I've been eating pho my whole life, these people are cheap and not only charge you an outrages price for the styrofoam to go plates but they also give the same portions for a small pho and a large pho. As I was waiting for my order 5 people where complaining and upset. Worst pho place in Colorado, save your money and go someplace else read more

Had lunch here for the first time in a year or so. I ordered a noodle bowl. Good flavors, except the noodles were soggy. I am hoping this was just a one time thing, because in the past the noodle bowls were really good read more

This place has the opportunity to own the Pho market in that area. They need to NOT CUT COSTS ON INGREDIENTS. STOP WATERING DOWN THE BEEF pho broth. Meat!!! Add more meat to the dishes and soup!!!Clean the place and bus the tables sooner. Who wants to walk in and look at dirty tables? Not me. I saw plenty of Uber orders going out. Tons of take out as well as a few dine ins. My point is they can own this market if they step it up. Will try one more time. read more

Used to be my favorite pho in Brighton, but sadly after many stops I just cant recommend this place anymore. The spring rolls are good. But the main problem is the pho. When buying a large, I expect the broth to at least come close to the top. Lately it's been half full. Other pho places I have a hard time finishing a large. But here, in left hungry. The wait staff has been cut down considerably and it really shows with the length of time it takes to order. they also got rid of the soda machine, replaced with overpriced soda cans. I doubt I'll ever be back unless I'm really craving pho and don't want to drive somewhere better read more

Ate here for the first time a few weeks ago & was pleasantly surprised. The broth was delicious. The noodles & the fixins' were fresh & tasty. The staff was friendly & the price was decent. It's not really a complaint, but I had the beef in my broth & after ordering, not sure it was necessary. The broth alone was sufficient. If I ever get the flu or am not feeling well, this broth will be my go to meal! read more

I don't think I've ever really been disappointed in Pho. But this place needs some serious changes. I feel like the restaurant isn't doing well so they are cutting corners and such. But the quality of the food and service just wasn't good. I ordered the steak and brisket pho that I order from every other pho place. The broth was very bland. My friend ordered her pho with shrimp and extra noodles added. Her bowl came with 2 shrimp. 2! And that cost $2 extra. The noodles were also $2 extra but there weren't extra noodles from what we could see. We ordered spring rolls that were good. Definitely not as big as most I've seen but still good. I also ordered a taro boba smoothie and she brought out an avocado boba smoothie. I tried it and just couldn't drink it but that's just my preference. However, the boba pearls were hard and either way undercooked or way over cooked. I have no idea which one because I've never had boba pearls that hard. The sriracha was watered down. We tried to find a bottle that wasn't watered down to no avail. Are you serious? It was the consistency of cholula. Also, we asked for Togo containers for our pho. We were CHARGED for the Togo containers. That is ridiculous. I hope the owners realize soon that this is NOT the way to save their business. My friend took me here for lunch today because she loves this restaurant. But she probably will never be back and I won't be either. Please read these reviews and make some changes so that you can thrive the way you used to. read more

My husband and I decided to try this out tonight, we ordered 3 appetizers to try them out, for dinner he got the pho and I got the pad Thai. We were very pleased with the food and the serving sizes on the entrees were bigger then we expected. When we first arrived service was very slow, we were seated quickly but even though no one else was there (1 table was leaving) it took a long time for anyone to get our drink order. When someone did come over we ordered drinks, apps, and dinner fearing even longer wait. We did not get our drinks until after the apps arrived. The food however came out quickly and it was amazing which is why I'm sticking to my 5 star review. Excellent food should always win over service, after all its the food that we come for. read more

I wish that I liked the food because the waitress & people are so friendly here. But man, the food is just god awful. The veggies were wilted and the broth just wasn't good. 2 bites and I lost my appetite. Like I said, the lady there was so sweet. But food, not so good. read more

This was disappointing. I was really craving pho when I went and had never been here. Not good. Jalapeños not fresh, steak way dry and over cooked, and I think they overcharged me because I got a small steak pho bowl and a soda for 14.95. Not sure how I had to pay so much! read more

Went to get lunch there today, waited super long for an order that wasn't right. Then proceeded to wait another 20 or so minutes for the correct order, which was the seafood pho, my crab was still frozen in the middle when I got it. Ordered a beer and was never served. Went with someone and we both did not like the soup. Very slow service for not very good food at all. Don't waste your time. Heard from others that the other pho places in town were much better. read more

