This review is for 12:30 lunchtime on a rainy Wednesday. Lots of open tables so we chose where we wanted to be seated. Service was pleasant and friendly throughout the meal. Had summer vegetable rolls which were generously sized and well-stuffed and served with peanut sauce on the side. Traditional Banh Mi baguette was very good and I definitely appreciated that the bread was toasted and crispy! Pho with beef tendons was good but not exceptional. Out of curiosity I ordered green tea ice cream for dessert. It's 3 scoops in a large glass bowl with crispy bits for decoration and crunch. Very nice but too large a portion and too expensive for ice cream. It was also not authentic green tea ice cream which should be darker green and much less sweet. Decor in the dining room reminds me of an old Disney movie featuring an enormous tree! I was waiting for it to start talking! First, they made my mango smoothie drink wrong (too sour and bitter). They remade and it tasted great! Second, they dropped a fork into my cup while cleaning the table and didnt even change my cup. I waited to see if the waiter would come back to replace it but he didn't. I had to ask them to change it.. Third, they completely forgot about my order.....I didnt get my food until everyone already finished eating... Fourth, this is a smaller issue but my soup was not hot enough to fully cook the raw meat served with my pho. I loved my dining experience here the two times I have been! I usually get the chicken chop pho and it always hits the spot. They give plenty of noodles and the broth is tasty and flavorful. I ordered delivery multiple times from Pho 60 through UberEats. Have not been to the restaurant in person yet. Service is great, they made sure to pack everything nice and neat, including sauces, toppings, soup container, noodle bowl, utensils, etc. I got their Special Pho, the broth is surprisingly really flavorful without adding any sauce, a few squeezes of lime did it for me. The grilled chicken banh mi is on the smaller side, but the taste is great. This might be the best Viet spot on the island, will be ordering more from them! read more

Pho 60 is one of the few and best authentic Vietnamese restaurants within Staten Island. The servers are really attentive. The interior is very esthetic and makes you feel like you're inside a forest due to the unique wall decorations and large tree that's smack in the middle of the restaurant. We came in a party of 4 and everything was delicious. We got: 1) Brisket Noodle soup - broth was good, Noodle was smooth, brisket was delicious 2) Grilled pork chop over rice - tasted very authentic. You will not regret trying this. I think the pork chop tasted better than the grilled chicken. 3) Grilled chicken over rice vermicelli with spring roll as add-on - the chicken was also delicious. you could probably skip on the spring roll. 4) Grilled pork chop, crab patty, shredded pork skin over rice - you could probably skip on adding the crab patty and shredded pork skin. The service is very friendly and quick, where the ambiance is very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, which you can see in the video. The pork belly with egg was very tender and flavorful, with a delicate balance between its savoriness and sweetness without it being overpowering. The spring roll had a nice crunch and had flavorful bits of taro(?) which added a nice texture contrast. The hainanese chicken was very soft and smooth, pairing perfectly with its condiments. I definitely recommend the dark meat over the white meat, for I found the dark meat to be way juicier and flavorful than the white meat. Overall, Pho 60 has a nice variety of beverages and entrees, with unique selections like bone marrow and king crab! We went in around 2pm on Saturday, which is not the peak time for lunch anymore. The restaurant is not very busy but customers keep coming and going. It seems busy enough. It's right in the strip mall so there's plenty of parking spots. The space is pretty spacious. The decor is decent and everything looks clean. staff is friendly. Food is pretty good. Spring roll: very crunchy. 6/10 Pork chop- very yummy. Good flavor. 9/10 Pho 60-soup flavor is good. The bean spout and basil is not given much but you can ask for more. 7/10. If the soup is hotter, I'll give a higher score. It's not hot enough to me. Bun Bo hue-5/10. Too salty to me. We ordered mild but it's still pretty spicy. Make sure you order plain if you don't like spicy food. The after-taste is too strong and lingers for a long time. I like the flavor but not the long lasting lingering after-taste in my mouth. This was our most anticipated opening of the year ! We loved their original shop back in Brooklyn and when we saw the sign of the newly opened pho place we had to make sure it was them! Their pho broth is not too heavy and not too bland, it's perfect on a cold winters or rainy day. We went during one of their soft openings , the first week of opening. The service itself was fast and the server and manager was extremely nice and kind. Despite that, the wait was a bit long. We understood the reason behind it as operations were still new and underway. But the food there always hits the spot ! We highly recommend the pho dac biet which is your large pho bowl with all the meats the restaurant has available. Our next favorite is the Vietnamese pancake , crispy and filled with bean sprouts and shrimp. The batter is always crispy and comes out pipping hot. But do beware, ordering the pancake will take much longer than your other dishes. The pancake itself takes long to cook as it ensures the exterior is extra crunchy and stays crispy ! Vietnamese coffee wasn't the best I've had. The coffee was strong yes, but it lacked that infamous condensed milk flavor which I usually crave and look for. It was my first time trying Pho. My mother in law invited me to Pho 60 and it was conveniently located in a shopping plaza with ample parking: upon arrival the place is beautifully decorated with a full bar. I was unsure what to order and asked the waiter for assistance. He briefly described the plates but didn't really make any suggestions on what to try for the first time. I love this place. I used to go to Pho Mac here on Staten Island and it was really good but it was far for me. This place Pho 60 is literally next to my house walking distance. Me and my family always come here to the point they know us now. In terms of the service. Excellent excellent excellent. They have been nothing but kind and helpful. Some of the workers have a hard time understanding English but that's just normal in places like these but they were really doing their best to understand and help me which they did. Of course there's people that spoke English here as well. The ambiance, I love it. I love the fact that they're playing modern music, music that I personally listen to on a daily LOL. (Got me singing and eating my pho and doing my little dance dance, thanks pho 60). And last but not least the food. I love it as well! In terms of the pho, the meat is tender, the noodles don't stick to each-other and when you pick it up with your chop sticks it's just nice and the soup is so flavorful! Overall very good but too expensive! $105 (with 18% tip) for 3 kids and 2 adults; we ordered 4 soups, 1 sandwich and a supposed large order of spring rolls. This pho is a go to spot for me. So many options on the menu and it's so nice to eat good, authentic pho in a clean and pretty restaurant rather than the hole in the wall spots you typically have to go to for a decent bowl. The decor and lighting is very cool! The pho dac beit is the only pho in my opinion, but there are other variations if you don't want to be as adventurous with what cuts of meat are added. We've always been seated immediately and had pretty quick service! We even had a friend forget his card at the restaurant once and when we called back they had already had it on hold for us and it was very easy to get it back! read more

