I had the grilled pork & eggroll/spring roll vermicelli and let me tell you what was wrong with it: the "egg roll" was actually generic fast food CHINESE takeout and the mints was only cilantro! I moved here from California. I decided to give Pho24 a try. I was disappointed because i love seafood Pho. Shimp,squid and fish ball. Pho24 only has shrimp. But still the shrimp Pho and shrimp spring rolls were excellent! I would definitely recommend Pho24! read more

Noodles were less like rice and more like ramen. Broth was not really what I call flavorful and despite ordering beef (which is what my receipt even showed) I received shrimp. They were the best tasting part of the meal, cooked perfectly. Its just not what I ordered or wanted. I'm a pho lover, and so I try out new places whenever I have the opportunity. The best ever, by the way, is the Golden Cow in the Vietnamese community of Northern Virginia. As I am somewhat of a Pho connoisseur, I know a few things about good and excellent Pho. Ive enjoyed bowls of Pho all over the US and Canada and I even prepare it myself sometimes. From the very first time I visit here a few months ago, to every single time I have visited Pho 24, I've always had a great bowl of Pho. My favorite go-to Pho is the brisket and fatty brisket. The broth is as good as it gets and each bowl is chock-full of whatever meat or meats you choose. This is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST pho restaurant I ever been. The food quality was poor and the service was terrible. I ordered combination pho with all the different kinds of meats in and ice coffee with induced milk. The quality of meats were so bad that I can smell unpleasant odor. I couldn't finish the dish. The drink didn't even come out until we finish our meal. We tried to ask where is our drinks, and honestly the servers wouldn't even look into the direction where we are. Are you expecting a service? Well, don't expect that at this place because they would not even come to your table to asking what you need or if everything came as what we expected. Nothing was ready on the table, so we have to ask every time what we need - straws, sauce plates, drinks. When we asked for all the missing things, the server said that they are busy and just bring our drinks in the to-go cups, not even asking if we want in a togo cup. We finally talked to manager/owner of this restaurant about the quality of dish and poor service. He didn't even say anything about this and asked the server to go check our plate. The menu is friendly enough for non-Vietnamese reading folk except for what was that smoothie I had??? Khoai Môn - Taro. Honestly I had no idea it was an Asian root that is common for cooking. That smoothie was amazing! Next I had the Bún Tôm Nng, Tht Nng- Grilled Shrim & Pork w/ Rice Vermicelli. Very pretty giant bowl and I had no idea how to eat it . It looked pretty and had the flavor to go with it. Been going here ever since they opened up since I live so close but I don't think I'll go back after tonight. Ordered for pickup online and took what the lady had given me, went back home and realized that I was missing an item. I called the store and the man said that they couldn't refund me for the item since they didn't have the power to on their end which is absolutely ridiculous since their Clover system should give them every right to, and he went on to gaslight me, saying that it was my fault for leaving the item at the restaurant and abruptly hung up the call after I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to. The food is good but this single interaction just ruined the whole place for me, and you would think an $80 ticket would permit some reasonable service. I just hope none of the tip I left goes to that guy. It's sad that every other experience I've had here was great. There's other pho places around, you can do better than this one. read more

This was my first time going to a Pho restaurant and was brought here by my Vietnamese friends. They felt it was one of the 'better Pho' restaurants in my area. I ordered the #7 Pho, which was a sampling of everything. The Pho came out really quickly, which was a great plus. HOWEVER, the rest of our order didn't come out as fast. My group ordered a shrimp spring roll appetizer, as well as a Vietnamese sandwich with one of the meats inside it. These two items came almost 15 minutes after the Pho came out. Besides that, the Pho tasted really good. From my previous experiences with restaurant soup dishes, they are very salty. This dish was not salty at all. The broth was made very well, and definitely complimented the meats that I got with the meal. The meats came in the bowl rare, however after some time, and mixing it around, it was cooked to a medium. I got the small order, however they offer a medium and large as well. The small 'bowl' was larger than most bowls that are in other restaurants. They bring out sides as well for the Pho, which includes bean sprouts, fresh herbs, lime and Freshly sliced Jalapeno peppers. It didn't come spicy at all, so I had to add some sriracha sauce to it, which made it much better. Even though this was my first time going, i am definitely a fan, and am looking forward to eating here again in the future. Hopefully the service is faster for dishes other than Pho. read more

You have to check carefully if they charged the 15% tip without your knowledge. The 15% tip IS NOT mentioned anywhere in the restaurant and menu. They don't give you the check because their shady business practice will be revealed. We asked for a refund because we paid an extra tip on top of the 15% tip but they refused to refund and said that they have to charge the 15% no matter what. We tried to explain that giving a tip or not is up to a customer but a restaurant but they didn't want to understand. They don't seem to know that what they are doing is illegal. I came in and had the tender soup pho. The broth was delicious. Very flavorful and had the light oil layer on top that I look for in a good bone broth. However, I prefer the bbq pork in their vermicelli dishes. Rice dishes are smaller in portions than I've seen in other pho restaurants. I used to like this place but their prices for pho have gotten quite high at this point. I wouldn't knock them on it since I understand times are difficult for everyone right now but when I ordered takeout earlier, I asked the gentleman at the register when they raised prices. He proceeded to say it has always been at this price and showed me a menu with labels placed over the original prices.. like I said it's fine if you raise prices, but you don't have to lie to me and at least be transparent about it with pricing online or on Yelp. By the way he proceeded to tell me that they had raised prices 3 weeks ago after I pointed out the ridiculous statement he made saying they were always priced this way.. so this review is more of on principle of their shady service more than anything. Great food and great staff! Reasonable prices, large portions. The staff remembered us when we walked in for our second visit :) I know I stand out from their other guests because of my hair, but the fact that the staff remembered us and noticed that I made changes to my hair warms my heart. I can't stress enough how I really like the staff. They treat you as welcomed guests in a home. As for the food, I gave in and got pho. The broth was delicious, it reminds me of home. Most restaurants that serves pho have watered down broth and it deters me from ordering pho at most locations because I am usually left highly disappointed. Today I took my daughter to lunch for her birthday at this place. We had the Brisket pho and it had way too much fat.The beef broth tasted old and fatty from all the extra fat in the meat. We had to ask for more lemons to drown out the terrible taste. I ate as much as I could but my daughter just could not eat this filth. The water they gave us had a soap taste to it so I did not have anything to help with the old pho.
