Medium Mint Mojito Iced Coffee ($6.5, August 2024)

In-Person & Order Ahead. Busy Work from Home Ambiance. Indoor Couches & Tables, Outdoor Tables. Drinks Lower Taste Quality than other Philz. Free, Two-Hour Residential Parking.

Wow, this Philz outpost in Noe Valley is like the spiritual opposite of the original cafe in the Mission. They're both on 24th Street but at opposite ends of the social spectrum as far as I can tell. This one more likely draws young mothers attached to their baby strollers, not slightly tarnished hipsters lost in their smartphones. Since I don't fit into either demo, I feel compatible in both stores, probably because I order the same thing regardless, the $4 Large Silken Splendor light light. This time I felt more peckish because I just scaled Diamond Heights and Glen Canyon, so I felt a need for a $4 slice of Poppyseed Cake (photo: https://bit.ly/41A0K1R). No Mission Nervosa in here, it's quite calm in here. COFFEE - 4 stars...still the same Philz quality AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...a mellow vibe befitting the neighborhood SERVICE - 3.5 stars...same procedure here TOTAL - 4 stars...Philz no matter where RELATED - Exploring Noe Valley? This is my 800th review on Yelp! 800 reviews is a lot of reviews. So I went to Philz in Noe Valley to meet a friend for a hot drink. The service was friendly and the tea was quite alright. I enjoyed the hot drink drink. I enjoyed the music. I enjoyed conversation with my friend. This Philz was less busy went I went here than the Philz I usually go to in the Mission aka the original Philz on the 24th yet glad we had no problem getting seating here. Recommended if in the area!

Love their coffee because it's so good and doesn't give me upset stomach. Cute ambiance with murals from local artist.

Brownie & Yummy Chocolate Cookie covered in Peppermint bits had the flavors of Christmas.

Nice space away from the bustle of Noe Valley. Parking is tight, but it's away from the main Noe Valley strip so it's not that bad. Also Philz has ample indoor seating, and an outdoor space that would be inviting on a warm day. The staff is friendly, competent, and they do a great job taking care of their customers. Philz has great Coffee, but what made it home today were some of their cookies. I picked up some of their Chocolate Cookies covered in Peppermint Sprinkled, it had a taste of Christmas, had one of them oh so yummy. They have a nice selection of snacks and craft great beverages, plus the outdoor seating makes this location very human / dog friendly on a nice day. Next time as recommended I'll get a Mint Mojito!

10/15/22: artsy fartsy lol

I haven't been to Philz Coffee in a VERY long time!!! Almost a year now, I think. I'm pretty sure every Philz Coffee spot, everyone makes their hot mint mojito differently. I was going to rate this place a 3 star because I think my drink was made ALRIGHT. I don't think it was made properly cause it tasted like regular coffee to me with extra cream. I wasn't blown away like the times I had my hot mint mojito coffees in San Mateo, CA. OR MAYBE I ORDERED IT WRONG?! Lol. Ordering a simple hot mint mojito with every thing on it shouldn't be too hard to make, right? I decided to rate this spot a 4 star because of the person who took my order (today 10/15/22 at around 1245-1PM). He/She/They complimented me on my nails LOL. Even before that compliment, they was very nice and friendly. I didn't ask his/her/their name but I appreciate their smile and a small convo :) I will have to give this spot another try. I was too shy to ask if they could make my drink again. Also, I didn't want to waste coffee. It did the job tho! I was pretty wired after drinking like 5 big gulps lol Their artsy fartsy art was pretty cute.. :) drinks.

I don't know why someone thought these Ross like stickers are a good idea. Please find better stickers as stoppers. I'm drinking my coffee without a lid -___- the drink is good tho!

I was here to meet with a friend who lives around the corner from here. This Philz in Noe has more of a neighborhood feel to it with the comfy couches. It was a HOT day and I got iced green tea. Unfortunately for us, all the seats were taken and we went to the park nearby. Did I mention it was HOT! Here I thought I was escaping the heat by going to the city yesterday.

Picked up Philz Coffee before exploring San Francisco - Neo Valley. The morning and the weather was overwhelmingly beautiful. The service we received was wonderful. This was my first time having Philz Coffee so I ordered their Ginger Snap Iced Coffee - very tasty. Definitely woke me up.

