My favorite lunch and dinner spot. Great service and food is amazing. The fried tofu sandwich and steak pho are my staples here!

Seat yourself, nobody bothers to come up to your table so you have to order from the back counter no matter how long you are sitting in your booth. How annoying, they have a "veggie pho" with chicken broth. C'mon that totally defeats the purpose of offering a veggie dish. So, the day we went in they ran out of tofu, very annoying! As a vegetarian the only item I could enjoy was a basic house salad. My sister's pho was out like 15 minutes before my salad came out. Eyes rolling! Throw some lettuce on a flippin plate and bring the food all together! When it did finally arrive, it was fresh and tasty. Dirty tables everywhere, menus and crap all over the other tables. No one acknowledged our presence or asked how we were enjoying our food. I can't stand restaurants with owners like this. Don't waste your money here. read more

So this is not my favorite Vietnamese place, but my favorite is a little farther away from my house so I end up here a lot. That said, I am never disappointed when I order from here. The inside looks fairly clean and nice for a small shopping center pho place. I tend to order togo because its right down the street from my house and the inside doesn't scream date night! The service is always fine, nice and relatively fast. So 4 stars. Not 4 stars as a date night or foodie paradise, but 4 stars for a casual and tasty lunch or take out place. The prices are fair, especially because the portions are rather large. Downside...no website! But I posted pics of the menu here on yelp. But the food is pretty dang good and keeps me coming back! I love their rare beef pho. I also really like their beef vermicelli and the beef vermicelli with egg-rolls on top! So bad, yet so good! I have also had the lemongrass chicken. It was very fresh and tasty. All in all its a good place if you don't feel like cooking and need a Vietnamese fix. It has definitely become a staple take out place in my house. read more

The food was very good- 3 star. Had number 31 on the menu. My disappointment was when I saw one of the male workers going to the restroom with gloves on, and came out of the restroom with one glove on his hand, then sat down in the dining area. I do not claim to be a pho connoisseur. This is the 2nd time I've had it, and my taste buds are very Mexican-American. The soup was very good and hot. The service is quick, but impersonal. The soup came out in less than a minute after I ordered it. The server did not follow up at all, for refills or anything else. Lastly, the place is filthy. Food is ok. It can easily blend in with the other 100 Pho(s) around Houston. The service is not at all consistent. It's the only pho restaurant in this area and they're either super fast or super slow, regardless of how busy or empty the place is. When we cleaned our spoons today, a lot were dirty with crust from food and a bug came out of the utensil holder. Definitely disgusting but what can you do? Do not come here if you wish to be served in a timely manner. My table and i (only 3 people total) Weren't approached for at least 10 minutes. They gave me my drink about 5 minutes after they gave me my food. I was practically done! How am i expected to eat with no drink? I had to ask for plates (I got appetizer to share and no mini plates) And they didn't bring us utensils until like 20 minutes in! Their pho is bland and their fried rice is even more bland. I have eaten here twice and got food to go twice. Each time I have been happy with my food. I like to-go better because it's such a large serving and is plenty for 2 meals. A small pho is $6.99 and a large is $7.25. Not sure on the size difference but for only 25 cents more why not just go with the large? Perfect hangover food ! Don't know why but the place looks very suspect to me. We came on our lunch hour and immediately sat down as the place was empty. An older gentleman came to take our order. I'm not sure if it was because of the language barrier or because he just simply was not service oriented, but he didn't seem to enthusiastic to be there taking our order. Anyhow, we got our drinks and our appetizer which was the Vietnamese egg rolls that come with the fish sauce and lettuce. They were ok, the batteer was a bit different than what I've had at other places but taste was ok. We then got our Pho. I had the shrimp pho. I must say that the broth was full of flavor, just what you would need on a cold day or to get over the flu. However, one thing that worked against me was that the shrimp still had the tails and the shrimp itself was flavorless. This, coupled with the dingy feel of the restaurant along with the less than flavorful customer service , is what made me give them 3 stars. read more

Pho is a secret delicacy. Essentially beef noodle soup. Within minutes you're served this gigantic bowl of goodness. For about $10 you are full for many hours. A number of fresh herbs and peppers are served separately to allow everyone to season to taste. The only drawback is that you seat yourself and sometimes if they're busy they might muss you sitting down. If that happens just wave your hands. Also this is a perfect place to work on your chopstick skills. Since pho is mostly thin slices of beef, rice noodles and broth great way to slow your pace also. Enjoy! read more