The place in the same complex as Hook and Reel, Chipotle and that Retro Fitness. They still are in their soft opening phase but the amount of people coming in, you'd think they were there for awhile. TLDR: remember when Pho Mac just opened and it was the place to go to? Well this brought back that feeling so if you're a fan of viet - check it out For pictures we got the Bone Marrow ($9), Calamari ($13), soft shell crab bahn mi ($15), regular Bahn mi ($9) and a pork belly rice dish ($12). We also ordered 2 other noodles that I didn't bother taking pictures of with an average price is $13 each and spring rolls ($13 for 8). All the broths for the noodles were clean tasting and the sauce that came with the pork belly dish was full of flavor. We did like the Calamari - more like squid pieces really - but for the price, they could have offered more. Think of the last time you ordered calamari and reduce that number by a 1/3 or half depending on how large of an order you got and that's how little the dish was. Tasted good but not worth $13 Bone Marrow was a one and done for us, not because it was bad but there wasn't much marrow albeit very delicious and seasoned well. Of course every marrow may be different so if you're going to splurge every now and then, I'd say order this! The bahn mi breads are very fresh and as I'm writing this, the top of my mouth is all cut up from the bread lol The soft shell crab bahn mi is a great "treat yourself" type of sandwich but it's about half the size of a regular bahn mi and about 1.5x the price of a regular bahn mi. The regular bahn mi, as shown in the photo actually has a decent slab of ham on there. I did enjoy it and I'm still partial to "Ba Xuyen" in Brooklyn as my favorite spot always but with the toll and gas combined, Pho 60 would hit the spot better than all the Staten Island places that serve bahn mi by a large margin. Since I am within driving distance of both Bahn mi House and Pho 60 equally, i'd rather order from Pho 60. Don't bother with Bahnmigos if they're still open, for bahn mi. If ordering from Pho Mac lately has felt like it's missing something and Pho Rainbow was always just ok in general to you, then I'd give this place a shot and come to your own conclusion but we are a fan. read more

The place was kind of big with a lobster tank, VIP room and LED light that changed different colors. The staff was friendly and the service was good. We order different types of foods.
