My cousin and I are not going back to this restaurant. We had a rude female server. When my cousin questioned a meat ingredient in the soup, she was very defensive. While we were eating, she kept giving my cousin dirty looks. She was talking to two males in the counter and all of them were glancing at my cousin. The female server never came back to our table to check on how we were doing. The owner of this establishment need to teach his/her employees better ways of treating their customers. This place is awful! I was happy to see that, unlike many restaurants, this place only charges $1.25 for tea; however, you should only expect to get one glass! After getting our pho we were virtually forgotten. I got the attention of the waiter/busser, as he was doing both jobs but really only concentrating on bussing, and asked for tea, the check, and some to-go containers. He literally raised his hand up while I was in mid-sentence and passed me off. Needless to say we paid and left without getting tea refills or to-go containers. Mediocre and not worth the calories. I would not return even if the meal was complimentary. The pho and rice plates were easily disappointing--so much so that I looked to see if this was actually a Vietnamese restaurant. The chicken in the rice plate was over cooked and even the rice seemed as it had been sitting too long. As long as I've lived in the area I have never tried this place because I have my personal favorite spot for pho. I decided to give them a try today because my husband is sick as a dog and needed some hot soup asap. The young guy charging me at the counter took my debit card, swiped it then threw it back on the counter/at me when he was done charging me then immediately walked out the front door after that. I kind of brushed that off being that I was in a good mood and well he immediately left the restaurant after that.....guess he was in a bad mood. So I sit while my order is prepared. I get it in about 10 minutes. I arrive home a few minutes later, tell my sick husband come eat some hot pho, open up the container.....to my surprise......the broth is colder than ice!!! I was pissed to say the least! If I had wanted cold soup I would have bought a can of soup for way cheaper! I have ordered to go pho from my favorite spot many times and have NEVER gotten cold broth. I don't understand why these people think it's okay to serve cold broth just because it's to go. I called the place to complain and that was just another waste of 5 minutes. We came here and sat down for 30 mins and no one ever comes by to drop the menu or takes our order. There was a line formed at the register waiting to pay and leave. I saw a man who I assumed is the owner sitting at the table eating his lunch. After a while he got up and went to the register to check out the customers who have been waiting to pay. Then he sat back down and continued eating. At this point I politely asked him if he can take our order. Little to my surprise he has the nerve to tell me wait until he finish eating and he will take our order. There is no word to describe how rude the way he responded to me and how pissed I am right now. I love this place! Now that they know my face, I pretty much don't even have to order! This is one of the best Pho restaurants I've been to. They have lasted through the years and they are always busy. Sometimes they are a little slow on cleaning tables but very friendly. I've never had anything bad. They leave you alone to eat.... They don't keep stopping by the table asking how the food is and if you need anything. I've hear people ask all the time for Soy Sauce, Duck Sauce or Sweet and Sour.... One friend and I went to this place yesterday when we were in at the area. It has been a long time since last time we came here (more than eight months ago) . Pho beef soup was delicious and hot (so perfect for cold weather), beef meat was tender enough. My friend ordered vermicelli with chicken and eggroll and he enjoyed it a lot, especially eggroll. It seems they are changing the menu. There are more items on the menu than before, several perfect choices for kid meals, better than before at reasonable prices. Unfortunately those special kids meals are only served at the restaurant, not for To-go. Definitely, will bring kids to this restaurant next times. It is worth our money to eat here. Time was wasted. First of all, there was no greeting or accommodation when we entered the restaurant. People who had been coming in after us to receive their To Go orders had been accommodated as soon as they got there. We've gotten our own menus and waited for 15 minutes expecting to be asked for drinks. Drinks weren't asked as soon as one of the waitresses came. She just left us with no explanation. So...your sign says that you close at 9PM...then you should close at 9PM. It's Thursday...8:20 PM and we come in and sit down because no one came to seat us. After sitting down...no one comes over to take a drink or appetizer order. That's when we kinda figured we were not going to get served. And after asking if yall are open and if we can order eggrolls..you say that yall only have soup and that's it. Bad..very bad. Worst service I've ever had. Food was ok but did not make up for the service or should I say the lack there of. We were never greeted and it took almost 10 minutes to get someone to come over so we could order. When she did come, she acted as if we were inconveniencing her by asking her to do her job. I used to come here a lot but moved away for a few years was really excited to go back but the service was so bad I would never go back. The owner actually waited on us we ordered egg rolls and they used to come with a heaping portion of carrot straws,bean sprouts and cilantro the amount they use now is probably about a fifth that they used to so I asked for extra cilantro as I love it and he brought back a single stem of cilantro with about 3 leaves. I decided OK no biggie then we decided to order an entrée to split and I asked if he could bring a nice sized helping of cilantro with it and he huffed and said he could but would have to charge me for it. Again all these dishes used to have a decent amount that came with it but I guess the owner has pinched his purse in lieu of a happy customer I cancelled the order paid for the rolls and will look for a new pho place. I like hole in the wall food places, given their food and service is good. I was excited when we sat down, ordered, and they brought a plate with fresh bean sprouts, fragrant basil, and sliced jalapeños. Our table was a bit grimy and the waiter was a little curt, first hint. The food arrived quickly but wasn't good. My Mom had ordered a grilled shrimp dish on a bed of rice with a side of vegetables. The shrimp was so tough you couldn't pinch through it. It was rubbery and flavorless. My beef pho tastes of grease and a lot of salt. I politely told him about our food and apologized for the inconvenience. I asked for the cheque and our waiter shouted something to the guy behind the register, then disappeared into the kitchen. He came back to the table, we asked for the ticket again. He goes and sits down by the table near the register along with the other two employees that have come to spectate. We paid 9.00 for two soft drinks and an apple juice for my son........... Rude service and bad food. read more

And be sure to arrive approximately 19 hours in advance of their posted closing time if you want food: I suffered a series of repeated occasions in which arriving at least 40 minutes ahead of closing time was greeted with "we're closed" and upon my questioning this notion received a "you can shove it" attitude from the staff.