Service is HORRIBLE and do not ask for anything other than the way they normally serve it. If you ask for no cilantro, they will take your bowl the the back scoop what they can off, and stir the rest in. When you say something the third time... there was truly no point. Came in & it wasn't busy but an employee was sitting having his lunch & I guess couldn't be bothered as someone else came to take our order but the other guy served it. I just recently moved to humble and I'm always very skeptical of trying new places that make pho. I've driven by this place and never stopped. I did decide to order from grub hub and I am glad I did. I went to pick up a quick dinner for my kiddo. I ordered a kids meal that clearly shows his meal coming with a soup. I also ordered two spring rolls. When our order came out for us to take home, there was no soup. We asked where the soup was and they said their owner told them for to go orders there will be no soup or drinks( Information not shared prior to ordering). If you see the picture from the menu it looks like no soft drink for to go menu items not the soup that clearly should have come with the meal. Never going back !!!!! read more

Great brisket pho and thai tea! I look forward to it each time. The service is quick and unlike others, we've never had a problem with rudeness or anything. The place is VERY dated, but its a cheap dive that your taste buds will still thank you for! Pho far, pho good. Yep, I had to do it. I won't apologize. Pho An 3 is pretty far out here in the Atascocita area, but it is worth the drive for pho as good as this. Atascocita doesn't have many pho places, but this is definitely the best of the crop. The soup is rich and savory. I especially like the 1A selection with beef tenderloin slices. They are tender and delicious. The spring rolls are fresh, the eggrolls are crispy. I like the bun with the grilled pork. The pork is tender and not dried out, like some places. We enjoy that there are ample condiments on the table so that you can easily fix up your noodles any way you like. We always end up asking for more limes, but that's just how we roll. This location is in an older strip center, but the interior is newly decorated and nice. They keep the place clean and neat. The service is good and friendly. This is our pho joint now. I've been there a couple of times with my wife. The food is tasty .. The value really isn't good when you consider that the huge soup for avg of $9 only has a couple of scraps of meat. When you then add that their attitude often sucks, I get the feeling of being in the Soup Nazi s kitchen. I ones got their at 8:35p after a lengthy drive, and their response was "no, u can't eat here, we closed already, u come back tomorrow" .. When I pointed to the sign which said closed at 9p it didn't get me anywhere. Another time I got there before 8:30p and was told that the kitchen was closed but I could get take-away order. Tonight I took 2 orders of deep fried Vietnamese egg roles home and the order for $6 which normally has 4 pcs only had 3 pcs .. That's not nice put par for the course. Won't be going back. read more

The food here is great. It's flavorful, hot and served quickly. The kitchen really does a fantastic job; they know what they're doing back there! BUT the waitstaff and the cashier are horrible. They take your order and disappear; one person takes the order and a totally different one brings the food. Both times I've been here I've had to go up to the cashier and ask for drink refills, not only that I had to take my own cup & wait. Why have waitstaff and expect a tip if I have to get my own refill? I love/hate this place because the food is exceptional it's just you can't really take pho to go it doesn't taste the same to me or I would in a heartbeat. I just can't overlook the bad service if you're going to stare me down at the register as I sign my receipt and expect a tip you better work for it. read more

As noted by previous reviews, the service is atrocious. Absolutely no acknowledgement from the staff when I arrived and after standing around at the front for a few minutes I was finally waved towards the general direction of a table. I arrived at approximately 2pm on a Tuesday and roughly 10 of the 20 or so tables still had dirty dishes from previous diners. (not a single table had been cleared by the time I left 30 minutes later) My typical protocol for a new Vietnamese restaurant is to try out the thai iced tea, the fresh spring rolls and the pho. It being so late in the afternoon I decided against the thai iced tea (waaay too much caffeine!) and just ordered the fresh spring rolls and their #3 pho with lean steak. The spring rolls came out first. The pork much more closely resembled some sort of thin bologna product than sliced pork. The shrimp was alright but there were almost zero herbs inside so the flavor was incredibly bland. And then there was the peanut sauce. Ick. First, it came out warm (not quite hot, but not room temperature either). Second, the flavor was way off. Had an odd vinegar note to it and other than the chopped peanuts on top, tasted nothing like peanuts. The pho was the highlight of the experience. Came with all the usual accoutrements and the small bowl was plenty big. The broth was decent, but didn't come close to some of the better pho's I've had. In the end, I finally had to go up to the front to pay as the staff all seemed glued to some weird show on the TV. Not planning to return. read more
