We were in the area this afternoon on other business and had a yearning for Vietnamese food and once again my trusty YELPERS steered us in the right direction! This is a small family run place which is neat and clean and also goes by the name PHO 16! We were seated immediately and Kon our server was extremely efficient! The wifey ordered the Chicken Wings appetizer and the fried Tofu and she loved them both! Kev ordered the Combo Rice platter and was actually quiet for the next 15 mins while he devoured/inhaled it! (He looked like he enjoyed it .... Which is an achievement in itself as he is a very discerning (picky) eater! I ordered the Raw Beef and Brisket Pho and it was Deelish! Prolly one of the tastiest ones I've had in a long time. We ordered to Thai Ice Teas and they were very good. The prices were very reasonable and our entire meal Cale to $ 42 before taxes and tip! I have begrudgingly eaten too many sad bowls of "spicy mop water," at my desk in Boca, wishing for authentic, not fast-casual phô. When I began to work from home during the pandemic, I took a chance and ordered from Phomee, in Royal Palm Beach. It was a pleasant surprise. We became regulars, but never set foot in the restaurant for a meal until now. It was empty on a Friday afternoon. It really shouldn't be. From the moment we were seated, I kicked myself for not making the teeny drive and experiencing the actual restaurant and not just takeout. The establishment is smallish but the tables are a good size and are nicely spaced. Walls are painted a vibrant green and along them there are additional menu items. Please pay attention to these. We are so glad we did. Also, it is important to note that the restaurant has plenty of vegetarian dishes as well. We ordered the brisket and meatball phô, pork spring rolls, and a mango drink. Service and food presentation were good. But, as always it all boils down to the taste of what's being served. Phomee's drinks are an experience unto themselves-- never too sweet and always outstanding. Mango is not my favorite fruit, but we thought it would complement our meal. It was like a cup of fragrant sunshine. I would definitely order it again. I have tried their delicious shrimp spring rolls before. This time, we ordered pork and we were not disappointed. Very well-seasoned tender bits of pork and fresh, cool veggies, were bound by a spring roll wrapper which was a kind of tough, but the dish was still really good. The accompanying peanut dipping sauce was perfect. The bowls of pho were perfectly sized. Like a medium-large. Enough to leave full and have ample leftovers. The delicate and refined phô broth lacks the hearty depth of a cross-town competitor's slightly more unctuous version. However, Phomee isn't heavy handed with salt and it has a very good, always consistent flavor that cannot be said for its closest competitor. Because of the good quality and tenderness of the meat being used, and the obvious care in its preparation, ultimately this phô was superior. (Do try their chicken as well.) The brisket was perfectly flavored and the texture was exquisite. The slices were razor-thin and plentiful. Half-moons of savory, springy meatballs, also bathed in the golden broth. They were light and garlicky without overpowering the dish. Best I've ever had, hands down. Silky, bountiful noodles balanced out the proteins and broth. Alongside the dish was a platter with a mountain of Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeno slices, and lime wedges, along with soup spoons, chopsticks (and forks if you need). At each table sit containers of Sriracha, chili oil, and hoisin sauce. No matter what is sent home in their well-packaged takeout orders, nothing matches the restaurant experience of adding the condiments. We were waited on by Kim, who was pulling double-duty that day as both cook as well as taking phone orders. She was mild-mannered and courteous. She runs a tight ship and keeps that restaurant immaculate. My guest and I decided that we will not be ordering takeout unless our schedules simply will not allow. I love Pho. Like LOVE LOVE LOVE pho. It's borderline an obsession. So for me to find this excellent authentic Vietnamese restaurant close to where I live, is an absolute joy!!!! I have lived in Wellington for 3+ years and I was always left to drive to Greenacres or Lake Worth. I stopped in for a quick late lunch. I ordered the brisket and flank steak Pho. It was hot and delicious and came out fast! The portion was large, the price very reasonable under $10. Service was good. Restaurant is simple but clean and welcoming. I got the pork banh mi and I thought it was delicious! The pork was savory and I love all the veggies that come with it. The place is cute and allows sit in dining and the employees were nice but keep in mind they like efficiency so they can be very quick! Pho has finally come to the Royal Palm/Wellington area, good Pho that is! Clean venue, pleasant and fast service, a small place that does take out and eat in. Ultra casual, plastic cutlery, plastic Pho bowls, but it doesn't take away from the food! We had crispy fried wings, brined, juicy and full of flavor, these were a totally delicious surprise! We also ordered chicken and rare steak Pho. The bowls in appearance look smaller than some served in other restaurants but in reality there's just less broth and in the end the broth is always left, you can only take In so much. Lots of noodles, chicken and slices of tender steak, with all of the accoutrements, bean sprouts, basil, limes, jalapeños, spicy/sweet tamarind sauce, Siracha, all fresh. Let's just say that I wasn't impressed with the Staff at first point of contact, not friendly or helpful. Never got our water, waited ten minutes or so for pho and sandwich, food was bland in my opinion and I had to go up to the counter to remind the guy that I never got my water,...he was too occupied on his phone chatting away. I will not go back, they don't need my money, I thought I would give it try since it's somewhat near where I had to be. read more

