    Sandwich boxes
    Angela Q.

I preordered lunch boxes through the catering link using the app. We were having a working lunch and wanted boxes with a variety of sandwiches and salads b the catering was big hit. Ordered frontera chicken, turkey bravo, smokehouse bbq, tuna and a couple of salad options like chicken Caesar and green goddess. Such rave reviews about how fresh the bread was. The hot sandwiches were the favorites. Everyone got a bag of chips and cookie. I also ordered hibiscus tea and blueberry pomegranate lemonade. The delivery driver was very professional and set everything up. He called in advance to say he would be a little late, which was fine. My group of 22 enjoyed this lunch.

How this salad is supposed to look.

I get the p5 on the menu and it's pretty decent cuts of meat. Lots of it that's for sure they aren't shy on protein. Services is always quick and happy to help no matter how busy. Store is clean and well maintained with lots of seating and accommodations for kids. Stellar place for family or dining alone. I normally add photos but didn't bother i was so excited for the meal.

One of Houston's most successful pho establishments has to be Pho Dien, as they've quietly been…read morekilling it Chinatown, Katy, and Humble. For the latter, it's gotten to a point where no other Vietnamese spot has come close in terms of pho. For pho seekers who happen to be in Humble, Pho Dien 1960 is an absolute must. The place is small, but they've stacked their small dining room into a very group friendly setup consisting of small booths and tables. The stale air quality is reminiscent of old school spots around town and the young Viet guys running the joint keep the place friendly and efficient. In terms of the pho, there are no complaints. The broth skews somewhat sweet, but it's aromatic enough for me to normally slurp it completely dry. Their best asset has been the meat, which is excellent. Their combination dac biet is an excellent variety that includes meatball, tripe, flank, and some of the best rare steak and tendon I've had. The latter is buttery and smooth enough to where I can't get enough. I tend to order it in their XL (xe lua) size, which is an off-menu item that goes for nearly $20 ($19.45) and is one of the largest bowls I've seen. I always look forward to getting it. While their banh mi and bun dishes are not nearly the same caliber, they still pass the test as a quality offering. The cha gio is a bit paltry, without any greens and a small bowl of semi-spicy nuoc mam (fish sauce). Their Vietnamese coffee is chocolate-y, and perfect for to-go. Their weekday lunch combo special is a good deal, in which one can come in for a small or medium sized pho and get an order of two cha gio or goi cuon with an iced tea. Parking is really easy on the weekends, especially since most of the businesses in the strip mall are closed. It may feel a tad more expensive ($12-18 per most entrees) but this is the price one pays in suburbia without having to head to any of the enclaves.

They are located in the Stesti Food Hall and Beer Garden! The parking lot is small but free. There was plenty of parking when we arrived but the spaces are petite, ideal for compact cars and not larger vehicles such as trucks or SUVs. It's a bit of a tight squeeze either way. If you're unable to find lot parking, they have paid parking and free street parking along the neighboring street from what I observed. All of the staff throughout the hall will greet you as you walk past each of the perspective restaurants and bars on the inside. You will eventually make your way to Hup Noodle Bar! Such an earthy, vintage design with the decor. Plenty of areas to sit both inside and outside! Chef Cuong will greet you right away. His bright bubbly face with a huge smile will have you wanting to ask him all sorts of questions about his restaurant. He originally started with crepes and various French inspired desserts but had a passion for Vietnamese dishes!! His pride and joy are his chicken curry, number 1 and pho broth at number 2. Those two tend to sell out each day during the lunch rush! I got lucky because today was a bit slow as it was Valentine's Day! We ordered both along with their shrimp egg rolls! Pho with beef: Delicious and unbelievably comforting on a cold day like today! The basil leaves made it very aromatic! I could taste the star anise, cinnamon and ginger in this broth! It was slow cooked so as soon as the waitress sat it down, you got a huge whiff of all of the spices!! You took your first sip and it was so warm and tasty that, before you knew it, you were downing the entire bowl! Portion size is enough for 2. Curry with chicken: fragrant curry soup with bone in chicken! Lots and lots of coconut milk, ginger, red curry paste, a little lime, basil, cilantro, chile oil made for a very flavorful curry!! Loved the addition of the carrots and potatoes to add a bit of complexity in texture as you're taking a bite and sipping the soup!! Pro tip: Mixing the lime juice into the cup of salt and pepper levels up your dipping game when you go to dip the chicken in it! Use the bread to soak up the leftover soup if your goal is to leave no crumbs or leftovers!

Another awesome Vietnamese cuisine experience from Chef Cường!…read more I've been mean to write this review since I went to the soft opening and have been back several times. Húp Noodle Bar is the second restaurant in Stesti Food Hall opened by Chef Cường, right next to his first restaurant Xèo Yum. This is a relaxed, open concept dining experience. You can pull up a stool at the bar or you can take a seat at one of the many tables in the food hall for more a more intimate setting. The food is amazing! The first time, I tried the King Kong Bowl and let me tell you this bowl would satisfy any monster appetite out there from King Kong to Godzilla! The broth tastes excellent. The meat is tender, flavorful and filling. Where else can you find high quality ribeye, prime brisket, meatball and beef short rib in one bowl. You can add filet mignon as well. The noodles are top notch and are some of the best I've had. If you've been to Xèo Yum, you can expect the same high quality food , excellent presentation and amazing service. If you've never been here before, trust me, you will not be disappointed!

The waitress was super nice, however it seemed like she just started and only had minimal knowledge about the menu items. The wonton soup appetizer was a very generous size and the wontons were tasty and the soup was very flavorful and light. The braised beef noodle soup was good but nothing special. The noodles were not uniform which makes me think they might have been hand pulled noodles. The pork xiao long bao was okay only because the broth had little flavor with minimal dimensions. The pan fried pork and scallion dumplings were crispy and quite flavorful. My diagnosis: good authentic Chinese option in the woodlands.

I ordered the Signature Braised beef Noodles soup, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The broth tasted very basic and lacked the rich, deep flavor I was hoping for. The beef itself was decent, some tender pieces and a few tough pieces. The soup was supposed to be the star of the dish, and it just didn't have the savory, slow-cooked taste I was looking for. Personally, I wouldn't order that soup again. That said, the portion was generous. Looking at other customer reviews, some reviewers specifically recommend the noodle dishes over the soups, while others mention that flavors can be hit or miss depending on what you order. Overall, my experience wasn't memorable.
