We were here for yesterday because they had a promotion of 50% off on pad Thai and curry dishes. Everything went ok. Food wasn't that great but expected since we are in Humble area. We had a party of 7 and did order on the promotion items as described by the restaurant. But after paying I was recalculated the amount of the bill and found out they overcharged us. We had 5 pad Thai and none of them was discounted. They only discounted the curry dishes When asked the server Emili used the excuse that she forgot to do that in the system. Really???? I understand you may forgot to take off one item on the bill but 5??? That's more like intentional than a purely mistake. I did tell the manager about the issue and they did give me the discount as in their promotion but I felt very bad to be scammed like that. The manager did apologize but I don't see any sincerity on his part neither. I strongly suggest the management should review their policies and definitely should not scam your customers. Honesty should always be the best policy for your business. read more

Very disappointed in my order. I always order for lunch and it's delicious. Today, it seemed like there was not flavor added to my meal. I also ordered 2 of the same meal at different spice levels and they did not label like they have before. read more

The Massaman curry was outstanding. Big pieces of potato, chicken. I probably won't be in the area again, but I urge and encourage you to try them out. You won't be disappointed. read more

Continue going to Nara Thai every few weeks. Often bring family and friends because consistently great food and service!

I used to LOVE their food, I'd come all the time for their orange chicken and crab angels. I've been going since they opened years ago. As of now, I know the food has changed a bit and I know the portion sizes changed. Used to give you more food, then they downsized in portions, but now I don't know since I haven't gone back. The reason I haven't gone back is because I got the worst food poisoning in my life from there. I ordered the red curry with the crab angels that time and I don't know which of those two got me sick. Haven't gone back since and that was over a year ago. Hopefully their food prep has changed, either way, I'm too scared to go back! Which sucks because I really did like their food at one point. read more

Always consistent good food and service. The restaurant is clean, and the waiters are friendly. They have a separate gluten free menu when dining in, which is incredible for anyone who has gluten insensitivities or celiac. The gf / vegan options are listen online as well, but not on online 3rd party ordering platforms. read more

This was my first time ordering from here i will definitely be ordering again the food was awesome the service was quick and the ordering online welcome discount was well appreciated. read more

Came midday the place was empty, but their ToGo orders are nonstop that's how you know the food is good. Sat at the bar for lunch. Since I was the only one dining in, I got my food fast & it was steamy good!!! I typically try the same thing at every Thai restaurant (Pad Kee Mao or Pad See Ew) & the flavors were perfection. Good portion of food. They open till 930 so I could definitely see myself returning for dinner or getting takeout. Atmosphere is spacious, cute family dining style. Many sculptures & dim lights. Really cute spot. read more

Food is good but portions are small for what you pay. I now know why they ask if you want extra beef in the entrees.

The food is absolutely amazing. So delicious and arrives quickly and still hot! Everything I've tried has been wonderful,

Me and the fam have been coming here forever (at least 10yrs).The pad Thai, cashew chicken, papaya salad, every curry, etc, all of it is delicious. It's a classic pick for our fam. Service has changed throughout the years, but always good. read more

I was near the area and decided to try this place out for lunch. The staff was attentive and friendly and they had a good variety of options on their menu, including plenty of vegetarian options. I got the drunken noodles with tofu at a level 2 spice and thought it was pretty good, with a mild spice. I do wish they offered a lunch special but they are extremely reasonably priced. read more

Nara Thai is my favorite. amazing food. consistent and flavorful. You will thank me. Go see them today :-)

we think the food is good. Need to change beer selection. Good location. Been to this location and Baytown. Both are good.

Nara Thai is a great local Lake Houston Thai spot. My favorite dish is their Thai Cashew Nut Tofu dish. Always fresh veggies & great tasting ingredients & food. You can customize majority of their meals with your choice of protein & spice level. They also have great Thai tea. Would definitely recommend. Lots of vegetarian options. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for Thai or curry. They have a large menu & lots of options to chose from, especially, if you're feeling like a culinary adventure! read more

Nara Thai - Thai Cashew Nut with white rice - Thai Near Me - Humble, Texas

Great overall experience! The food, the service and ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. I had the Pad See Eue with Spice Level Medium with a side of white rice. It was delicious at the restaurant and my leftovers were just as delicious at home. My wife had one of the soups and had excellent flavor. My wife and I were seated quickly, came during lunch hours, and our orders were taken right away. Didn't wait long for our food to come out and everything came out just as we ordered. Everyone that served us can with a smile. Great location to have s as casual date night or a group dinner with friends. Plenty of parking and in a good area. read more

First time in here was night before last around 7, I came in alone, and and was seated right away as I watched a steady stream of people coming in and pick up to go orders from the bar, so I knew I was on to something. I had the chicken curry puffs for my appetizer- A MUST!! This was a puff pastry with a chicken / veggie filling with a side of spicy relish( OMG) good. I also had this spicy basil rice dish (ordered beef as my protein of choice, but you have options of chicken, and seafood combo as well) , and it included an over medium fried egg on top . If you like medium to hot spicy food , this delicious combo is one to consider! This place was dimly lit and would be great for a simple date night or for take out! When I pass through Humble, I will be back read more