This was hands down one of the worst experiments I've had. A takeout order took over an hour. The lady kept staring and stopping my order to get orders after me out because they were smaller. The two Chinese dishes were got were mushy and tasted nowhere close to a Chinese dish. It was super expensive and I was told the prices increased but weren't yet reflected in the menu. I paid $90 for 4 meals. Overpriced and not worth the wait or the money. I called to explain my disappointment in the service, the food and the price and the lady told me she had customers and hung up on me. read more

This food was nottttt goodddddddd. It was the fly Olympics in there, going for the gold and bronze medal. We really love the high end china platers and silverware the we were served on! The fired rice was mushy and tasted like fish, and last not but least don't forget about the undercooked and overcooked sesame chicken. Also the sweet tea tasted like sweet and low and raspberry diet tea mixed with it. read more

LOVE that these guys offer delivery through UberEats! ordering through Eat24 or GrubHub is too expensive because the minimum order price is too high and force customers to order more than just the chicken Pho for dinner. I've occasionally done it anyway, but that was before I discovered UberEats. The chicken Pho is always really good with very tender chicken, plenty of basil, tons of noodles, and a bit more hoisin sauce than Sriracha, but still most excellent. (I keep extra sriracha at home.) I think I just decided what I want for dinner tonight. read more

Under impressed with Pho 81. We went for lunch on a Sunday. I tried the sesame chicken special, which was advertised on the windows. The special comes with the main dish, rice, Broccoli, crab or roll and a canned drink. My meal was subpar and the Diet Pepsi has a use by date of five months prior. I don't know that sodas go bad, but being a restaurant they shouldn't be serving them. It made me wonder about the use by dates on all of their food. read more

This is a picture of the Mongolian Beef from the lunch special. The "beef" texture was confusing and the meal smelled exactly like cow manure. I had one bite and gave up because I couldn't help but wonder, how does someone replicate the smell of cow manure to such perfection? And why does this "meat" have such a mushy texture? I'll leave it to you to answer these questions... The spring roll that came with the meal, I swear was filled with tapioca pudding, how can vegetables be that overcooked wrapped up in so many layers? The hot and sour soup was interested and you will absolutely love it if all of your taste buds are dead!! The egg drop soup was ok. Don't go here. The couple sitting in the booth behind us had he good sense to send their food back. read more

Worst Pho in Brighton!! One time I went with my friends to check it out during lunch time. As soon as we entered some older woman was talking on the phone behind the register and sat us down with menus (still on her cell phone). We sat there waiting for her for about 15 minutes to come take our orders and we decided it was too long of a wait and left. Mind you, we were the only customers at the time. This past Labor Day weekend my boyfriend and I decided to give it another chance. I ordered the pho rare steak and the broth tasted like salty water, steak was rough, and the noodles were stiff. Also, our meal was $40 for a small pho, 3 tiny egg rolls, and a Pad Thai. I will never eat here again!! read more

OMG! Absolutely the worst Pho and Chinese food I've ever had. Unfortunately the bad experience started in just placing the to go order. The order was placed two hours before we intended to pick it up, when we arrived at Pho81 to get the food, we had to wait 45 minutes for our order to be recooked because it was not even warm and even missing items. We had ordered nine things from they're menu online, different types of Pho, appetizers and even a dish from the Chinese food menu they offer. Once our order was now remade from the mistakes and missing food, we did not even get an I'm sorry for any inconvenience for the issues we had from Pho81's poor service. The food ended up being horrible to make the experience even worse. It was actually inedible! Between the Pho and other entrees we had to throw out our meals after only taking a few bites. The worst was the food was either tasteless or badly over salted. I've never had a bite of white rice taste like a teaspoon of salt, but Pho81 managed to make it happen. That's just one example. Please eat here at your risk! I certainly will not waste money ever again at Pho81. Let alone the $100 plus I just wasted. This was my first experience at Pho81, and will be me last. Everyone I know will hear about how gross the food from Pho81 is and what an incredibly poor experience we had. Karen B. read more

