I started coming back here a few years ago and the food and service is a lot better than it was years ago. The original owner and staff were horrible. This current owner and staff are a lot nicer and food tastes better. The restaurant itself is very outdated. Tables have cracks on them and the sauces are hardly ever wiped down. Feels icky grabbing the sauces. The food however is why I still come. My favorite is the Pho and Wonton noodle soup. The owner is always there and very pleasant to talk to. read more

Family run pho restaurant in a strip mall -- ordered a pho combo and the summer rolls. Both tasted really fresh and the broth was super flavorful and tasty. The combo pho came with lots of goodies such as brisket, tendons, tripe, and meatballs as well as the other classic toppings. Summer rolls were just ok -- definitely have had better it it tasted like it was just stuffed with bean sprouts rather than the cucumber, carrot type of fillings I tend to prefer. 1. Ice coffee was made from instant 3-1 powder, not traditionally filtered. 2. Spicy beef soup was a mix of pho and spicy beef soup. 3. The soup bowl that comes with the rice platter was diluted pho. 4. The pork meat in the rice platter was sautéed instead of grilled, as shown on the menu. Food here was very good. The flavor of the broth for the Pho combo that i had was very good. If I wanted to I really didn't need to add anything to it. I could've just eaten it as is. But I still added all the essentials like hoisin sauce, Sriracha, and lime and other things too. My wife had the chicken Pho and she enjoyed that too. Service could have definitely been a lot better. First we waited a long to be seated. Like when we walked in we just stood there no one was there; literally no one came out to seat us. And there were only two parties in the whole restaurant. I just got back to my hotel room and opened my food to find this! A course black hair in my summer roll. Wrapped up nice and tightly and sticking out the end. Talk about losing your appetite! This is disgusting. I didn't even have the stomach to open the rest of the food after seeing that. The restaurant would only refund the summer roll and told me nothing was wrong with the rest of it. If I could give this place a zero, I would. Horrible service. The owner is the cook. We ordered a traditional soup that had catfish. It was frozen and the middle was still bloody. They took it back a scoop out the frozen fish and reheated the soup. Also warning parties of 4 or more an automatic 20% tip is added for horrible service. The place was not clean. 4 stars for the food. Prices are relatively inexpensive and portions are right sized. This very casual, no frills Vietnamese restaurant has a number of competitors in the area. We haven't been to the ones nearby and across the street -- so I can't compare it to those. However, we do like Vietnamese food and have eaten a lot of it in other locations. We started with a summer roll. We got it with shrimp as opposed to pork. The two rolls in the order are perfect to share. They were tightly wrapped and had a lot of shrimp in them. Unlike some we've had in the past, I liked that there were more greens inside the soft rice paper wrappers than noodles. ITV came with the traditional peanut dipping sauce. For our entrees, he got their #32 -- pork and spring roll vermicelli. A large portion of grilled pork along with 2 crispy spring rolls (each cut into 4 pieces) on top of vermicelli noodles along with lettuce, cucumbers, and bean sprouts. There's also a bit of shredded carrots and daikon.All topped with crushed roasted peanuts. A small bowl of fish sauce (to be poured over the meal) came on the side. I also got the vermicelli, but #31 which had a lot of deliciously grilled shrimp on top of all the above mentioned items. The pho was just Ok. The fresh spring rolls were mediocre, not fresh at all. The Bun thit nuong was much better than the pho. This is a family run Vietnamese restaurant like many in S. Florida. The father cooks in the kitchen, the mother serves and the son is the host and waiter. Restaurant was clean and inviting. The quality of each dish shows pride and dedication to draw return customers. I always want to try a variety of items to understand the quality of flavors. We tried our favorites: Summer Roll, Pho Special and Vermicelli #35. First, the Pho soup was very flavorful. Eating Pho fills you up fast because of the wonderful soup. The portions of meats were excellent! The large bowl gives you enough to take some home. The Summer Roll was wrapped with good sized shrimps. Homemade peanut sauce with sprinkled peanuts,, nice and thick. Some places like to water down this sauce, not here. My favorite dish is the Vietnamese Vermicelli bowl with fried eggroll, grilled shrimp and sliced grilled pork. Not all restaurants have this trio. Of course, the best part of this dish is the sweet sauce to pour and dip with everything. It was well worth a trip north, thanks to a review from our Yelp Elite friend Julie F. Growing up in Palm Beach, I almost never ate pho outside of my house because no one made it better than my grandma. I was very particular about my pho until I found Pho 1. I got a medium pho dat biet and it was amazing. Pho Dat Biet: the most fatty brisket and broth you will ever taste. The pho comes to you near boiling and the noodles are perfectly cooked. I loved how fatty the brisket was and the meat to noodle to broth ratio. Overall: I can't wait to get pho again from this place when I come visit. Definitely recommend the Soft tendon pho, the broth is amazing and the texture of the tendon is the best I've had in the local area. The portion size is great even for heavy eaters like myself (I got the large and it was just enough to fill me up without being too full) plus they give a generous amount of meat in the bowl as well. Lately I've been eat Pho at Pho Saigon up the street. Then I tried this one. They just opened 1 week ago. Today is Easter Sunday April 4th 2021; so they just opened around March 27th; 2021. But the Pho here is de Bomb. Fantastic. Clear smooth broth. Th e place is nicely decored. Modern. Clean. And spacious. Im VNese and I noticed a lot actually all VNese customers where as Pho Saigon had lots of American customers. I tried Pho 16; Bobba tea pho. And Pho Saigon and this one is the best hands down. But in speaking with one of the waitress; she mentioned that they cane from Pho Saigon. Translation they were the cooks for Pho Saigon and split up and opened their own Pho restaurant and this is it. Brand new Vietnamese restaurant in middle of several Vietnamese restaurants nearby. Pho 16 across street is hard to beat for many classic VN dishes. Pho 1 has smaller menu pure VN classics, Pho Bo with all the variations, vermicelli, and any meat with rice. Bun Bo Hue is specialty here, getting some to go. I preferred classics Cha Gio (fried pork rolls) and Pho Tai chin (pho with rare steak and brisket) which are always my favorites. Never bad, usually 3 star. Cha Gio is good but average. Pho 5 stars, no complaints, excellent broth, both brisket and steak superior to my palate, huge portion with extra large and only 11.95. This is one of the few good Vietnamese restaurants to offer alcohol, though license on hold, on menu though :-) I'll be back to check out vermicelli and more :-) read more

I have been here three times. Their pho has more meat and is bigger than Pho 16 just across the street. Their menu is a little better but equally delicious. There are plenty of options on the menu I look forward to trying. You can't go wrong with either restaurant. Try them both and see which one you like better. I happily recommend them both to everyone. You might want to notice that one is closed on Monday and one is closed on Tuesday so don't make the mistake of thinking you're going to one on either day because you might have to go to the other.
