I'd heard this place had the best pork bánh mì in the area, so I knew I had to try it for myself --…read moreand I was not disappointed. Fair warning: you won't find it on the menu, but it exists, and I highly recommend asking for it. I visited on a Tuesday just after opening to a wonderfully warm welcome. Being the only customer at the time, the service was attentive and personal from start to finish. I started with a Thai iced tea and the Thai papaya salad before getting to what I was really there for: the off-menu pork bánh mì. (They also offer beef and chicken, but pork is the classic for a reason.) The papaya salad was a great way to start -- generous in portion, easily shareable, and served in a crisp lettuce cup. Bright, tangy, and perfectly limey with that familiar hit of fish sauce and a satisfying crunch in every bite. The Thai iced tea was equally refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. But the star of the show? That pork bánh mì. The bread hit that magical sweet spot -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The pork was tender and deeply flavorful, and the toppings (pickled carrot, cucumber, onion, and fresh cilantro) delivered the perfect balance of brightness and crunch. Mayo on the inside added a nice richness, and a side spoon of spicy mayo tied everything together beautifully. Wanda and Nana were my servers and they were outstanding. When I mentioned I'd be back for the phở, they brought me a small bowl of broth to taste on the spot -- rich, aromatic, and full of depth. Now I'm even more eager to come back for a full bowl with all the fixings. The owner (I didn't catch his name, but is a fellow Minions fan :)) was equally warm, sending me off with a little grab bag of fortune cookies on the way out. I will absolutely be back -- for more bánh mì and that phở. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

We ordered the steamed dumplings, the side of the dumplings were good plus the filling was amazing and tasty. 10/10. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, the shrimps are actually somewhat big unlike the typical shrimp used for fried rice. It was tasty and a big portion. One was enough for two. The winner of the meal though had to be the Banh Mi. It's not on the menu, you have to request it. The banh mi was crunchy, lots of meat and just delicious overall. One of the best I've had. We ordered an extra one to go. The price is also very affordable. $10. Great place.

The staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When I bring friends that are new to the concept, staff are eager to explain the bar, the revolving ingredients, and the different types of broth. Water glasses are never empty (which is a good thing since I tend towards a mix of spicy & tomato broths). The food is always fresh, and the bar/tables are always clean. The space is extremely inviting because of the lighting, the large floor to ceiling windows and the furniture. And the meets, veggies, seafood, and sauces are always fully stocked - I have never had to request staff to refill an ingredient. I love the variety they offer, and will continue to make this my go-to hotpot spot for the foreseeable future!

I also appreciated that the restroom was clean.

I came back a second time, and she actually remembered me, which made the experience even more special. She even threw in an order of spring rolls for my son and me, jokingly saying, "I gave you extra so you won't have to fight with your son!" She was absolutely adorable and had such a great sense of humor. The Vietnamese coffee was bold, robust, and perfectly sweet--it kept me going all day. The pho was served piping hot, fresh, and full of vibrant flavors. I also ordered the fried duck with rice and vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. It even held up well on my drive home. The duck stayed crispy and hot, and the flavorful sauce on the vegetables tied everything together perfectly. I also tried the grilled pork vermicelli bowl with peanuts. I ordered another one with chicken and asked for it without peanuts because my son has a nut allergy. It was delicious--almost like a deconstructed pho without the broth. As good as it was, I still prefer the pho because the broth is, hands down, the best part. It's rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth coming back for. The portions are generous, so you'll easily have enough for two meals. Please check out this spot and show this hidden gem some love. You'd never expect a pho restaurant excluding the word "Pho" from their title to be delicious but this is the rare exception! I order the PH1 which is their special pho. Their broth at first sip was immaculate. One sip of this broth can cure a night of drinking... I swear! You know broth is good when you don't have to add any condiments. But of course I still did but it didn't take much for me to enjoy. What I can say is the oxtail let me down a little bit. It only came with two small ones, but better than nothing! Most combination pho don't have oxtail as a meat. They also give you a ton of water (if you eat by yourself) . The sriracha they have is not bad as well. I'd give this place try if you're in the area. If not, just come from how unique the plaza is.