This restaurant was in close proximity to another Vietnamese restaurant we like that was temporarily closed, so I decided to give it a try. I placed an order for Chicken and Shrimp Pho, and an order of steamed dumplings. It takes about 15 minutes to get from my house to the restaurant, so I thought the food would be close to ready when I arrived. I ended up waiting another 25 minutes for the food, and neither of the people working made any apology for the slow service. I would understand this if the restaurant were busy, but there was only one group of 3-4 people at one table being served at the time. The food was pretty good, but as others have stated, the portions are fairly small. There was very little chicken in my order. Owner was also going back and forth into the kitchen without a mask - not good. Will not be going back. read more

We are so happy to have a new pho in Brighton!!! It is a very nice restaurant with arguably some of the best pho in the state. ( we've tried over 60 different pho places). The meat is fresh and tender which is hard to find. The staff is bubbly and friendly. The speed and quality of food is getting much better now they have been open a few months. Free WiFi and t.v. We love you pho 81!!! Dont ever change!!!! read more

A very unfortunate first experience to say the least...As my wife was greeted with a head nod she asked if we could sit at a specific table at which time the waitress did not respond to her request. It was only when I engaged the waitress that she answered our question. Once we sat down we attempted to order one of the boba drinks however the waitress continued to tell us that "they didn't have that flavor". After asking for 4 different flavors and being told that they didn't have it, we finally found two flavors they had in stock. When we began ordering our main meal, we were again told that they were out of a specific item. After attempting to order two different dishes I finally settled on Pho, which I did not even want to eat that evening but it seemed to be the only item they actually had. I thought this place just opened! How are they out of everything! After the waitress delivered our food she disappeared for the rest of the evening until I had to get out of my seat to go track her down so I could get some more water. The food is itself is average, nothing special. This was a very frustrating experience and not worth the time or money. I will not be returning to Pho 81 in the future. read more

Egg Rolls: Delicious, but definitely not worth $6 Pho: Almost flavorless. They must not use beef stock, and I would suggest they update their stock recipe because it's not very appealing. Overall, if I was a local resident, I would find a new spot. read more

Came here Sunday bc pho tj was closed. Broth was very bland. You can see the oil floating on top. Broth didnt even seem warm. The meats were lacking for a combination. Didn't even have any tendon/tripe. The spring rolls were room temp making the noodles/lettuce feel warm and not fresh. The pork and shrimp inside the rolls lack taste/seasoning. The large bowl in my opinion felt like a median. One thing that made me gave a one star and not two is bc when we were about to leave, we asked for a to go cup for our Thai tea. The waitress brought it over but instead of having myself pour it from the glass to the form cup, she did it. First taking the straw out of the glass with her hands and putting it in the form cup, poured in the tea then put the lid over not before pushing the straw through the hole, holding the straw from the bottom. Very unsanitary! read more

Not a bad spot for a quick pho special. The portions are a little small for the amount I am used to eating in terms of a pretty large meal but overall not a bad taste. The boba tea is quite the tasty treat as well. Increase the portion size on the large and 4/5 stars! read more

Been twice. Both times they forgot cilantro on the pho. The second time for pick up, they forgot lime and they jammed the pho broth containers in so tightly that 2 of the three broke and leaked all over my car. Pho tasted OK but not complete - but bad service. Better pho places and won't return for service alone. read more

Great spring rolls. Service was terrific. Prices were good. Very clean. Have been there a few times always treated great.

I was highly disappointed with this place. I ordered the sesame chicken plate. It took about 20 minutes to get the food and when we did get it the chicken tasted either like rubber or undercooked. I'd even say like plastic. It almost tasted like they bought a make your own sesame chicken at home microwaveable meal from Safeway. Besides the food the building looked dirty and unclean. Upon entering there is warning signs about health warnings, a clear bad first sign. Highly, and I mean HIGHLY don't recommend this place at all. read more

Great Pho but Awful service. We always wait for someone to even acknowledge us, wait forever for the food, and they'll walk past you even when you try to flag them down. It's unfortunate because their pho is decent, but can't come here anymore. Shouldn't have to beg you to let us pay you for food. Come here if you have a couple hours to spare and feel like being mistreated. read more

