Authentic Pho and Vietnamese iced coffee! Was here when they opened at 11am on Friday and it started filling up pretty quick.

We tried their PHO and PAD THAI dishes --- both excellent --- as were the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The offerings via the menu present a more diverse and broader range of foods --- more South East Asian overall. What we find odd is the ratings attributed to the former Saigon Bistro are attributed to this new restaurant. This is confusing. The good news is we find the offerings here, in our limited experience, to be excellent. Highly recommended.

I find it nice and comforting when it is clear that many other patrons to a small restaurant are obviously regulars. There wouldn't be regulars if a place wasn't good! That said, my meal was mostly kind of meh. I got the Vietnamese crepe, which is more like an omelet, and I think I just ordered something that didn't hit my palate right. My guy was happy with his meal (pho), but I found mine a little bland and wanting. I am sure other things would have been better, I just chose the wrong thing to order. Service was pretty good and I can see this as being a solid, every day lunch spot for folks in the area.

The takeout was neatly packaged and deconstructed (I just got the pho tai), and you put it together at home. It was quite good! Fast forward when pandemic started to let up and the tables were out and you could eat in. Wow, well the eat-in experience was just way more enjoyable. But I really just enjoyed ordering food at sitting for a change. The workers are super nice and accommodating. It gets busy here at times! And no surprise... as the only pho business in town! Now is it the best pho I've ever had? No, but it is quite good and I'm not going to be picky! They have the basics plus some. Wish they had the coconut juice and smoothies, but I rather have the good food. We come here almost weekly, if not more! Warning however, don't expect big city cheaper prices. This is the only pho in town and they charge in line with it. What we order for 2 adults and a kid is *almost* twice what we'd pay even in CT. But it's good enough to warrant it. If there's ever another decent pho place that comes to Bluffton however, it might be beneficial competition for diners. A big draw... their pork dumplings are AMAZING!! My daughter and husband loves them so much, they insist on their own appetizer each. They are so well crisped all around and just so tasty. Definitely recommend! Also, I always end get their regular beef pho (pho tai) and we get my daughter the chicken on broken rice. (Oddly it's not actually on the menu, but they have it). It's like sliced up thin chicken in a delicious seasoning that's sweet but also a tiny bit of a kick. My daughter hates spicy but still eats this! It comes with a sweet sauce (one similar to the kind that you pour on a bun (noodle) salad dish), and my daughter likes to dip the chicken slices in it. I keep thinking I'd branch out to try other dishes, so maybe I will eventually! If you are hungry for pho, or some other great dishes, definitely come here!

The service was a little odd as each appetizer and entree came out at different times, one dish at a time and one appetizer after the entrees were all delivered. But the flavors were incredible and the service was friendly. Tom Kha Gai soup was excellent with a great coconut broth and the cup at $5.95 is huge, like a large cereal bowl. Spring rolls were great too and we loved the steamed Shrimp Rolls in a lemon teriyaki sauce. Two of us ordered the Nam Tok Beef Salad and it was amazing. My first time ordering this dish. It's similar to Laab/Larb but with beef instead of chicken. It was a tender flank steak, tossed with lettuce, cucumber, green onions and chilis. Choose your heat level, I went with spicy, just a step below the Thai spicy and it was just enough to make my nose run. You can also get it with zero spice, but that combo of hot beef, crisp cold vegetables, spicy, sweet, sour, crunchy and chewy. The pad see ew was also excellent and they bring you a few chocolates at the end of the meal. With all of the apps we were too full for dessert.

I got drunken noodles and my friend got yellow curry. Positions were pretty big. My drunken noodles were flavorful but they were a little different than what I'm used to. They didn't seem stir fried but rather cooked in the sauce which is also did not remind me of drunken noodles sauce. It was still good. My friend was very happy with her curry

10/10 - A Must-Stop Every Time I've been coming here ever…read moresince I was little, and it's one of those places that never disappoints. Every time I'm anywhere close, I make it a point to stop, and this trip was no different. I was driving back home to North Carolina and had to make one last stop because it's just that good. The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with fresh ingredients, plenty of parmesan, and an amazing sauce, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Everything tasted just as good as I remembered. Service was a 10/10 and wonderful seating options MUST GO!!!

Even after the 2021 rebrand, it still held on for a while, but something in the last 5 years at the main office has completely lost touch. They expanded to three locations: ; downtown, Tybee, and Hilton Head, and in the process the whole identity fell apart. The menu has been gutted of its originality. The "OG" items are now overpriced, portion sizes have been cut in half, and the original sides that made it special are gone. What used to be a simple, order-and-sit-down experience is now chaotic. You're herded in by an overstaffed but somehow still disorganized team of high-turnover employees with zero consistency and very little emotional intelligence. There are always way too many staff for the number of customers, yet service somehow keeps getting worse. Last night was the final straw. We tried the Tybee location first, waited 30 minutes just to be seated, only to be told they were basically out of everything and could only do drinks. So we drove to downtown. Same exact thing. Out of sausage. When we asked if we could just remove it or substitute it, we didn't get a simple no, we got an "absolutely not," because apparently everything is pre-mixed and nothing can be adjusted. Even worse once we sat down. It took 15 minutes just to be asked for drink orders. A different server came over, introduced himself like we were starting fresh, and then got visibly annoyed when we said we'd already ordered water and a soda. From there it just kept getting more awkward. At one point he bumped my cup while I was literally lifting it to my lips and told me to "watch out" while he was placing food down. He took forever to check us out and finally bring our soda to go, and ended the night by saying, "just so you know I'm faster than the other girl," like we were in the middle of some weird staff competition we didn't sign up for. On the outside it still looks like a fun Savannah staple. But once you sit down, you realize you're no longer a local guest, you're trapped in an overhyped tourist operation that's completely lost what made it good in the first place.