I have had the beef Pho a couple times now and have been been very satisfied both times. The broth is very good and I would love for there to be a spicy broth option! I think on to go orders they could include more of the veggies that come on the side, but I do like to load my bowl up with them.. So maybe that's just me! This place is terrible! The people work there are rude, they are over priced and the soup doesn't have much taste. They put very little meat in the soup. They use cheap bread for their Vietnamese sandwiches and meat they put in is too sweet. It's not authentic at all. They charge about 7 dollars for their drinks, they don't even put mile in it! Spent many years living in a Vietnamese district so I've had a wide variety of pho on the good and bad side of the spectrum. I generally stick with Pho Tai(rare steak), and I would say this falls about in the middle. The steak didn't look or taste like the freshly shaved, cooking in the bowl variety, but it certainly didn't taste like the previously cooked, dry, tough variety either. Broth was tasty, not overly sweet. The grilled pork noodle bowl was a little on the sweet side, but yummy. Prices are ok, I think. A lot of the things I used to consider "budget food" all cost around the same as everything else now. I guess it's mostly down to location and enjoyment and I can say I was very satisfied. read more

Amazing tasty food and it's pretty cheap!! The pho is pretty good, but I've only tried it carry out which is never really the same. I'd be willing to bet it's great for dine in. The rice platters are great!! The grilled chicken one comes with a huge marinated chicken breast that tastes like it's fresh off of an open flame. Egg rolls are pretty good too. Don't bother With this place. Much better pho places locally. Got takeout... Broth was HORRIBLE and bland... You had ONE job! The veggies were fresh, but everything else was not good at all. Fried tofu was not edible (picture attached), what the heck is that? Spring rolls and pre-made sauces were boring. Only decent part was the tempura shrimp. Can't really mess up frozen/pre-bought stuff I guess. Was very looking forward to this place and also very let down. It's almost like they don't care. Very good and healthy food. I had the vegan pho. My son had the brisket pho. Both very fresh. We are definitely coming back regularly. My only recommendation is to adjust the lights in the dining area so they are not so bright. read more

This is a NO NO come back restaurant. I will not recomended anybody come to this restaurant. This is a TAKE OUT resutaurant. So funny when there was no sign said take out in front door. First when I came in and seated down, employee not even care or ask or even tell me to go up to counter and order until I saw another customer do so. Menu so short and hard to understand so I asked the cashier to explain. An asian young guy explained like he not care about me, attitude so rude. Then, food came out in a togo container with cold broth and only few slice of beef cost around $10. I asked the "RUDE" guy about why my soup was cold and he only said "THAT THE WAY WE DO"! like WTF.