I have been here twice before this incident and been pleased with the food, however they are always really slow. This experience sent me over the edge, however. It started with a hair in my bowl. The waiter didn't apologize as I would have expected, he just brought a new one like it wasn't a big deal. After waiting 45 minutes for our food (and watching them bring out food to several tables that were seated after us) I asked one of the waitresses where our food was. After checking with the kitchen, she came back and let us know that she forgot to put our order in. She didn't even remember what we ordered, so we had to order again. Then it took another 15 minutes to get the food after that....it's just noodles, beef and broth, not sure why it needs to take so long. We were finally eating 62 minutes after we walked in. (Yes, I timed it carefully.) As if that wasn't enough to warrant a 1 star review, the three teenagers that were working there were chatting and laughing with each other at the front of the restaurant, and not paying attention to their customers. I had to get up out of my seat and hand them my water cup for a refill. No thanks, Pho81 read more

Their rare steak pho is delicious, lemonade is perfection, and Mexican rolls are amazing. This place was definitely worth going to.

We were so excited to see another Pho restaurant open in Brighton. But, like several other reviewers, I found Pho 81 to be a disappointment. The food is okay (skip the summer rolls; the pork (?) is a little on the funky side). Pho is filling - lots of veggies! Priced fairly. Service, on the other hand, is horrible. The first time, we received our drinks after we finished with dinner, and believe me it wasn't for a lack of asking. They gave us the drinks at the counter as we were paying. You will need to prepare to find a waitress after ordering, or you want refills, or if you want a to-go box. Our second visit was worse than the first. The people sitting behind us were frustrated, too, from having to wait so long to place their order. A couple across from us had to ask the bus boy for help. The family in front of us received their drinks (they were vocal) long after we sat down. It's difficult not to notice the lack of service. Suffice it to say, I agree with the majority of the reviews. Save your money (and your time!). Skip Pho 81. read more

I'm not a food snob but this just wasn't very good. I wish I read the other reviews before going and have taken the warning into consideration. I would give two stars but it's an extra star bc part of me really likes something about the two women there even if they run their business a bit whacky and a LOT of improvements need to be made. You know that tv show where they swoop in and remodel the menu and restaurant to try and save the business? I never thought I have ever been to a place that would need that but this place is totally it. :( The woman serving us was very nice although it sucked that all of my husbands good came out before mine instead of together so we could eat together. When you're both as hungry as an elephant, it sucks watching someone else feed their face while you try to suck down old bobAs. I ordered the taro boba tea. All of the bonus were either old/ or over cooked or both. I have never had boba 's that have sticker together like that. There were chunks of ice in the drink and I gave myself brain freeze trying to find the bo as. There were like 6 stuck together. Normally these things have a good amount of those little balls and they are plump and chewy. These were old flat and stuck together. And totally gross. The rest of the taro tasted pretty good. I avoided my 6 bobAs. We ordered the crab wontons. They were alright but you could tell they were fresh. They were a little stale and had a bit of that freezer taste. I ordered chicken lo mein.it was loaded with noodles, and drowned in sauce. Hardly any chicken or veggies in there. It tasted like a thick mushroom sauce. It's didn't expect it to be like lo me in at a Chinese restaurant by any means but def didn't expect that at all. I wouldn't order it again either. I also had random beef chunks in my lo mein but I'm assuming it's because they used the same pan my husbands beef fried rice was cooked in instead of a fresh pan. My husband had a seafood pho. There was a muscle in there that ad some hairy looking part in the middle of it. It looked like a hairy va-Jay Jay. He avoided it . It was hilarious but gross. Haha.we had a good laugh at it. He felt the rest of his pho was pretty good though to be fair. The sides were skimped out on a bit for what other pho restaurants serve. He had beef fried rice. It didn't look too bad but he said it was very oily. I think they skimp out on a lot of things because maybe the rent is high and they are trying to save money. Perhaps not a lot if people come here because of the food and it's goes back and forth. We would gladly come back if it was just small dumb things and pretty good food. I wish we didn't get skimped on with chicken and veggies , have old/overcooked yucky boba, gotten our food about the same time, or had greasy food and weird portions, and then heard the two ladies go at it in the kitchen. Not a good dinner in any way. :( It just sucks that not even one bit of it went right or tasted good. :( I kind of just felt sorry for them. Overpaid for the service and left thinking how we won't be back again. We were going to stick to the other Pho place closer down the street. I really do hope that they check all of this out and take the feedback into consideration. If things changed, I would be happy to give it another try. Until then- we will get our fix elsewhere. read more

I really loved my pho and the imperial rolls (egg rolls) were delicious and gluten free.
