium where you wait to be sat and once you are seated there are condiments on the table and utensils. The décor is modern and dimly lit but very clean. They have a bar to left once you walk in and a really good lunch special. My special came with my choice of Pho and California rolls and it was all really good. Now it wasn't the best I ever had but it was pretty good. As for the California rolls were okay also but nothing amazing. As a pho feign, I get really into my pho. Broth, quality of add ins, and noodles are my main concerns. Most of all it's all about the broth. the broth here, just as stated in my rating, was A-OK. Nothing to write home to mom about, but definitely another good pho place in Whittier. They also have a sushi bar that I have yet to try. Surprising sushi and Asian food restaurant. This place has not only Japanese food and sushi but also has Vietnamese dishes. The food that I tried was good and well cooked where needed. The service was good and very nice. This place has a wonderful atmosphere but that day was a little noisy from the televisions showing a soccer game. The food here was delicious. They gave us a lot of food for how much we paid. The food is all well priced. I got the Pho and Roll lunch special, and I choose the the 8 piece California roll. The person I was with got the bulgolgi bento special that came with a salad, miso, rice, the bulgolgi, tempura, gyoza, a sweet mashed potato with carrots, and orange wedges. Then we got the gyoza special that came with a salad and another miso. We were so stuffed that we had to go walk around so we would feel so stuffed. Any place that says they close at a certain time but won't seat you at a time before this given time should change their hours and doesn't deserve to pick and choose their customers. My girlfriend and I showed up at 8:30 and they refused to seat us when their posted closing time was 9:00. Lazy employees or careless owners...whatever the reason may be, a business that turns away money is no business that deserves to stay open in this economy. Too bad these idiots didn't realize we were going to spend a decent amount of money to celebrate a job promotion. We had eaten here in the past and honestly the grand buffet for $11.00 is not far away from the quality of the sushi. We only tried to come here because the only other sushi place in uptown Whittier is Bamboozle and they lost their liquor license. Go figure. read more

I love the deals they had here! I really wanted to get the lunch deal where it's a pho and some sushi for 7-8.99 which is amazing, but I opted for a kid's bowl of pho because I wanted to completely finish my food and it was less than $6 and the size of a regular small in other places! I would like to begin my review with the following...I usually dine with a group of four or more people. I don't really like dining alone but I made an exception tonight. As I walked inside the restaurant there was no one at door to greet you. It was my first time here and so I was a little confused. I did not know whether to find an area and sit or ask to be seated. I asked one of the employees who happened to be new and her first day at work. She offered to get someone to assist me and by this time I had already decided on a small booth in the rear and in a corner. An older female greeted me and I asked her if I could sit at the booth I had already selected and she said, "No." I asked her why (she was bothered by my challenge) and she (replied with an angry tone )said because I was only a party of one. I then replied, "the next time I have a larger party I will visit this location!" The reality is I will absolutely never ever visit this location, I could not believe how rude this employee was. I did not ask her for her name or title but she appeared to be in a supervisory role. Please note: The table was available and there were no customers waiting! The service here is pretty bad! I had to seat my self because I wasn't greeted however on my way to a table I walk past a server on his cell phone with his back to me. Sat down and waited and waited and waited. Mind u it was busy but there were at least 4 guys working. Finally I asked for a menu.he brought it and walked away. then I had to ask him for a drink. When it was brought by someone other than the server I asked him if I could order but he couldn't take my order I guess so he told the server who then came over to take my order. My girlfriend has been wanting to try this place for a good while now so I decided to finally give it a go. The atmosphere is nice. It's almost as if half the room has a Japanese feel and the other is vietnamese. We came for the pho and I can say I am very pleased with the price of the bowl and the size. The large is LARGE! We visited this establishment yesterday for dinner and I was extremely impressed with their pho. We have been looking for a good pho place close to home and now we found a winner.