Just as with my fave location (Nara Express - Midtown), since the Fresh Rolls are so good here, we're going to start by getting fresh and getting you Rick Rolled: We're no strangers to Thai food You know the curries and so do I Thai Basil Fried Rice's what I'm thinking of I wouldn't get this from any other Thai I just wanna show you what I'm eating Gotta make you understand Nara gonna give you up Nara gonna let you down Nara gonna run around They'll feed you Nara gonna make you cry Nara gonna say goodbye And if you're delicious Thai I'll eat you What to get: Thai Basil Fried Rice w/Shrimp, Green Curry w/Chicken or tofu, Fresh Rolls (use the Chili oil - and the homemade hot sauce on them) Also: Tom Yum Soup, Massaman Curry. One of several Nara-owned Thai locations, this one is both less cheap and less perfect than the one in Midtown, to the extent that it's not quite a 5 star experience. Houston has, bizarrely, the best Thai food I've ever had. Asia Market is back and is rocking my world weekly (Main St north of downtown), but there's another one that people often overlook... an unassuming cult favourite tucked away in an unfashionable part of fashionable Midtown, next to a gas station, across from the Greyhound: I give you, Nara. There are 3 other Naras as well, one in Cypress/Spring (just as good, more fancy), one in Baytown (not tried it yet), and this one in Humble (my least fave so far, but still good). There's nothing Humble about Humble, but it does have a couple of good restaurants mixed in with all the mediocrity, and one of those good restaurants is Nara. The location on 1860 and the Express location next to downtown are far superior in my opinion, as this menu seems more bland and Americanized, and didn't quite get it done for me. But having said all that, it is pretty delicious and definitively superior to a lot of the other stuff in this neighbourhood, or crap like Thai Gourmet, and for that reason I highly recommend you stop by and give it a try when you're in town, because there really aren't that many amazing meals in Humble, and this one is definitely up there, sort of like Biden's electoral college tally which is getting up there so hopefully bye bye Trump you m*****f***** which might mean Nara Express in Midtown has less homeless issues maybe!? Now to get Fresh Rolled, I mean Rick Rolled, again: We've known Nara for, oh so long Your tummy's been grumbling but, you're too shy to say it Inside we both know what's been going on We got the bill and we're, gonna pay it... And if you ask me what I'm eating Then I'll make you understand Nara gonna give you up Nara gonna let you down Nara gonna run around They'll feed you Nara gonna make you cry Nara gonna say goodbye And if you're delicious Thai I'll eat you read more

It used to be one of my favorite places in Humble-Atascocita-Kingwood area. I don't know what happened. Did they open too many places or cannot or don't want to afford good chefs? I ordered two appetizers for lunch. Shumai: tough meatballs inside wide opened pieces of dough. Aren't shumai supposed to be steamed, dough AND filling together? Result: dough precooked, filling tough, no taste, no flavor and completely dry. Chicken curry puffs: look good on the picture, filling is 99% mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. Again, no taste, no flavor and completely dry. Don't say 'curry' if there is no curry sauce. BTW, no smell or flavor of curry spice at all. All that said, the prices are through the roof. I was thinking of dessert. Roti (Indian flatbread fried in a tandoori) with condensed milk: $9.95. So, no dessert for me. read more

Nara Thai - Individual Sized Green Curry - Thai Near Me - Humble, Texas

Love this restaurant, we come every time we visit Atascosita. Our waitress who takes care of us every time is incredibly kind and accomodating - she let us try the yellow curry and it was very savoury (we are loyal to the red curry). Always excellent service. Building has some issues with AC occasionally but it seems the owners are aware and taking steps to repair it. read more

Would go again, the food tasted amazing and the service was great. the sweat tea was really good too.

Love this place! Been to two locations and the food is great. So nice to have vegetarian substitutions like tofu or "mock duck" (seitan). Wish they could keep the same staff, there's a lot of turnover. But if you know the menu well it's great food. read more

Nara Thai serves tasty, spicy Thai food in little old Humble. The spice is adjustable from mild to make you cry. The noodles seem homemade- soft with a bite. Everything is flavorful, made to order and served promptly. The dining area is colorful, clean and inviting. The only negative was the lack of more items under $12 on the lunch menu. It's a small negative because the quantities are generous and done expertly. Thai food is not for everybody but if you're adventurous or just tired of fried catfish and shrimp give the fine folks a try. Khxbkhu read more

I love this place.... veggie delight is always a great dish for me. Great staff, always greeted with a smile and great customer service.

The best Thai in town! I enjoyed my favorite shrimp volcano and I love seeing the expanded dining room.

Amazing food, would recommend, family safe. Our family comes here all the time and each and every time the service is amazing, waiters are always polite and respectful. The environment makes you feel like you just walked into a fancy authentic Thai restaurant. read more

I'm sorry I really wanted to like the food but it did not pass my desires or my family. I had the ginger beef and could not taste any ginger. It was rice with a piece of steak cut in slices and on top with a little bit of cabbage and carrots tossed on the side. Both carrots and cabbage looked old. Hubby and the pad Thai, he did not complain until the next day when the diarrhea hit him. Granddaughter has noodle soup with squid and SHE is a big soup eater but this one she complained about and did not eat it. The Thai dumplings that have cream cheese? And crab tasted like rubber with no flavor. Peanut sauce sweet and congealed. we also ordered a chicken teriyaki child plate and whatever it was was gross. I only recognized the white rice. Sorry won't try this food again. Just thinking about it gets my tummy flipping. read more

Stopped by here when visiting Sam Houston a few days ago as it was recommended to us by a family member. We ordered Thai tea to start off with, and it's also bogo on Tuesdays! Luckily we came on a Tuesday haha. The Thai tea was massive, I had to ask for another cup to take home the rest. For our lunch, we ordered crab angel (crispy crab wontons), Tom yum seafood soup, and spicy catfish. The crab angels were decent, one of them had almost no filling inside... I feel like this appetizer would've been better with imitation crabmeat or just more crab meat in general. The Tom yum soup was probably one of my favorite dishes here. You can't really mess up when it comes to this soup. The soup had a variety of mushrooms, tomatoes, squid, mussel, and shrimp. Lastly, the spicy catfish! We really enjoyed the spicy catfish, I just think it would've been better if the catfish was crispier. The sauce for this dish was yummy, and the green beans complemented it well. read more