Philz is a San Francisco classic coffee spot serving out high charged beverages with a kick. The ambiance is giving old school coffee shoppe vibes with tables, chairs, & some other lounging options. I ordered my two year old daughter a kids almond milk hot chocolate that was the perfect temperature & she really loved it. For myself, I ordered a hot mint mojito with cinnamon & my partner ordered a hot gingersnap both with almond milk. They were super yummy & boy does that caffeine come in strong! Even better that there's a park a block away for us to burn off some of this energy. This is a must try for anyone in SF & especially this location.

Outdoor seating is unique (haven't seen parklet style seating for Philz but very fitting for SF)

I found out the Summer Crush drink (made from the Better Days Cold Brew) which has hints of orange (or some fruit), cardamon and brown sugar + mint is only available at 3 locations: Noe Valley (here), Dogpatch, and Ocean Ave. It's SO refreshing!! I hope they eventually expand this drink to be permanent at all locations. Great service and welcoming staff. Location looks more homey and is in a residential area. Always have a good experience here when I get my morning coffee. Like with all Philz locations, make sure to order in advance with the app. You will save so much time. :)

Philz Coffee is clearly pure awesomeness. The large cup of hot chocolate I am enjoying is so good. Baristas friendliness - excellent Service - excellent When you are seeking for a cup of tea or even hot chocolate to refresh, Philz is the one coffee shop you can count on. What an awesome neighborhood hangout for that quick refresher. I am definitely enjoying it and will be back again.

Our regular order. And coffee for when the baby boy comes lord knows I'm gonna need it

Every drink we ordered was honestly delicious, you can really tell they put care into the quality and flavor of each one. Their coffee is smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The matcha was creamy, and not overly sweet. Definitely some of the better matches I've had in a while. The staff was also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Between the atmosphere, amazing drinks, and great service, this is definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm in the city!

Bright clean Modern minimalist decor with tiny little round tables just big enough for a laptop and your beverage of choice. Friendly service and definitely fast service midweek, though seating can be a little tight due to everyone camping out here "working from home". :) I really just wanted something simple like the drip coffee, black, no room, but they were out! Hey.. isn't this a coffeehouse!??? lol So I went for the Mocha and a blueberry scone. The Mocha was on point but I have to say the scone had a remarkable moist and almost airy texture with plenty of blueberries. 5/5 on the scone, 4.5/5 on the mocha. The servers were all friendly and seemed to enjoy being here as much as I was! I would love to come back again anytime I am nearby, especially midweek when there aren't any lines!

Sometimes you cannot tell the difference from Spring to Summer weather in San Francisco. There is no consistency when the sun will come out. When the sun comes out and Karl the Fog is on vacation people come out and look for something delicious and cold. There is one place you can enjoy a refreshing drink like matcha no matter the weather. It's located on Market street and Noe and it's called Oishii Matcha. On a sunny Market street stroll in San Francisco Don Juan de la Matcha landed at Oishii Matcha. Inside I scrolled and ordered using the kiosk. Since it was hot with the sun was out in the city I got the purple yam the Ube ice cream not on a cone but on a croffle ( part flakey croissant and waffle in SF). The Ube ice cream was not too sweet and was tasty and the croffle was soft and a bit crispy. I then had to wash it down with a refreshing Matcha Mango Latte with foam. The matcha was delicious and hit the spot . Now the only thing to consider next time is which nearby park spot I should hit to enjoy a Matcha. Will it be Dolores Park or Duboce Park or Noe & Beaver Community Garden ?( Questions in my Mind). Come get the real matcha and not the "phony"go to Oishii Matcha because it is organic ceremonial "only" so let's have a tea "ceremony" with Don Juan de La Matcha giving the true matcha "testimony" Fake matcha should be "unlawful" it is tasteless and the flavor is very "awful " at Oishii Matcha you can get the purple Ube ice cream on a "croffle" it's a cross between a flakey croissant and a "waffle"

Just a quiet marble table, a tiny vase with two yellow flowers, and a slice of matcha crepe cake that makes you forget what you were stressed about. I came in on a weekday afternoon and ordered the matcha crepe cake and a passion fruit refresher. The cake is the kind that looks almost too precise to eat. Dozens of paper thin layers stacked with the kind of patience most people reserve for things that actually matter. The matcha flavor is real, not the green tea powder imposter you get everywhere else. The drinks are thoughtful too. Not sweet for the sake of being sweet. You can tell someone actually tasted these before putting them on the menu. The space itself earns its own mention. Marble counters, natural light pouring in from the street, good music at a volume that lets you actually have a conversation. It feels like someone designed it for the experience, not the Instagram photo, which ironically makes it very photogenic. 4.7 stars on Yelp with nearly 300 reviews and I understand every single one of them.
